God saw what would happen to the sexton, God could stop it but God be like:

"Well, ​I know what you all want already but I just want to hear you beg!​"

The congregation now begged and god be like:

"Alright sexton, congregation don beg on your behalf. Oya, chop this small wound!"

Meaning if no one had prayed, god, knowing what would happen to the sexton will be like:

"Hehehe, i expected them to beg but no one begged for you sexton, so you can go to hell for all I care"

Too egocentric and anthropomorphic for a god in the first place

you are saying this because you are ignorant..i've seen cases where d king of a particular town and all his "abore"came to beg a man of God to leave der town..d man of God came der to host a 3 day revival der which coincides with der annual traditional rites...dey came to beg after series of confrontations and incantations but to no avail dats why d king had to come. ..c av witnessed and heard lots of miracles because of d kind of home i came from and i can bet my life dey are all but d work of God

I don't know where you people got the idea that miracles only happen in Africa. Kenneth Hagin, Andrew Wommack, John G Lake, Kathryn Kulman, Billy Graham are Americans that have numerous documented miracles performed in their ministries. Like I said earlier Google is your friend.
