allegedly promptly robbed a
bank, police in Eugene, Ore.,
said. He was caught by
authorities at the Pacific Continental Bank and returned
to Lane County Jail. Nobody
was injured during the alleged
robbery. “This is pretty fast,
someone getting released at
11:00 and then they arrive back 55 minutes later,” Sgt.
Carrie Carver of the Lane
County Sheriff’s Office told
ABC News. ”I can’t say it’s
the shortest time, but it’s
certainly the most notable because of the nature of the
crime.” Law enforcement in Lane
County was forced to release
32 inmates, including Weaver, in
order to balance the budget
for the year, Carver said. The
released inmates were imprisoned on charges ranging
from assault and sex abuse to
drug possession and drunk
driving. Weaver was
incarcerated for parole
violations for sex abuse and for unlawful use of a vehicle. Officials at the Lane County
Sheriff’s Office could not
confirm whether or not
Weaver, who now faces federal
bank robbery charges, has
been assigned an attorney. Magistrate Judge Tom Coffin
ruled Weaver a flight risk at his
initial hearing in US District
Court and he will be locked up
for “as long as the feds pay
for that bed,” Carver said.

the nigerian judiciary is disarray. Why not place them in rehabilition instead of death sentence. The death sentence should be allowed if both the high and low recieve eqaul punishments.

Authorities of the University of Nigeria have re-affirmed their commitment to the provision of a
conducive atmosphere that would enable students to meet their academic desires. Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Isaac Asuzu, made this known on Tuesday at the swearing-in of the school’s 13 pioneer dental surgeons at the UNN College of Medicine in Enugu State. He stated that the institution had not only sponsored lecturers
on study trips to some universities abroad to boost learning and research, but also refurbished all hostels to make them more conducive for students while security on its two campuses had been beefed up. Asuzu, who represented the Vice Chancellor of UNN, expressed joy that despite initial difficulties, the institution had now made history by graduating its pioneer dental surgeons, following recent accreditation of the Dental School by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The don, however, called for the participation of the private sector in the funding of university education in the country. He said, “The era when we depended only on government for funding has gone. In fact, great universities globally rely on
their Alumni for grants to carry out capital projects.” Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, UNN, Dr. Oge Okoye, described the 13 young dental surgeons as warriors and history makers, saying, “despite their minimal size, the surgeons have been grounded in character and learning and can compete favourably with their peers anywhere in the world. which place in enugu?

well i cant say for other states but in Enugu my state the buses are plying the roads alongside the ones the state govt introduced. The ones owned by the state govt are produced by INNOSON while those of the fed govt are produced by TATA.

I advice that all candidates should start real preparation now.....especially pple choosing medical and engeneering courses...getting admission into those courses no b beans oooo...u just av too start preparing.....when i say preparing i mean real preparation..read as if u wl nt read again when u get the admission...never depend on expos or special centres coz dey may fail...i never used it and i had 222..now,i have gotten 2 different admissions in 2 unis....and i av frndd wu had 280 and above and are still singing "not yet admitted"...WHY? They used expo 4 jamb and could not follow up 4 post jamb..then what is the essence..,..d best thing is to prepare hard..i can say it boldly.....admission is the easiest thing in naija..it depends on how u play ur card!!!?

and u will advice ur friend to choose it knowing fully well it ain't accredited. Thats what happened to me. Are u entering there when u are not sure when itr gonna be acredidated? Hmm i doubt.
