DEBJOCH1: Alot of things may be as a result of thedrop in their production, check their feed make sure they get enough feed and hope you did not change their feed along the line? Check their water, make sure their water source is clean, sine time when u administer vercine such as Lazota to them, for after some days their production rate definitely will drop and after some days it peaks up. Better still call a trained vet. thanks man....I'm currently treating them for any possible viral or bacterial infection (after I lost two in two days)...and I have seen positive change...thanks |

Agriculture › Re: I Need Help. The Yield Of My Birds Is Droping In A Drastic Manner. by obiZEAL(op): 7:54am On Oct 05, 2016 |
IdisuleOurOwn: First, it is impossible to have 14 creates of eggs per day from a flock of 350 birds. 350 birds will give you 11.20 creates per day if at all, all are laying which is impossible.
What is Your vaccination schedule? Do you deworm them every six weeks? Thanks G....I only assumed 350 to prevent overestimating, I originally bought 8 cartons and from brooding till laying I lost a few. I also fished out those with less developed comb. So it might be above 350. Yea I deworm, but not every 6 week ( usually more than) and i vaccinate them every 5 weeks. The latest dev is that two died on Monday...2 days ago....took them to the vet and the Dr said I should buy antiviral and magadox-N.....that's the drugs they are on now....I hope to see improvement afterwards Thanks man |

I have about 350 layers, when they started laying they were giving me about 14 creates per day, but it later dropped to about 11 creates. It stayed like that for a long time, then last week Thursday (after giving them EST for 3 days) it dropped to 10, yesterday I got just 9 creates and 16 and today's yield is not looking good. Please lemme just get suggestion of any solution or possible causes. CBC Pavore9 FarmTech |

Lennycool: The Op is wrong on many counts. You need to understand first that bill gates and mark zuckerberg are public figures with large interests in their various companies. If bill or mark for instance went about bashing religion I'm sure a lot of religious people would boycott their products, and I bet some Islamic countries would even ban it all together. These people are business men, they're too wise to do something as stupid as criticizing religion publicly. They simply don't shi.t were they eat. Besides none of them are from Nigeria, were pastors own jets and mansions thanks to offerings and donations while their congregation are starving and the same pastors will tell them to wait for their reward in heaven, in nigeria where up to 97% of the population is religious, where pastors conduct fake miracles live in other to gain more members ( in the u.s no popular preacher will ever conduct a live miracle because he knows just a little investigation by the press will crush his story), they don't live in a country that spends millions yearly sending religious people on pilgrimages that have no usefulness to the country, while there are hungry mouths to feed, while our infrastructure is collapsing. A country that holds religious leader almost as high as their God himself. And yet you ask why we the atheist in nigeria continue to speak? why we refuse to be silent? why we detest religion? Open your eyes Nigeria is not being helped by religion, religion is a cancer on our nation, one that is getting out of hand fast. So to every atheist in Nigeria I urge you to stand firm even if you have to stand alone. No one will speak out but us. We cannot let Nigeria be clouded by religion forever. The road ahead is tough and filed with hate and persecution. But we must not and cannot give up!! Lolz...the last part almost sounded like u were preaching...its all good sha...buh I'm scared for seun...in my opinion he shouldn't have gone public with his disbelief, he has a lot at stake...some peepz might make it their purpose on earth to see this forum fall...u have no idea the length some people can go for their god |

Nice post G...I really liked the part where you categorised the atheist into two...I will say we have the active and passive atheists...and there is no problem with that, some people can't come out fully for numerous reasons. But I think you should address some overzealous religious peepz who have no respect for personal space...the gospel should not be forced down peoples throat! They should understand that some people don't just need it. |

Obinoscopy: Decided to resurrect this lovely thread. I've always wanted to join a Book Club on nairaland and I guess this is the right thread for it. We need a plan on how to make this Book Club Thread very interactive and resourceful.
However for this thread to achieve its purpose, we need suggestions from nairalanders who are interested in this initiative. I'll tag a few here. Please those I've tagged should tag others (note: only tag those you feel would be interested in this initiative)
Tags: Caracta, Ujsizzle, Jarus, Omenuko, Mynd44, Jaybee3, Teespice, Ishilove, Missmossy, Tgirl4real, Kingphilip, Missuniverse, Tonyebarcanista, Omenka, Fynestboi, Aisha800, LarrySun, Firestar, Olawalebabs, 1forall, Richiez, Obinnau, Aminat508, Aysuccess99, OAUTemitayo, Emaculate99, Catalyst4real, Abuklaw, ObiZEAL...
These are my suggestions, which are amenable to corrections: 1. We select both soft and hard copies for review/discuss/crtique 2. We have a coordinator who is nominated on a monthly basis 3. We can start with newspaper editorials and articles (for hard copy) and ebooks (for soft copy) 4. Each week the coordinator chooses a new newspaper article/editorial and a new chapter in an ebook for review/discuss/critique 5. Each week, the coordinator picks a "Word of the Week" and "Phrase of the Week" which will be based on the piece under review/discuss/critique 6. We establish house rules (or house etiquette) which will ensure order within the thread. This etiquette should be derived from Nairaland Rules and mustn't contradict it.
More suggestions please. And like I said the suggestions above are amenable to corrections. Please pardon my verbosity, I'm just a bit passionate about this. I hereby declare the floor open and take the backstage. Shaqhead, Noskyboy, beautiful80, kolajamejnr 1 Like |
