Happy Gregorian New year Fellow Nairalanders! |
For the past fiftythree weeks they have been away from family and friends For the past twelve months they have been manning check points and patrolling street ends For every day you have enjoyed the split unit of you home, they've been been under the burning sun keeping the enemies away For every night you have enjoyed the warmth of your bed, they have laid in the freezing trenches providing you solace For every moment you have hugged a friend, kissed a loved one, grabbed a beer, dribbled a ball, they have been holding on to their rifles and their breath defending all ''Arise O'come patriot'' and they rose to answer the call In distant land and at home Wearing the identity of our country, serving our father land with love and strength and faith They are flesh and blood whose love for their country has, to the hopeless, restored hope and strengthen the spine of the weak It is for the love of our country that they have left family and comfort to go into the desert field It is for the love of our country and not the hate of the enemy that they have put on their boots of courage and helmet of bravery Matching into the enclaves of the enemy, displaying gallantry They stand between the peace and happiness that is and the sorrow and affliction that could become They have felt all emotions, from the pain of leaving loved ones behind to the joy of returning to a warm hug after an accomplished task From the anguish of loosing a battle to the euphoria of winning a war It is to preserve our sovereignty that they have sacrificed their today, tomorrow and their eternity. ...To The Nigerian Army, Air Force, Navy, Police Force, Civil Defence, Civilian JTF and all those who have kept us safe for this past year...accept our deepest and most profound Appreciation! MORNDEW:Aii...just hang on, when gets to the stage militants and Bh has gotten to...I will tell u more |
11. If she watches telemondu. |
BALLOSKI:Stop bringing ethnicity into this, that's being petty...the life of every Nigerian is sacred, even if its one person that has lost his or her life we expect a reaction from the president. However I'm not blaming PMB, I'm blaming the journalists that did not bring up the issue when there was still time, we have to know the Federal Govt plans and intentions about IPOB And Biafra. No matter how u look at it, its a big issue at the moment |
Adminisher:You can't kill sensitive issues like this by not talking about them, this media chat is about Nigeria and every issue that is presently making headline should be attended to. Why will they be asking the president about asset declaration at this point, when youths are agitating on the streets of onitsha? Secondly if they felt it was necessary to ask about the zaria killing shouldn't they speak too about the onitsha killing? The issue of Biafra is not dead, those who think its is dead are just postponing doomsday. |
After watching this media chat...I'm by no way impressed by PMB's performance, I think his handlers did not do well in preparing him for this event and the journalist where not professional, after 2hrs of discussion the Biafra saga came last! My confidence in Our presidents diplomacy might have been shaken, but I still have strong convictions in his ability to lead Nigeria forward, atleast until his one year of probation ends. |

Is this Ngozi a journalist or an adviser? |
Confused Ngozi!... |
Channels TV is truly the best...Kayode is a proof! |
The look on PMB's face when he said''The ban will not be lifted''...all those schooling in yankee should just forget it and come back home... |
Only one guy is even asking relevant questions... |
gurunlocker:Do you mean ''speaking'' sir? |
