PoliticsThe Plights Of The Wailer: Why I’m In Severe Pain [narration By Tobi Jovic]_ by objovic(op): 4:51pm On Jun 11, 2021
[i]They say people can’t drive you crazy if you don’t give them the key,_
_I’m not sure of that, in this forced marriage (Nigeria) horror every day I kiss,_
_Like a Leopard tending a porcupine, I’m left with pains and injuries to lick,_
_Air we breathe, peace to life we pay highly for things that are bound to be free,_
_What a dystopia country I live, even Faith in God is expensive to keep,_
_I’m in severe pain, because everything makes me sick._[i]

You are at liberty to call me a moirologist because *in a mad world, only the mad are normal* but know that if you ever see me running inside the bush, if I’m not after something, something definitely is after me. My position on that, I don’t know but you can be the judge of this later but first, listen to my plights.
I’m proudly an African, black is a badge of honour, I was born, reared in Nigerian. I had been forewarned since I learnt to understand words that if I ever thought education is expensive then I should try ignorance with an hint that ignorance is far more demanding and honestly, I never gave it a try, little did I known that Knowledge or not Power is Power irrespective, I thought *when a citizen do what is right, the government are tasked to do what is left,* but I’m here wailing to every soul that care to hear, because I had been plighted to do everything, destitute of help, much to handle including a question of IF like the Animal Farm of George Orwell.
*IF ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, WHY ARE SOME MORE EQUAL THAN THE OTHERS? (The Plight of the Wailer)*
Here is my plight, we are compelled to idol academics and school, only for us to graduate and enter youth service orientation camp and being blamed for not schooling a trade, they make it appear like it's our fault the government are useless, insecurity, we have to defend ourselves, Nigeria is the only country you can die and still be missing, because they won't report the actual number in an incident.
Here is my wailing, I don't want to be blame for government failures henceforth, I don't want to be blame for going to the university instead of learning shoe making because I demanded engagement from my country, I don't want to be blame for being a good citizen and not carrying illegal arms to defend myself, I don't want to be blame for having to risk accident and possibly death while traveling on the poorly constructed road, I'm tired enough and above all, I'm tired of being tire.
Dr. Ben Carson wails and I quote; “We’ve been conditioned to think that only politicians can solve our problems, but at some point, maybe will wake-up and recognize that it was the politicians who created our problems”
“when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing- when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods but in favors-when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you- *when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice-you may know that your society is doomed.*” Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged, 1957
Dear Comrades, we’ve seen a lots, _tears from our farmers on the floor, blood staining our family doors, lies at its pick, fund raising disguised as a feast, rich getting richer, poor turning pauper_ but *Lessons in life will be repeated until they are learned and I believed Nigeria had taught us all the hard way, courage is knowing it might hurt and doing it anyway, stupidity is the same*, so whichever way they describe us, (courageous or stupid) you’ll accord with me that-it’s time to be practical, it’s time to act, and it’s time to stay strong for the change and June 12 is the date.
*Who Gave the Order?!!!*

Christianity EtcWhy Good Is Evil; Let Me Explain by objovic(op): 9:56pm On Jul 07, 2020
*WHY GOOD IS EVIL; LET ME EXPLAIN.*
Life they say is neither good nor evil, but only a place for good and evil and the main function of wisdom is to discriminate between this good and evil. The human depend so much on the justice of wisdom that we tend to forget the concept of faith not knowing that wisdom is only the rightful application of knowledge and not the definition of nature, because nature make no distinction between good and evil while wisdom tends to suspect every evil in good. People like to say that the conflict is between good and evil but in the actual sense, the real conflict is between truths and lies.
There is nothing more personal than this write up because I was once a victim of such circumstance where good become evil, recently, I made an innocent approach but judging from wisdom perception, I was doubted, the last stroke that broke the camel’s back was me being accused of being a deceiver, it pains like yaws itch, then it occurred to me, that good when reason from a corrupted mind, can be evil, it was like; *Good if not costly has the tendency of being viewed as evil because this world had displayed enough evil at the expenses of humanity to the extent that the structure of the mind of human being had been corruptly designed to perceive cheap and easy things as counterfeit*, ironically, we often cut a tree, without minding how it falls and it end falling on our head.
When I took my time to criticize this, findings prove that, it’s not about a person but its African to think that cheap goods possesses an iota of malicious evil, like when your state governor tile a local road in your home town, its normal to believe that the road will not last and when we were disappointed, we change our thought about the project, stating that it was a good one but the governor must have influenced the capital for the project in other to get some cool bucks, not minding whether the man had a clean heart to carrying out a fair to heart and human project without having underlying desire than good. The question remain; WHY IS GOOD EVIL?
Typical African believed that, when a man elects to work on your farm for no reward whatsoever, he has something to gain; if he’s not after selling your crops behind your back, he takes them home to feed his family, but I must say; I’ve met many NGOs with clear conscience to help, good example of this is- Saving Woman and Children (SWAC Foundation) of Dr. Di-Alien Noble, so the appeal is; we shouldn’t let a lone tree amongst wild grass cast a shadow upon our collective effort and the main purpose of this write-up is for awakening, for we do not wait until frog jumps into our cooking pot before we cry out ‘shuu’.
Africa is in need of young hands, who has their hope and faith alive and this is an outcry for all to heed, for when a man is drowning, he forget his pride and shouts for help, even to his enemy. The world needs to understand that; the rope cannot keep the cow against its will, she only respects its owner by staying put, it’s unrealistic to think you can oppress people for ever, because political fowl in our fatherland claims he is toothless, yet he eat corn and consume stones, if he has teeth would he eat up the whole world? Revolution is now, for one at a time do we climb the ladder, if we don’t, we may fall back to its base and that means starting all over again and when the tree is uprooted, their branches will fall off and become dry, that’s the faith.
A man who open his mind is ten times better than a man who keeps silent, for it’s difficult to assess what’s at the back of a silent man’s mind, whether good or evil. It’s a call to come together to create a world where good will not be doubted a masked evil, for the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moment of conveniences but where he stands in moments of challenges, great crisis and controversy. It’s a call to make Nigerian Politicians responsible and accountable, those who are prone to having high blood pressure of promises but anemia of deeds, it’s a call to challenge a system of government of ownership of much by few people, it’s not a fight against an individual but a challenge for a change of system of government that accommodated evil at the expense of good thus if good people decided to apply to make differences, there is no more vacancy for them to fit in or there good treated as evil.
If you don’t rise to join this nonviolent revolution approach, someone else will, because there were limits to the patience of the oppressed, remember; at the end, we will not remember the voice of our enemy but the silence of our friend says Martin Luther King Jr. we’ll know now that-why *good is evil is--because evil had been evil for long that good cannot be trust as good again* but the change is here, the Revolution is now, it’s not all about God bless Nigeria but how God will bless us as Nigerians, who is in?Ànusama

PoliticsTHE ELASTIC LIMIT: An Epistle Of Hope To The Nigerian Youths by objovic(op): 8:56pm On Jan 02, 2020
*THE ELASTIC LIMIT: An Epistle of Hope to The Nigerian Youths*
"Elastic limit is the maximum stress within a solid material that can arise before the onset of permanent deformation."
It's audible to the deaf and visible to the blind that Nigeria is celebrating a Structurally Collapsed System of Government where the average man stands at the receiving end, I've once said that I can't entrust the well being of Nigerian into the hands of a Saint with this current system of government, even if it's Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed (SAW) there is still high possibility of delivering below expectations because of of loop holes in every quarters, there is no fear of Justice in the sectors and there is no responsibility in many household, these doesn't undermine the occurrence of bad Diplomacy, Nepotism, genocide and bigotry encouraged at the Presidential Level, it's obvious that things are not going on well and everyone is stressed everyday.
We're trying to adapt and survive but we're not getting used to it, of course no one gets used to difficult life and the question is, What is the hope?
The answer is simple; the change will only come when the stress is no longer proportional to the strain, it's called *THE ELASTIC LIMIT*, the point where all of us no longer exhibit any atom of stress, where some are tired of the current genocide and others are celebrating it, some are tired of the nepotism, political instability, poor infrastructures, collapsed health system, the point when it's no longer some but holistically we're all *TIRE OF BEEN TIRED*.
The first episode of this tiredness was displayed in June 12 1993 general election, that point it doesn't matter which religion or ethnic group the change is coming from, Chief MKO Abiola and Babagana Kingibe were both Muslim, the CAN and PFN didn't rise for any complain because they're all tired, they won the election even in the home state of the opposition party of Bashi Tofa in Kano.
The only reason we lost the previledge was that we involved the system of government we're trying to change in the revolution and they find a way to deny us.
According to Omoyele Sowore *"All that is needed for Revolution is for the oppressed to choose a date they desire for liberty, not subject to the approval of the oppressor"*
I'm here to tell you not to believe the only hope of survival is to adapt or travel outside, there is hope of living large here too, we only need a change in the system,
The people of Kwara State out turned everything that have to do with Bukola Saraki politically despite being their godfather for nearly two decades because they were all tired of him and hard life.
Remember when stress on a material causing it to reach up to the elastic limit is removed, the material resumes its original size and shape or Stress beyond the elastic limit cause a material to yield and rupture.
That's to say; It's either we get a Revolution in the System of Government or the Country rupture, denigrate and ceased to exist ( If the well being of the people is not respected, nothing stops them to create a country where their opinions will be recognized-Samson Ojukwu)
All these will happen when we reach the Elastic Limit, the Point when we all become TIRE especially of been TIRED, the stage when; *The stress is no longer proportional to the strain.* The Point of Hope and Change.
*THE ELASTIC LIMIT*
Prosperous New Year to you all.

Christianity EtcSharia Law Is Being Practice Where It Needed To Be Practice by objovic(op): 6:28pm On Dec 26, 2019
*Sharia Law is being practice where it needed to be practice*
Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Mohammed Tanko calling for the improvement of the status of the Shari’ah law in Nigeria through the amendment of the relevant sections of the constitution and this has received mixed reaction from a lot of people and as such the reaction has been religion based and I wish to make a statement from different perspective given that *“Section 38 of the 1999 Constitution as ammended guarantees freedom of religion both in belief and in practice* we need to understand sincerely that; *The whole life of a Muslim is governed by the laws of his religion.* This includes but not limited to dressing, interaction, believe and culture. On these notes, you will all agree with me that, States which have their kings installed in Islamic way, their dressing and Culture is being dictated by Islam will not have issues with been governed by Shari'a Law and we all have these people in the Northern Part of the Country with their States being governn by Shari'a Law but coming to the South West for instance, my Fellow Oduduwas, it's not only going to be religiously biased but culturally insulting for CJN Tanko to introduce Sharia Law to these category of people, because before the advent of the White Man religion, these people already have their culture and religion (tranditional belief) which is still being practiced till today, so both Christianity and Islam should be considered second religions and little regards should be given especially when its at the detriment of the Yoruba religion and culture, their model of dressing and their way of life is still being influenced by this yoruba culture and their various rulers are being installed in the traditional religion ways and such should hold the religion and dress according to Yoruba culture, Both Christianity and Islam should in this environment operate quietly in the space given because they are considered other religions but the Buhari led adminstration being Muslims does not want to allowed this and if you agree with me, we shall reach a conclusion that Sharia Law is being practice where it needed to be practiced, where their primary religion is Islam and their king is an Islamic leaders but if the CJN Tanko decided to install the use of Sharia Law for the Muslim in the Oduduwa Lands then he's trying to say that Muslims which will be bound to operate within the context of Sharia Law cannot be the Traditional Rulers or King again because Shari'a will demands that they never practice their primary religion which will not allow them to observe their traditional beliefs and the Yoruba traditional rulers must be installed according to the traditional religion and culture and not Turban by the Sharia Islamic Cleric or should we say Shari'a Law should first be amended to allow Yoruba to practice their forefathers traditional religion? That sounds insulting to Islam right? The same way Oduduwas feel insulted when Shari'a Law is being proposed to be imposed on them, the truth that no one can denied was that; *majority of the Oduduwas (70%) practice mixed religions while all our traditional rulers practice either full traditional religion or mixed religions, no traditional ruler practice fully other religions (Christianity or Islam) without respect to Oduduwa religion* these groups of people are doing good being governed by the Nigerian Common Law which gives regards to their culture and religion and at the same time never being biased to other religions as well.
Conclusively, I have a fear and this have to do with the concern of many good citizen of Nigeria and the military as well and this is * who is sponsoring the world most dangerous and deadly terrorist organization Boko Haram who is fighting for Nigeria to be governed by Shari'a Law?* and now our country Leader is fighting for the same course, I guess we need to connect the dots here and the result is becoming fearful for me.

Nairaland GeneralWho Is The Number One Oba(king) In Yoruba Land? by objovic(op):
Following the exclusion of History from Academic Curriculum in Nigeria, many have issue in knowing the history of thier native land which Yoruba people are not excluded.
This trend create avenue for us all to discuss on the leading King in Yoruba land thus diving to history on the creation of kingdom they governs.
among the king that claim leadership of Yoruba race includes but not limited to;

1)Ooni of Ile-Ife
2)Alafin of Oyo
3)Oba of Benin
4)Olugbo of Ugbo
5)Oba of Eko
6)Oba of Ijebu
7)Oluwo of Iwo
8 ) Onipopo of Popo (Benin Republic)
9) Onisabe of Sabe (Benin Republic)
10) Oba of Ila
From my own perspective and my history; I'll agree with the Iku baba yeye, Alase Ekeji orisha, the Ooni of Ile-Ife (Oodua ooooo)
My own history to back this goes thus;

Odua has plenty children. first Aláàfin brothers were rulers of Benin, Ìlá, Şábę, Pòpó, Iwo and Kétu; Olufe was also part of his children being the child bore to him by his maid, but he appointed some of them to rule the sub kingdoms including some areas in Benin Republic there is Onipopo and Onisabe. But he made the last born the Oranmiyan the heir to ife throne. Oranyan was also appointed to follow the Igodomido people who came to seek the political and spiritual will from Ile Ife on getting to Uselu, he was opposed by the factioned Igodomido people and waged war against them and took over the kingdom. Then known as Ile Ibinu (Land of war or vexation), or just Ibinu, later evolved to Ibini by the people of Igodomido due to language pronouncement and to Benin by the Portuguese that came for trade . Oranyan left the throne for his son Eweka to be the Oba of Benin where he left for Ile Ife but stopped at Oyo as his palace and requested for the power in Ile Ife annexed to the Oyo empire which was so. He waged war against the Nupe and suceeded and took over the territory where he married Torosi that gave birth to Sango. Today’s Nupe is Kwara and some parts speaking Yoruba in Kogi state.
For Ijebu people were said to be migrated from Ethiopia, the Jebusites and the ojude oba people met them their but ruled over them.
Lagos was discovered by Benin’s Ado, but annexed to the Oba of Benin kingdom known as Oko (farm); but trade started there by the Portuguese with the Ado who was the minister of trade for Benin. Ado named as Ido market today and Oko is Eko. After the death of Ado, the palace was built by the Portuguese inside Isale Eko, known as Iga Idugaran.
Aushi and some town in Edo including Warri as said to have migrated from Benin.

Ooni is widely regarded as the paramount king in Yoruba land but, they are controversies over it. because of the recent claim of, ugbo people, in ilaje local government, being the aboriginal inhabitants of ile ife before the arrival of oduduwa, oduduwa and his father Lamorudu migrated from mecca following dispute on acceptance of religion and he met people in of Ugbo in Ile-Ife but conquer and rule over them.

Do the ranking of the Yoruba Obas by yourself.
