It appears you are this guy and I am sure you and him are not Igbo because even on facebook he is always comparing Anambra to other Igbo towns as if Igbo states are in unhealthy rivalry. I can swear that guy is from a tribe that hates Igbo and are bent to bring Ndigbo down. It will never be better for that guy and all that are associated with him. His generation will never see anything good as he has chosen to destroy the Igbo race by being in all social media outlet and destroying posts concerning Igbo.
On Facebook, he goes by various names and same photo. It is very possible he cropped another persons photo. He has the same English expression such as BITTER and FRUSTRATED.
We all need to join hands to destroy this evil person.

As you are Mr Know all, can you point out any project carried out by Obiano and Soludo so far in any town in Ihiala LGA, and I will delete my submission.
Imagine a University that was established and had it's main campus at Uli was moved to Igbariam leaving only one or two faculties at Uli. Why that huh

Anambra does not discriminate against it's own except for ones suffering from inferiority complex.

Wheather a new state is created, making Anambra the smallest state by landmark or not, the eagle will always soar. I still insist u delete that awkward comment because ur town is not more important than Ihiala, Ozubulu, or Orumba. Below is one of the roads recently started/complicated by CC Soludo connecting Orumba direct to Awka. We can go on and on.

My support for creation of EXTRA STATE from ANY part of Igboland is more about more resources from the federal government and development for Igboland as it will one way or the other trickle down to those parts of Igboland not affected.
If Orlu or Njaba whatever name it is called is created and Ihiala LGA is part of it, do you know that the skeletal remains of the Ojukwu University Uli can become a full fledged federal or state university and the development in all that axis will be phenomenal. This is my angle of argument ....development! development!!. Coming to Anambra state govenment, go to Nanka, Ekwulobia and Old Aguata and see where the resources of Anambra is concentrated. Please point to me the road constructed by Anambra state in Ihiala LGA since Soludo came. May be I am in a hurry, probably next phase of road construction may benefit some communities in Ihiala but we are yet to see the sign.
Finally let no one be against this very nice move which I fear may be thwarted by same Ndigbo because the initiator is not of APC or in good terms with Uzodimma. Nkea bu Nke Anyi nile.

ADDITIONAL STATE IN ANY SHAPE FOR SOUTH EAST IS ACCEPTABLE
I can read some ignorant and insatiable Igbo people say they don't want Orlu State.
Tomorrow these same stupid people will say Nigeria is marginalising the Igbo.
I remember Buhari challenging Ndigbo to agree and bring the name of ONE STATE and he will put in motion its creation but Ndigbo COULD NOT AGREE on one state. Ndi Ara !!!. It has started again, NDI ARA are saying Ozubulu and Okija will not be part of Orlu State. Now tell me, what has Ihiala and Ekwusigo LGAs gained from Anambra State? Ihiala LGA is overlooked as a fringe LGA.
Please Ndigbo that are wise should SUPPORT this great move that our grammar speaking Igbo elites and Politicians couldn't initiate. Let us leave off the foolish wailers.
Finally, I do not care where additional state is created or the name so long as South East is given an extra state.

Reports indicate that it has been replaced with a statue of Jesus Christ as a shepherd leading his flocks. Additionally, the flag of Israel has been hung on the staff of the statue.

The monolith, known as the Ikom monoliths, is part of a series of volcanic-stone monoliths from the area of Ikom. The Ejagham people are believed to have engraved the monoliths around 200 CE.

The monolith stands between 0.3 and 1.8 metres (1 and 6 feet) high and is laid out in some 30 circles located around Alok in the Ikom area of Cross River State.

This change has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

Cross River State after Donald Duke left office has always had some funny creepy characters as their governor. The other one (Ben Ayade) that is in the league of disgraceful professors in Nigeria was a known mental case. This one there now is now exhibiting same sense of charlatanism and demagoguery. How in this century can a man who travels abroad and visits museum and historic site filled with artefacts destroy same in his state. Why is underdeveloped chicken brain humans only found in Africa?

Abeg pray the governor of Abambra state to complete the road to Orlu.
Politicians from Orlu zone governing Imo state think that if they repair the road, they are doing good to only the former gov of Imo who comes from Orlu local government area. That gov from Orlu local government area got the MCC in 2000 who reconstructed the road.
This is the Orlu section of the Ihialla-Orlu federal road.

This is a federal road. Anambra and Imo states governors should get FMW minister Umahi to reconstruct the road which has a spur from Isekke through Amaofuo to Uli and Joining the Onitsha Owerri road at Girls Secondary School Uli.

Anambra Airport is begging him to come and construct MRO there, he is foot dragging but he is lamenting that after paying hundreds of millions of Naira, Lagos State government has refused to give him land to build an MRO !!!! The first 1 km of this gigantic project has been completed on Ahmadu bello way victoria island, I am not out to throw another Igbo pity party,my question to the house is how can the South east state governments key in to the project to at least get some socio economic benefits ,...since the 1 trillion road project does not transverse any Igbo state! Also what are the risks if any for some of the key projects planned in the eastern region........I think that project will kill the proposed Ibom seaport project and the Bonny seaport project as well........

Tinubu should drop this dangerous idea. State police will be used by the State Governors against anyone that disagrees with them politically. That scenario would spell doom for the country's democracy. Furthermore, the usual Nigerian factors like ethnicity will come into play heavily.

Another thing is that most states can barely afford to pay salaries of their civil servants currently. It is highly doubtful that they can train, equip and pay additional thousands of state police personnel. The end result will be chaos and more crimes in most of the country. Please Nigeria is not ripe for this. Apart from the US, most other countries don't even practice such a system.

E NO GO BETTER FOR YOU !!! You are an enemy of humanity. Boko Haram and Fulani terrorist supporter. Is the federal government not abusing the police by supporting Fulani terrorists to terrorise Nigerians? Let's have state police and see if any bloody terrorist will near my state again. How is their region? Have you crossed the Niger Bridge Onitsha in your life? Was Lagos and Abuja developed by only individuals from those regions. Why is Ekiti or Kogi or Zamfara the way it is (far backward than South Eastern states). Many of you do not know the power of strategic infrastructures such as seaport, international airport, Diplomatic Missions, railways etc that your federal government deliberately refused to situate in South East.
Let the federal government locate seaport, real international airport and railway link like those in South west and you will see exponential development.

A new world-class golf facility, Acropolis Golf Course, is set to be launched in Ihiala, Anambra State by April 5, 2024. The golf course is a standard nine-hole par 36 course with two par-3s and two par-5s.

Over 80 professional golfers and amateurs are expected to be part of the ceremony that will feature an 18-hole tournament and extensive tour of the facility.

The golf course, will be opened to the public from Friday April 5, among other activities lined from till Sunday April 7 2024.

Facility manager of Nest Oil who manages the project, Obioma Ogakwu, said the golf course will complement his company’s social investment in the South East region of Nigeria, and help expand options for internal tourists visiting Anambra.

“Golf is one sport that has been growing silently in the country, and this project hopes to accelerate it and help the state harness its potential for social and economic growth.”

Former Nigeria number one professional golfer, who has been working with the facility owners to bring some of its characters to international specifications, said the course would change the dynamics for the game.

“The standard that has been set with the Acropolis Golf Course tells of the passion of the owners, and their drive for excellence, which is needed to raise the demand for quality golf facilities in the country.”

“The South Eastern states of Nigeria have fewer golf facilities despite having immense golfing talents and contributed hugely to the local golf tourism. I believe Acropolis will do to Anamabra what major golf courses have done to the tourism value of Federal Capital, Abuja, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Lagos states.”
