Bro.. Have you ridden before? If not it's best you go and learn how to ride. There are one otytwo in Lagos to get grips on how to.

Another thing is it would be wise to go for a smaller capacity bike like 300-650cc, get to learn and be comfy before upgrading.

Hope you know the other risks involved??

I used to ride this 2002 Kawasaki ninja Zx6 some years back before I sold it. Sweet memories I must tell you.. For now I still dey eye madam first before I arrange buy a replacement.

Why did you change the sump in the first place? Asides a leak.

Mwile did you use recommended engine. Oil?

Before your kazeem elect starts peeling wires why don't you tell the mechanic to have a look see at the oil sump filter.

Another pointer is to look at the oil switch if faulty.

Okay house, i am sorry this update is coming late . . work and all but i feel it is proper i inform you that the issue has been fixed.
I had approached 2 sound engineers on this forum; kudos.
But at that point, I was invited by the Honorable Costee for a private chat. We went through the issue together on whatsapp.
And it pointed towards the BCM. He invited me over to his domain; led me to his dealer and after what seemed like hours of searching,
we finally found a replacement, exact part number. Took it home; managed to install it, not without some bruises though, and car came back to life, except that it would crank but not start. One or two calls were made, and a key programmer came within the hour and car was back to life.
I owe this fix to Costee; a very fine and accommodating gentleman.
And to AUtoElectNG, you are amazing. We still have a lot to work on sometime soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

Beautiful. I really am touched by your story. And hopefully more to come though a lot has been done on this forum. Nice one and thumbs up to Costee and Auto elect.

If you have time and mony for a complete teardown then by all means go ahead... But I seriously doubt if you can remove the gunk from all nooks, crevices and passageways. Abi u wan use laser?

For me I would prefer a rebuild..heck.I personally rebuild my power generator as at when due.. Not been to a "repairer" in two years . After they scammed me cuz I no get time..

A rebuild is way cheaper... With proper tools and Oem parts.. Sadly in Naija only a handful of knowledge, tools and parts. Oh yea... you can ship in.. (defeats the cost thingy)

Asides the water issue some of these tanks are just plain dirty like some one mentioned. No particular standard in filling the underground storage tanks. Do they even wash the tanks periodically?? What about abused and adulterated petrol?? E get where fuel abuse go reach no matter the fuel additives one adds your catalyst and other components na bye bye.... Abeg the suffer in this country sef.......
