I- Craft ,that's beautifully made ,its an improvement over the one i made months back and am happy yours is better.This is what we need ,we need improvement.Together we can achieve greatness.

All ,the signal testing on the dish is done and am happy with the result ,it worked both on foot print and out of foot print frequency ranging from 10ghz -12.7ghz.The weight is the set back,Its too bulky,I need to improve more on the weight using lighter materials next time.
Note the dish is for educational purposes no string attachd ,I believe if I can you to can.Its fun doing the construction and it gives me more knowledge into how satellites signal behave on different curve surfaces .

The joy of it is if anybody is talking about dish construction next time ,i can easily contribute my quota. It makes you look more like a professional in satellite world than a common installer.

If you haven't lay your hands on dish design and construction i guess you are missing something.

Its really a pity that i have to stop any thing related to dish construction on this thread if that is what will make sophimore to be psycologically okay.i wont do anything stupid that wont make anybody happy here.my pictures are meant to show you can do it if i can,and also to give the audience to members for corrections,am not a guru neither am i gurumaraji but honestly speaking that guy called sophimore is 100% satgurumaraji.

Alabi u cant get badr with 90cm if yoy are in nigeria,the only tp that can easily pop up on 90cm is 12303 unfortunately its not active.jay1 only if you reside in the east you can get badr with 2.4m though i was lucky a tp pop up on badr but it doesnt worth the effort i guess its 3m and above thay can work it out.

Lunsat most satellites share the same ghz so far they are ku band 10_12ghz.now its possible for you to use nilesat tp 10719 to track hotbird on the same bird you will have network but only one with the correct parameters will bring picture or scramble channel as the case may be.you can get this while tracking.by parameters you have the frequency,symbol rate,polarization, audio and video.if your audio and video parameters doesnt correct but same tp then u will only get the signal but no picture.u must be a good installer to understand this.

T shirt now you know u dont need to under rate people like him,until u are close to the gutus you wont learn.because not everybody can take shit from the so called newbies that is why u cant see them any more.few that can take shit from anybody are few for the fact that you disrespect them they still take time to answer all your questions.we have more to gain from elders.

Brainy that means you have one transponder that is active on w3c but belong to sirus.if all the parameters are not right you wont have pictures but only green.for example 10719 is for cyfra on hotbird at 13 degrees the same tp is for digital albenia on eutesat 16e , untill you have the correct parameter one will either bring pictures will other job give you good signal strenght but if u blind scan it will not show any picture.hope you get the gist.

No EPL for now but jsc is still bidding for the right

Tomtosho,my advice for u is to get bigger dish, motorise it for maximum enjoyment.get aljszeera card and if possible abudahbi sport card.with thay you shld be fine.if you dont fancy epl then go for aljazeera sport card.its cheaper than dstv
