sorry u cant track nilesat with 90cm only if you are inside the foot print.Here in Nigeria we are out side the foot print but nevertheless you can use a bigger dish to track nilesat .Atlantic bird 7 is your best bet .channels are aljazeera news and some arabic channels and aljazeera sport 1,2,9 and 10.also you have arryadia 90cm is ok for north west africa beam.

Tired of paying dstv then get 4.5m dish and motorise it put cband and ku band i bet it with you u will never regret it.big ugly dish is for sat lovers.i read from tele magzzine zbout a 70yrs old man in hungary who interest still is still in satellite tv..his handlying 6m dish.they are all over the world.

Ucheo,it depends on what you are looking for on nilesat.but you have better options at abakaliki with your 2.4m facing badr 26e than nilesat7.for perfect signal on badr 24/7go for 3m.also I am working seriously on petalised dish hopefully if time permit I should be able to hit euro2012 on some free to air channels.

Lunsat'you are correct your choice of lnb has to do with your choosen f/d when designing your dish.most people dont know this.

Lunsat lnb cannot tell if you are closer to a satellite only your receiver can do that.some receivers are more sensitive to signals than others.i once use technosat though its dead now.it very sensitive to signal .old strong receiver i can trade it for my hd receiver good for yracking too.i still like my dead technosat t888.

Irapada with 4m dish i dont think you need to ask anybody what is good for you .fold your sleeves and do something worth emulating.try all the satellites one by one,from 55w-68.5e both ku and c band .

Brainy if u have android phone u can download a sat application.that can help you in tracking,but trust me I still like my old method
