Romance / Re: What Are You Angry About In Life by oboy81: 12:24am On May 19, 2020
Bloooody:
The fact I'm a Nigerian.
What did I do in my past life to deserve such harsh punishment?
Couldn't I have being an American, a British, an Australian, a German.
So many wonderful nations with serious leaders but NO, I was born into Nigeria.
I'm just slightly lucky because I wasn't born into a poor or stupidly religious family even tho my father Is a social retard.
I'm sick of this chicken pox and fever, I feel like hanging myself because my body itches so much and I can barely sleep at night.
I hate the fact almost everyone here is judgemental And intellectually DULL.
I hate the fact being an atheist immediately makes you seem like an evil person here.
I hate the fact I'm an African male!
How far ur Chicken Pox and Fever?

1. Did you tell your people you are out of work?

2. When you were working, did you give your people?

How come your PEOPLE are giving others and not giving you. Not a single one. You and your people have personal problems.

Normal people do not behave this way. Isn't it cringeworthy?
You Say you are a Mistress of Evil, E V I L. why should you cringe, this isn't even close to Evil

Religion / Jehovah's Witnesses Why Are Your Members Very Different From What Is In The Book by oboy81: 10:34pm On May 02, 2020
Of all Christian and Religious Sects JWs appeal to me alot. I used to be a member for a while even.
When you read JW publications you see deep research from all sources. The JW organization is very Scholarly and very very sincere, but that is a very sharp difference from the members. I have seen this religion practiced in three countries including Nigeria, but this ones in Nigeria are not just it! Too many stupid Members.
One JW guy who is my neighbor is an idiot, him and his wife. He does not raise his children according to the nice JW style. His best friend is an adulterous, proud Stupid insensitive Annoying, drunkard. He would be cool with everyone except with me, it's so obvious. And before he came around some used to call me Pastor even tho I'm not religious. his wife I won't even go into that. Many many like these, many Nigerian JWs are very cold. Many are greedy, some outright scammers. I remember one that Scammed my sick mother back in the day smh. If you check most MLM Schemes or Scams cos that's what they are , a large percentage of these Scams are made up of JWs.
Why why why. I will wait for the ones on NL to come and display that very Troublesome, quarrelsome attitude that is very common amongst them. Oya come and yab Me I'm waiting
Education / Do I Still Have Any Of These? by oboy81: 9:47pm On May 02, 2020
Edited - I realised that I still have some emotions and feelings that are not good. If I should thoroughly examine myself truthfully I still need to improve a lot even tho I sometimes like to think that I'm better than most people, maybe poverty is connected to these Feelings, no it definitely is connected to it, I must stop all of these to be a happier, cleaner, saner person.
1. Anger - is probably my biggest problem, it is the major part of the foundation of everything. I am angry at my lot in life, I am still angry at my late parents, I am angry and hate my neighbors, I am very angry that I am a Nigerian. I hate the fact that People generally seem not to care about the right thing. This Anger Is hot enough to vaporize a River. i have a strong mixture of hate and anger, anger being the dominant. Life is what it is and there is very little I will ever be able to do about things. Even tho most of my anger is Justifiable, I still must still try to improve.
2. Envy - My envy is not the typical common envy of material things. I envy people who have things like a family, are truly in love, a Home and some regular things like that and it gets me angry when they take it for granted, 'Anger' comes in here again. I have stopped browsing so many websites and places like Twitter for example, that place is very annoying. I need to let go and just take life and the good parts.
3. Insecurities - this is based on damaged upbringing but I've made a lot of improvements and I'm still improving.
4. Looking down on others - well I can't even explain it I hope I improve. Maybe cos I read a lot and most of the people I'm around are very ignorant people close and far.
5. Depression and excessive Sadness - this comes in Automitically as the above mentioned are present. My child hood was traumatic, I've not had a Fair chance at life, I am in heavy Debt, my health problems (physical and emotional) are also there. Hmmn.
I will cut off completely all those who have a trace of these Qualities which is = almost everyone.

Based on this situation, I have started studying the Bible again, the Bible has a level of internal harmony and comfort that I haven't seen or heard in any religious book. The story of Job for example is so real, simple, encouraging and comforting. It touches on the issue of Integrity, loyalty, obedience, Disappointments, Betrayal, understanding, faith, Hope, Endurance and much more.
The books of the "new testaments" or Greek scriptures teach one how to be a better person (or Christian), from the core inside out.

Look at the first part of the post yourself and ask yourself are there certain traits I should do away with? maybe some were not mentioned here. if you feel you should, Do So immediately! A mind that is not at war is a peaceful, happier mind. Happy weekend.

@CAPSLOCKED yes I would like to, like every normal person on Earth today, Improve my financial situation. Have financial Security and Freedom. That is what everyone deserves

The first day I walked into my class here,( I started late),
The lecturer said I should call her by her name shocked
Shuu. Next thing, she has my number. So all other lecturers. At first, it was hard but I adapted.
Classworks is like discussing with your buddies.
During this lockdown, we had sessions through the internet. Students started complaining it's hard for them, they opted for plan B by sending school works, assignments what have u through the post. U finish at a stipulated time and post.
They constantly call and the first question is how are you and your family doing.
Any problem let me know so I can break it down via email.
But we will revisit all as soon as school starts.

Why won't u come at the top in your class. Even with family and work?

Leave naija education pleases.
Where is that

Wrong! schooling in Nigeria sharpens your brain. A lecturer would come twice and set the whole course outline for exam. Abroad they give area of concentration but for here who go give you. Abroad their math questions go like this: "using formular a-b=c solve the following" but here who go give you formular for exam hall you must cram all the formular. Why you no go sharp after four years?

Fro the attitudes of your professor alone which goes a long way to navigate your psych to the manners in which most of them teach.
It's not surprising that majority of us excel well academically outside.

Education in Nigeria is bad. The Motive, the Essence, the quality etc..needs to be rearranged inside out, From primary to tertiary.
The very poor renumeration of Teachers, the stupid, disgusting damaging Infusion of religion in the school, the school uniform ish, the grading system, Manner of Discipline and Punishment, to mention a few.
Most of my teachers were idiots! Even the ones that were trained teachers (NCE, PGd, B.ed)
This matter long abeg, we go dey talk am anoda day. I will not even go into those jagbajantis middle-class Private Schools in Lagos and all the tutorial and lessons now affiliated with them, cos the way I see it the OP still had good education at least by the Nigerian standards.

The Old boy hit small money and must use it Optimally. I don't know when next I will see a job or money, Pls come in let's Brainstormtorm
I'm thinking the following:
1. Food - obviously i am trying to buy something that I can keep for a while either canned, non-perishables, grains etc. As things Worsens whatever food is available at an affordable price people will rush.
2. Soap, detergents, and other daily household essentials. - I'm searching for where I can still buy any basic day to day stuff like 10 cartons/dozens, keep then start selling after 1-2 months. My mind is Going to antiseptic liquids for now I will walk around see any store I will buy plenty and keep.
Suggest let's brain storm and see where we can buy them, the earlier the better.

So I was doing some watchman rounds in our backyard this morning at about 1:30am and saw the cobra after eating about 6 chicken eggs.

I had observed yesterday that the chickens were spooked and were making noise, so I decided to go round the house this morning.

The snake was measured and was 6ft2!! (about 1.86m)
Why are you risking your life like that
