That's not a python oh, it looks like a puff adder. Kill it or get killed. |
I have stayed in Kaduna very close to this junction. This place has claimed a lot of lives. I remember one in particular I witnessed where a car crushed the legs of a man and wife on okada and they bled to death before they got to a hospital. The junction is close to the inlet/outlet of a major city and people keep going against traffic here to get to the junction so you always have fatal collisions. May she rest in peace. |
Am I the only one that noticed all the pictures the OP put up were all photo shopped? Kai bloggers cannot make heaven! |
amicable09:I don't think you are aware but CBN has requested that NIMC slip be accepted as a valid means of identification hence the tweets. Sterling bank has no right to reject the slip. I am aware that some banks like Ecobank have been collecting these slips as a valid means of identification for tier 3 and current accounts. Please do find out. |
I think the plans are all unlimited. It may have been structured like Smile unlimited. Smile has 2 unlimited plans I know of; N18,000 with speed of up to 5MBps and fair usage limit of 70GB and that of N10,000 with speed capped at 2MBps and fair usage limit of 30GB. After you exceed your usage limit, the speed is drastically reduced to 516KBps which is crazily slow until the 30day tenure elapses. |
Hello OP, ATMs can either not dispense totally or not dispense fully. They are not uncommon errors. What you need to do is report to Ecobank either through the email or WhatsApp supplied earlier. You cannot directly report to Union since you didn't use their card. You will get the balance before 72 hours at most as Ecobank responds to these cases with dispatch so no fear. |
My people, let's walk this talk not only talk it. Nairaland has 1.5 million members and if only 16,000 people give N500, she'll have the N8 mill she needs for the kidneys. Nairalanders, let's do it, let's give her a chance to live. I am sending N1,000 to the account now. |
Apostle Suleiman said that there will be a large scale Fulani attack in Benue state. He said he saw fulanis stabing people and he was asking what is going on. He said the sponsor of this crises was not in Benue state but in the north. He warned that who ever is sponsoring this crises must face the consequence of death. He also spoke on the agitation for Biafra. He said a typical Igbo man has a family mentality and that an Igbo man makes anywhere he is his home so they cannot be the ones calling for separation. He said those calling for separation are just commercial (his own words). He said those blocking the roads should just go and sit down because they are going no where. He said one of the best people on Nigeria are the Igbos and that Nigeria needs them and will not release them. That even if Nigeria does, where will they go because they will be overcrowded. He spoke to the government to give the Igbos the appointment they deserve and what is due to them because Nigeria does not belong to the Hausas, the Yorubas, the Igbos nor the south south but Nigeria belongs to Nigerians. He also said the continued detention of Kanu is corruption. He said corruption is not only misappropriation of funds but also perversion of justice. He said no government can be serious with the fight against corruption when it nonsenses its judiciary. He then prayed for peace in Benue state. Source: Celebration TV live service for 10-Jan-2016. |

This is very sad. I think we as Nigerians need a change in our paradigm. I am an advocate of change too but I think this attitude to GEJ is very wrong. No matter what we think of him, we should remember that by reason of his position, he deserves our respect. He may not have achieved what we expected him to but He is not without achievements. Please let's be civil in our reactions to our president. If we can't respect him den we cannot expect other nations to respect us Nigerians. |
I wish i could. Changed to HITV back in the days just to spite DSTV. If i could get a network dat airs BPL and La liga in high def, DSTV can bite my dust. |
I remember an unconfirmed report from a lady that boarded an okada to her house. During the journey the okada man asked her how she felt about the clamp down on boko h members. She replied that the govt should negotiate instead & listen to what they have to say. After she alighted, the okada man showed her a pistol and told her she answered correctly; if she would have said otherwise, she would have been relocating to her ancestors. |
Or maybe he is referring to snipers!!! |
Samsung will unwrap its latest blockbuster smartphone, the Galaxy S4, at the Radio City music hall in New York on Thursday evening as the South Korean phonemaker tries to bring the fight to Apple’s home market. With Samsung rumoured to have ordered a production run of 100m handsets and research firm Strategy Analytics predicting the S4 will ship 60m units by Christmas, Seoul is going head to head with Silicon Valley for dominance of smartphone sales. The Guardian will be reporting live from the unveiling of Samsung’s most hyped handset yet when proceedings begin at 11pm GMT (7pm EST). Expected big features include wireless charging to a screen controlled not just by touch but by eye movements. The Galaxy S4 should outdo the latest iPhone in areas such as photography and processing power, if the leaks are correct, but will still lag behind Apple on the quality of materials and the selection of apps available to the Google Android operating system it uses. Every leaked screenshot so far suggests Samsung will retain the Galaxy’s shiny plastic case, leaving Apple, which prefers aluminium, steel and glass, in its own category when it comes to external appearances. The most eyecatching new feature is likely to be an extension of the ability to control the touchscreen using eye movements. A front-facing camera tracks the gaze, which in existing Galaxy phones is already used to stop the screen going dark while pages are being read, and to adjust the picture to the viewer’s line of sight. Trademarks called “eye scroll” and “eye pause” were registered by Samsung in Europe in January, suggesting two new functions, and these appeared to be confirmed by screenshots posted to specialist website SamMobile on 6 March. The shots showed a menu of options, including one to “select the speed of scrolling when the device detects that your head is moving up and down”, and suggested it would apply to emails and web pages. The menu also stated: “The device pauses videos when it detects your head moving away from the screen.” The rear facing camera is reported to be 13 megapixels, compared with the iPhone 5′s 8, while the front-facing camera is also higher at 2 megapixels, which should improve the quality of video calls and self-portraits. The S4′s screen should be larger too, at nearly 5in (12.7cm) on the diagonal, an inch more than the iPhone 5. Processors with two cores are enough to make Apple’s latest phone one of the fastest in the world but the S4 is understood to feature Samsung’s eight-core Exynos 5 processor. Like Nokia’s flagship Lumia handset, the S4 will, according to South Korean publication DDaily, have the option of being charged wirelessly. Rather than using leads the phone is placed on a charging mat, which is itself is plugged into the mains. The wildest rumour so far, put forward by Patently Apple, which monitors intellectual property filings, is that of a 3D camera for still shots and videos. The US Patent and Trademark Office published a filing last week by Samsung that shows a logo for such a feature. Doubters say 3D images make uncomfortable viewing and have not been popular with buyers of television sets or in the few smartphones that already feature them. Where Apple retains a lead over Samsung is in its apps store. Google’s Android software platform, which Samsung uses for the Galaxy devices, has attracted a large number of developers and its store is predicted to be the first to reach 1m apps. But content creators still reserve their best products, such as new games, for iOS software because Apple’s customers spend more than Android’s |
President Jonand and Gov. Shettima during his recent visit to Borno By SaharaReporters, New York Two top leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Borno State were yesterday assassinated by gunmen suspected to be operatives of the Islamist militant group Boko Haram. The slayings came less than one week after the officials participated in welcoming President Goodluck Jonathan during his tour of the troubled state. The victims were Usman Gula (who was the PDP's vice chairman for Southern Borno), and Hajia Gamboa, who served as the party’s women’s leader for Shehuri ward in Maiduguri. A security source told SaharaReporters that both officials were killed by gunmen yesterday at their respective homes. The source added that, even though no group had claimed responsibility for the assassinations, the State Security Service and the Borno State police command were working on the assumption that the attacks were the handiwork of Boko Haram. http://mobile.saharareporters.com/news-page/boko-haram-murders-two-party-officials-who-welcomed-jonathan-borno |
