PoliticsRe: New Petrol Price: A Shift From Subsidy To Profit Making by Observant: 7:34am On Jan 31, 2016
No more N45 for PMS, wasn't that the estimate of this administration? Did they suddenly forget the mathematics.
From my calculation the government is making North of N15 per litre on the current price with the subsidy now totally gone.

Too sad the 15 million useful idiotic walking dead that brought us to this junction remain oblivious whilst roaming in search of the remnant of GEJ of attack.

GstringAngela:
Treason is not a bailable offence. It is an offence that attracts capital punishment. The Court would cetainly sentence Nnamdi Kanu to death. He would be executed either by firing squad or by hanging. The FG might be magnanimous enough to pardon him and commute his sentence to life imprisonement or a very long jail term with hard labour.

All in all, Nnamdi Kanu is in a really deep shi't. He will regret the day of that meeting in Los Angeles, where he urged the ibos in diaspora to donate him money that would be used to buy guns and bullets for the purpose of waging war against Nigeria
For the purpose of defending himself, followers and his struggle of self determination against the violence prepertuated on them by his pressumed oppressors.

You do know the difference between attack and defence right?
People should try as much as possible to be actual without sentiments.

Eddygourdo:
I have just started a little movement, it's still in its infancy. But I have great hopes for it. Hopefully that platform will attract real Nigerians, where we will have an unbiased voice of reason and hopefully in 10 years, have a vibrant nationalistic youth as the presidential candidate of our political party arm. I will walk the talk. I must walk the talk. Lest my children remember amongst the lots of theives and corruption
Rossik is always pained when black people are scolded to sit up and stop making a mess of the greatest continent on planet earth.
The truth is that while the average African is not an interior being, he has been seriously psychologically battered. His rational mind has been been severely uttered by the combination of slavery, colonization, neo- colonization, exploitation, global political bullying against his wish and so much more unthinkable vices.
Addressing the issue of tribalism, religion etc, We have to understand that most western countries were naturally formed by the people for the betterment of themselves and there ancestral lands, but most countries in Africa today were formed by opportunist and soldiers of fortune who forcefully killed, displaced, and exploited them for the benefit of themselves without regards to the owner of the lands, This is a fact.

It is only natural that people with different ideologies to life find it hard to co-exist. Case in point, if you uproot Saudi Arabia and make it a state in America to be governed by a unitary law which would take away their right to practice their ideologies and way of life as they know it now, what do you think would happen?

To this effect i have, resolved to only partake in any struggle that with see the present constitution jettisoned for a truly restructured and decentralized country where the individual comprising entities would make and decided how they want to live.

If this is achieve in the lifetime, then the next step will be totally autonomy of the individual regions of Nigeria.

Enough of living a lie.

Dearpreye one of the best mind of nairaland.
It is appalling that the failure of a few useless individuals called leaders of yesteryears is now the collective failure of the citizenry as a country.... Very sad indeed.

Well I have never hidden my joy on the crash of crude oil because this will be our defining moment as the commodity that binds us together is finally becoming worthless.
Lets see if the country holds together, Lets see if fiscal federalism is not the way to reach our far vast economic resources, Lets see which part of the divide is willing to fund/feed the country for another 50yrs.

The psychology of the average black African is battered and shattered hence there leaders looting there resources to better foreign lands.

No single natural resource necessary to build a first class civilization is lacking in Africa in fact the Caucasians mostly built there country's with our resources exploited centuries ago till date.

To say that I'm ashamed of the black race is an understatement and to say that I am Nigerian is a crime to humanity.

Very bad news for oil dependent economies, worst of all Nigeria since we refused to save enough to use as buffers under such a situation.

Now Iran would flood the IOM with its crude driving oil prices even lower- I foresee it dipping below $10pb.
PMB was voted in at the wrong time, he would have been the best person to manage our economy at the time of oil boom. At least we would have been sure of good federal roads as contractors won't dare embezzlement such funds. But now with an all time low of crude with no gain at site there is very little he can do.

I don't consider him one to be economically savy to pull the country out of this mess. Not the less I am happy the oil is fading to nothing so Nigeria can reconstitute itself for better productivity.

Mbuhari is yet to realize what democracy is all about.
The dictator apparently knew noting about the due process of recalling the fraud of a budget hence sending his aid to retrieve the budge of a country of 170M people at will.

This should be a real source of concern to discerning minds because we clearly have a head of state not a president. We may as well suspend the fraudulent constitution too to grant the solider a free ride at absolute power.

GANJAFARMER:
You obviously didn't read and comprehend where I said that every genuine civil uprising would always be hijacked by criminals .

You're talking about six years under a democratic system skewed in such a way that the consent of your oppressors would be needed to make any meaningful changes ? How was the six years ? how did it go ? I presume you were living in planet Mars for you not to have seen the gang up and total display of hate and resentment for a particular region and people even as our ecosystem is going down all in the name of patriotism. I still reiterate that if the Nigerian state has a human face ,no Niger Deltan would be willing to pick up arms against her sovereignty. When a people begin to resort to armed struggle to make a statement whether ill conceived or not , then it is obvious that they are not dealing with rational humans but greedy and selfish set of people that are hell bent on milking them dry while making a mockery of who they are - And I repeat: any Niger Deltan that has what it takes to demand for his own fair share of his God given wealth by any means necessary should go ahead ,after all the people on the other side of the divide do not care unless you resort to outright and senseless violence.

I have said it and I will say it again: The Nigerian democracy is a fraud and until we sit down like they did during the last confab and talk and also implement all that was agreed on we are going nowhere - If the FG like they should hang all the criminals in the Niger Delta, more criminals will rise up and take their place as long as the situation that gave rise to the first set of criminals is still present unattended to.

Let Buhari go ahead and find his criminals quietly as any act of violence perpetrated by the Nigerian military on the innocent Niger Delta people would be met with greater violence on the Nigerian economy and psyche.

Tell them to fish out their culprits and not disturb the peace of an already battered people - It will never go unnoticed and unchallenged.

I hope you're aware that if you're waiting for the man that is holding you down to set you free, you'll be waiting for a long time.
Who are bro?
You impeccably pull words from my thought hence no need me for me to retype it.
Fire on bro....
These days I stop my arguments at the mention of the constitution of Nigeria. Until people upgrade there mentality to undestand that the constitution is a fraud, I have no issue to discuss with them.

wirinet:
The Achilles heel of the nigerdelta agitations of the way it was carried out haphazardly, the Ogoni agitations were different from the wider ijaw agitations, the Itsekiri agitations is different from the ijaw agitations and the urhobo agitations is definitely different from the Anioma agitations. So a sort of wider consultative assembly made up of all tribes of the nigerdelta should have met and sat to discuss and arrive at a general position to present to Nigeria as a whole and the international community. We could not achieve anything the way it was carried out in the past. Once a group starts agitating, the government would only bribe and settle that group and life continues as usual. Members of Movement for the Survival ogba Ogoni People were settled with contact and appointments, the Ijaw militants were settled with raw cash, contracts and political positions.

As an Itsekiri man, i do not support the creation of more states in Nigeria. in fact i support the collapse of states. States is Nigeria are avenues of having a bigger share of the national cake national (oil rent money) and not vehicles of development, and as you should know, oil will be a useless resource in the future. So a how would you sustain these states when oil becomes useless? We need a political structure that would promote integration, production and trade and not one to go to abuja and ask for more share of oil money. That was what we had in the first republic and why Nigeria was progressing.
At the very best the foolishness of black people lay bare.
So you are beginning to realize that the smaller your voice the easier for you to be ignored?

If it will take any form of senseless violence to make the necessary changes that will put Nigeria where she belongs so be it.
FYI : There are no criminal elements in the SS/ Niger Delta , the real criminals are the owners of the oil well mining lease and blocs in the Niger Delta but they are from Sokoto, Kano, Kaduna et al and the people that have conered all the job opportunities and contracts from the same black gold that resides in Lagos by simply yelling 'we are more educated' yet some of their states went bankrupt as soon as oil price dropped
If you don't know your history , then shut up and go to bed or better still ,ask questions.

You all can keep biting about the bush but group on different fronts will keep demanding and asking questions about a union they never consented to.

North = Biko Haram
East=. IPOB Biafra
South. Mend/Militancy

It's appears that the dwellers of the four cardinal points of the geograpical expression have a rouse with the constitution which have taken something away from them.

Unless the FG insist on the treasonable action of killing its citizens while they fearful and ignorantly cheer on, it is time to end this illegal and failed 50yrs constitutional arrangement

Let me get this right, So people are rejoicing that someone in his bedroom just decided to give you access to what rightfully belongs to you??

So states whose lands produce solid minerals just like agriculture can go harness the product of there lands whilst the ones that produce oil/gas remain in the slavery of there resources being shared?

Who inflicted the once glorious black people with this much stupidity?
The above thread made clear the slavery of the various indigenous people this country by a few using a piece of paper called constitution to take what rightly belongs to you.
It is disheartening that people celebrate this nonsense instead of calling for the total implementation of the national confab recommendations.
