If you like, hit your head against wall. The proposed law is here to stay.
No wahala I am happy it has come because it will also affect Yorubas from Ogun and other SW states.

You don't need to complain on behalf of other SW state now. As a matter of fact, every true Yoruba is comfortable with the law that will protect their kinsmen - indigenous Lagosians.
Dude don't be stupid I am not complaining in behalf of anyone, but I am telling you that this law would impact yorubas not from Lagos and if they don't complain so would we.

I am not interested in how you define indigenes in your enclave. So, don't teach us how to define our indigenes in the SW.
No one from Ogun and other SW states has complained about the proposed law. Why only you people?
Oga when the law comes into full force and the guys from Ogun and other SW states are told what it means for them your eyes will clear.

Lagosians are Yorubas that's all that matters

If one Adebayo Timi from Ogun is going to obtain Lagos indigene certificate at the secretariat or Oba palace, you Okafor ibe from ebonyi can follow him to obtain it too, then you'll explain yourself there
Oha shut up the rule is clear un the constitution as to rhe definition of indigene. So whether you are Yoruba so far you are not from Lagos you are an F****ing non indigene

If you must know, that law is specifically targeted at IGBO living in Lagos because of your stupidity and same law will be replicated in all other south western states. Oh my ...only if you guys have an idea of what is coming your way,you won't be here talking about Yoruba from Ogun state or Kogi state !

Ogbeni, the game is up for you guys in Lagos and by extension, other parts of Yoruba land. We will no longer allow our known enemies to prosper on our land again;enough is enough ! Watch out for some actions in Lagos state in few months to this time,e go shock you ! Take my hint : start planing your journey back to your village now !Alaigbo is your home and that where you guys belong, okay ?

This Reno doesn't have sense walahi all because of greed he is causing division. The law in itself should be spelt properly if it is indigenes then other Yoruba indigenes of other states are affected. The target of the law is just to blackmail other tribes to always vote whom they are told to vote which is wrong.
They are all pained because of the performance of LP in Lagos forgetting that even Yorubas voted LP, but one thing is clear all the politicians sowing seed of discord the day your cup will full.

Your crime was that you didn't vote APC and bragging and mocking the locales with that? Bros is it possible for me to be dragging leadership in Anambra or Imo state with the locales and bragging with it on their land? I'm sure I won't even want to try that.
Now, concerning the election in Lagos state. Let me give you this simple analysis. You have a building in an (maybe you built it yourself oooo or you inherited it)estate and you have tenants living there paying you rents. Now it's time for you to contest for the estate chairman, your tenants now conspire not to vote for you and decided to vote for another landlord in the same estate. Bro sentiment apart, how will you and your family members feel? they are even saying it to your face that they have the right to vote who they want to vote for. With all honesty I Will want you to answer this question.
Concerning the civil war, before the junior Hausas soldiers retaliated, Aguyi Ironsi didn't prosecute any officers involved in the coup rather Baba was busy changing our constitution. And these was infuriated the junior officers that made them staged a counter coup.
Nobody was bragging to locals Oga stop this propaganda was initiated and executed by APC goons online. And who told you Ironsi didn't prosecute the officers? Recently records from Ironsi's SMC meeting were made public and it was clear that Ironsi had actually fixed a court martial to happen in August 66 after his nationwide tour only one member of the SMC objected to their trial and it was Col adekunle Fajuyi.
Concerning the unitary decree you have never read the decree and you have jumped into conclusion that he changed constitution. The unitary decree never removed regions, he still retained regions. The person that removed regions was Gowon not Ironsi.

Then so be it if that's what they want. You can't dictate the laws of a state for them. There are over 200 tribes living in Lagos and they don't give a damn about laws Lagos state want for themselves. Why do Igbos have to be the ones to always wail about whatever Lagos state govt wants for its people?
Oga stop deceiving yourself here. No Igbo man is complaining. What we are saying is that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. So it must apply to Yorubas who are non indigenes as defined by Nigerian constitution.

Brotherly, I love your courage but you see that presidential seat, just forget it. Obi cannot get there except with the backing of almighty God who can make the impossible possible.
When I saw Aminu Dantata at the inauguration bro I gave up. He was one of the elder statemen that settled the rift between Buhari and Tinubu because Buhari didn't support Tinubu initially.
See, Nigeria politics is beyond "just my region" you have to continue to reach out to other regions.
I will continue to say it that it will be very difficult for other regions to trust an Igbo man since what happened in 1966. The likes of Soludo, Okorochas and other igbos who have worked with other tribes know this. Look at what you people did in Lagos in the just concluded general election, dragging politics with the locales. Do you think other tribes are not seeing all these? Do you think the fear will not continue to rise in the heart of other tribes? You yourself think am naaa. Why dragging leadership with the locales in a provocative manner? Are there no Nigerians in other countries participating in their politics? Did you see them insult the indigenes or their founding fathers?
Go to Chinedu Gbadebo posts on twitter and see how he insulted Yoruba elders and by extension he has dragged Peter Obi into whatever messed he has created.
In the West, they scrutinize your social media posts and use it against you.
Apologies for my lengthy comment. I'm not just happy with the way igbos are playing politics in Nigeria. I will be happy to see an Igbo man on that seat before leaving this world but politics of hatred and bitterness has to stop.
Hold on what did we do in Lagos? Let me ask. Did we shoot anyone? Our crime was because we didn't vote APC. Rhe propaganda of No man's land started from APC I recall that you guys we the ones who started the propaganda rhat we want to take over Lagos. There was never anytime if os did anything wrong in Lagos. If we talk about 1966 please list all the planners of that coup and you will see three yorubas and 4 igbos among. So how in God's name is it the fault of igbos. We know Major Ademoyega, Captain Ganiyu Adeleke and Lt Fola Oyewole were all among the planners of that coup. So abeg this lies cannot stand anymore. And besides an igbo officer was shot by a fellow Igbo who among the coup plotters The Igbo man killed was Col Arthur Unegbe the quartermaster general of the Nigerian army.

It is not about that oooo. The constitution has provisions already where the word indigene is defined. So unless you want to forge credentials to claim Lagos which is a crime, so according to the constitution if you are not an indigene of Lagos, whether you are Yoruba or not you are a non indigene

Who takes the Igbo-backed trojan horse serious?..

Speaker Obasa has our full suppprt on this law.. We say o to ge!

The indigenous people of Lagos deserve far more from their State.

Lagos State is not FCT where people gather to eat the largesse, ilu Eko is for Yorubas and is a Yoruba heritage.
Yes it is for Yorubas but the emphasis is on indigenes so if your state of origin ain't Lagos you are a non indigenes irrespective of you being Yoruba or not.

Don't mind the hypocrites. People who cannot accommodate their fellow Igbos from other South Eastern states in their civil service (we all read how Theodore Orji, the then Abia governor dismissed civil servants from other South Eastern states) will be the ones lecturing you about how the prime minister of UK is from India and Colorado mayor is Yoruba. They say Charity begins at home but their own charity never begins in their Abia or Anambra first - they want it to begin in Lagos, South West.
The law even discriminates against Yorubas from Ogun and other SW states, because if your ancestral home is not within the confines of Lagos then you are not an indigene of Lagos.

Haba, Igbos should calm down. They started all these and it will be irresponsible of government to allow them to create a big problem for the state before they react. The house has not even promulgated any law yet, so no need fighting over the content of the law. Igbos should try not to claim Lagos as their heritage and peace will return ones again. Nobody is claiming any part of eastern states from Igbos, so they shouldn't come over to Lagos to claim ownership under any guise. if they are still looking for where to claim, they should go and claim Abuja.
See no Igboman claims Lagos as his heritage. Why do you think we travel to the east every yuletide season? It is because we go back to our roots. The issue is because of the presidential elections and the real gap with which LP won, forgetting that it was also Yorubas who voted LP. They are even making things worse for themselves by playing ethnic card because the term indigenes is clearly defined in the constitution so if they enact that law, Yorubas from Ogun and other SW states would be affected, as they are non indigenes.
