Romance › Re: Why Do African Men Fall In Love So Quickly ? by obyrich(m): 9:10am On Feb 06, 2013
Princess1982: I agree the guy I date is Nigerian and he was saying I love you after 2 weeks of online chatting and the few other African men I encountered through work and friends were the same way they would meet a girl and a few weeks later they were telling them they love them. Sure I guess some women like to hear those things but it creeped me out.
And what's the absurdity in a man loving a beautiful girl like you even at first sight? Maybe you should apply for 'wowority'.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Defence Academy And Military Schools Regional Imbalance by obyrich(m): 7:32am On Feb 05, 2013
GAR3TH: Does location actually matter? If you move the schools you'll still have the same military personnel enrolled and life will still continue as normal, nothing will change. Moving the schools is pointless and in reality is a waste of time and money. Once again, these are military schools, not bases, moving them will have no significance. You dont need to go to an academy to enroll in the military!!!
You close your eyes and ears and say it doesn't matter when your Emirs are given admission quota in these schools in their domain. You think we don't know? Our Eze's deserve same prerogative too. Nothing in Nigeria is done by merit. Federal character all the way. Share the booty lets go home. IT MATTERS A LOT WHERE THE SCHOOLS ARE LOCATED. Check the composition of the Federal schools in your state. You will discover that your brothers and sisters make up much of the student and staff population yet we say they are run by merit or federal character.

They speak with one voice in squander-mania.
That is the end all of them are fighting for.
These men are crocodiles who eat their own eggs.
They will come together to have a fair share of the centenary booty.
A cursed generation who not think there will be a tomorrow.
May they live long to reap the fruit of their profligacy.

Do u know how much he was paid to do that? I pity people who die because of these greedy men. They all fight for their pocket.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is It Proper To Reduce Your Age To Get a Job? by obyrich(m): 1:08pm On Feb 02, 2013
Redstone: It is not right in any way no matter the intent. But I think it is just a Nigerian thing, in developed world, age is not a barrier in getting a job, what is considered is your capacity to solve problems at work place, and not age. But in Nigeria, age is a barrier, and a typical Nigerian scenario is this, a graduate at the age of 24, starts looking for job and for 5 years he has not been able to get a job. Not because he doesn't have the capacity to work, but because he probably has a 2.2 and all employers are looking for 2.1, or he has 2.1 and employers are looking for first class. Time soon passes by and he wakes up one day to realize that his 30th birthday is around the corner. How does he then get a job when the age is limit is even set at 27?

Why would someone set age for employment considering the fact that it takes a lot of years to get a job. As an employer, I will seek problem solution ability in individuals.

I think the employers orientation needs total overhaul, that is why lots of people are jobless today, and lying to get a job in desperation now becomes inevitable because henormshe needs the job badly to survive and especially in a country where starting a business is like pushing an elephant through the eye of a needle.

I remember in New York, an American wanted to start an ice cream cafe, aside from his technical know how all he needed is to walk into the mall use his credit card to shop for all the equipments he needed, electricity is very constant, so naturally, half of his business needs has been met, but in Nigeria, even with the best business idea, you can't start it of you do t have the cash.

May God help us achieve our dream, NOT by lying, but in truth always.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR FRANKNESS. RECRUITERS IN NIGERIA ARE LOOKING FOR LIARS, AND LIARS THEY WOULD GET.

Ignorance? Demonic ignorance that would make people mark down their age five-ten years below the age of their classmates in primary and secondary schools? Ignorance that never allows you to have inflated age in the face of lower age opportunity? Ignorance so much that the last born of your mama (2 or 3 to you) is now your age mate? THEM IGNORANCE CAN WILL TAKE YOU TO HELL! You know many are born again now and are living righteous, BUT they never take serious the that the Blood of Jesus would not erase sin (official, inflated age) they decided to keep themselves! Satan is too strategic, waiting for them! I HAVE DONE IT BEFORE, I NEVER HAD PEACE! It is too hidden that it can be forgotten. I am asking God to help me clear as many that are hanging on my way to Eternal Life. Thank you.
Before condemning him to hell, have you taken your time to ask the morality behind placing age limits for employment in a country like Nigeria? What is wrong with a30 year old man or woman working in a bank when we all know that only few people dream of working till they attain the official retirement age? The truth is that you can't make heaven from Nigeria, better relocate if you are serious with your heavenly race. IS DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF AGE NOT SATANIC?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is It Proper To Reduce Your Age To Get a Job? by obyrich(m): 12:48pm On Feb 02, 2013
In a morally sound country where there is justice, equity and fair-play it is not proper. However, in a rat-hole, make-believe and criminal den like Nigeria, IT IS PROPER.What I know is that if the same ethical standards are used in judging all human race, nobody in the present day Nigeria will enter Heaven.
Family › Re: Let Your Secret Be Your Secret, Read This by obyrich(m): 1:23pm On Feb 01, 2013
fubbyy: let me ask you a question and I want you to answer sincerely, if you mistakenly got pregnant and abort it while in your parents house and your friend quickly rush and tell your father and the man that wants 2 marry you, did he/she do you any good? For crying out loud a lot of people did and still doing what I did and they corrected their mistake successfully

You said I lied to my father that I should bear the responsibilities not my friend, did I ask him to tell my father? If he didn't what would ve happened to me? If he didn't would the sch expelled me? If he didn't would my father ever know such thing ever took place? If he didn't would he die? How was what I did became his problem?

Listen I have a close friend who 4uc.k.e.d his elder brother fiancée and the elder brother still got married to her? What happened? If I leak the secret what would it change? Now that it remain a secret what happened? Did it cause any harm?

Some women know the true biological father of their children but they keep it secret, what will it change if they reveal it?

I once mistakenly sold my mum's gold #400 thinking it was ordinary abandoned chain, I kept it secret, what would it change if I had confessed? It won't change anything but would only bring hatred on me
javascript:void(0);
My dear, if my friend didn't do that I would ve still graduated peacefully because my dad would've know nothing about my lies.
Stop washing your dirty linen in the public. Dust the sands off your back and move on with your life. I doubt the veracity of your claim. The so-called uyime who told you Mike is an active Nairalander should have as well given you his moniker.Further attempts by you to justify your actions will lead to you revealing dirty things you did during your days in the university. I can bet my life your Grades in the university and your current behavior at home are responsible for your dad's refusal to finance your MSc rather than what happened in the past. No time is too late to effect a change. Michael will even be happier to know that what he did to you 8 years ago still has a resounding impact on your life today. Work on yourself. Learn to control your anger and tongue. Always remember that war is like madness that has no rules. My advise to you and anyone else is: PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS DO NOT THROW STONES!

tchidi: You were housed and fed for d three months abi? So what again na? That is just the training allowance! If he had monetized ur feeding an accomodation, it'll have been more... When u start adding value to the company and he pays u peanut, you can start complaining...

BTW, if u were home doing nothing, just eating and sleeping n ur Popsy gave u 10k, no be to postrate de shout 'ese sir, ese Sir' undecided grin
Poor man mentality. You are talking about graduates not Agberos recruited from slums. If Shell invites you for just an interview they pay you transport allowance. How these guys are motivated will determine their output. There is something inherently wrong with the African man's mindset as regards remuneration. Not everyone who went for the training were unemployed. Read the OPs post well. The taste of the pudding is in the eating.
Politics › Re: Panic In Presidency Over Mounting Tension In Military - Talk Of Mutiny? by obyrich(m): 1:59pm On Jan 31, 2013
We have seen blood! We have seen death, tasted hunger and starvation. We have survived the greatest injustice ever meted out to any group in Nigeria. He that is down need fear no fall. The best and easiest way to actualize the dream of an independent Igbo state is to systematically destroy whatever is left of the rubbish contraption called Nigeria. Where were those people threatening mutiny and reminding us of 1966 when their brothers connived to loot the police pension fund? Who knows if the army pension fund is intact? Time will tell. All through the years the Igbos have been sidelined in this rat-hole of a country, where have these apostles of equity and fair-play been? Next time round we'll react like a wounded lion. Embarking on a crusade of calumny will neither cower Ejirika nor GEJ into stepping down. At a point in this country I thought the Armed forces was the exclusive reserve of the Northerners. Now I know better. The Igbo man is meant to work hard and do all sorts of dirty deals to survive while his Hausa or Yoruba friend has choice opportunities reserved for them. No one complains because its their fate. The same propaganda that was used to Remove Mrs Chinyere Uzoma is Rearing its head up again. This time round we aint taking it lying low!

ndujones: BIG LIE. He did more on sports. What have d present Gov done, so that he leave we will remember him
So he stole our mandate in Abia State for 8 years to 'do more sports'? He will only be admitted to PDP if he publicly admits that he is a political failure. He rode on the back of political grandmasters in the state to attain the heights he did. He thought he was smart. Now he wants to come back to his dung to feed? Orji Kalu is just a loud mouthed opportunist who, like the proverbial Eneke, challenged his Chi to a wrestling bout.

Gboliwe: You say 14 years is barely? Na wao.
14 whole years for a 4 or 5 year course? The witches in his village are involved
Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison to become the first black President of SA. Dont know who Saburi is, but mark my word he will be more successful in politics and in life than most people who graduated with first class in his set. He indeed is a hero.

he sends me credit like mad ,i now know and believe there is love until den keep searching and never give up hope grin smiley it might not come through the right route but like the calmness of the seas in the ocean you will find true inner peace your soul always quested for.
The day he stops sending airtime you join kimberluge et al in their vituperation on men. Let me tell you the plain truth, that guy will get bored with your beggarly attitude. Your 'love' for him is sustained on the money he spends on you. Another case of fake love. Have you sat down to think what you could do to make the man a better person?

234GT: Then that is bad of Dangote. Why would the so called richest man in Africa pay graduates 30k/month? I remember people were saying the drivers would earn 200k/month. That was at the inception of the program. @poster, did you guys get any appointment letter? If yes, what was written on it concerning pay?
I think its worst than what you think. He was paid 30k for the months which means he earned 10k per month!Until we hear from other trainees, we'll then know if truly Dangote thinks so lowly of Nigerian graduates.

Politics › Re: Yakubu Yusuf Rearrested Over Police Pension Scheme by obyrich(m): 8:56pm On Jan 29, 2013
andyanders: This is just to promote stealing in all government offices nationwide. We have a corrupt judicial system that encourages corruption. Everyone wants to steal no matter where they are from. Even the judge has compromised because he has collected his own share
Why not jail him to serve the 2 yrs without the option of fine. This regime has approved corruption to the highest level. If I have to steal billions and get only 2 yrs, and walk out free, why not. I will sit down and steal as much as I want. That will be what will be at the mind of any person going into any government job.
Going by the kind of judgments that emanate from our courts these days it appears the judges are untouchable demi-gods who are above the laws of the land. If that's not the case and there is a way of trying them in the law courts or sanctioning them, I think the judge who gave this judgment deserves good 'sharia' thrashing o say the least. The man has really tarnished whatever is left glittering on the image of the Nigerian judiciary.

Characteristics of a clueless nation. This Nation is gradually turning into a vampire's den. Soulless. My advice to you is if you can't get a job, join politics with red eye. Many people are making it big that way.Remain there until your time comes.Cut your own share and do plea bargaining. This nation had long been sold to the devil.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Who Stole $145M Pays Fine To Avoid Prison- Is This True? by obyrich(m): 3:47am On Jan 29, 2013
This particular incident if not properly addressed will lead to a serious revolution in corruption. It will imbue every privileged civil servant to steal. I'm sorry to say that the judiciary of present day Nigeria is the worst institution in the world. The culprit and the judge who handed down this judgment should be investigated for terrorist financing. Both are enemies of Nigeria and should be sued for treasonable felony.

Sweetlemon: If you look well, I'm actually talking girls learning to love themselves so as to get their men to love them. The thread is not about me.
There are so many hurting ladies around the place and I feel so bad knowing that while I'm deliriously happy, some other babe somewhere is wishing to die. I feel their pain cos I v been there and so I don't just want to keep my happiness to myself. I want to share it round my fellow women and make them see that they can even be happier if only they can first learn to love themselves.
Cheers!
Your argument is not balanced. Have you thought about many girls who break the heart of the guys who love them by cheating and flirting? Truth is no SANE guy will joke with a well behaved girl. If a guy is treating a girl like a poo I think the girl should do a thorough soul searching. As for you who brag about your many ex's asking you to come back and your current BED GUY whom you love dearly, my advice is check your behaviour! There is no guarantee you wont lose this one too. I'm sure what they are missing is your BED ACTIONS, maybe they've not been fortunate enough to get a better BED MISTRESS. Be wise.
