Romance › Re: Is It Right To Marry Someone That U Love, Not Working, Also Steals From U..... by obyrich(m): 4:32pm On May 22, 2013
Princess zoe: For the op to have asked this question it means that there is a mix up somewhere. Maybe the story posted here is half truth-half lie. Because if the story was intact, the man in question would have jilted the lady before now. There is another impression i would like to correct here. A woman working should not be the basic thing a man looks out for while choosing a wife. Is like a woman looking out for a wealthy man to be her husband and snobs the average or poor ones. Character, fear of God and compatibility should be the major traits. Whether she is working or not shouldn't be the case. She can secure an employment or start off a business when she is done with having babies or anytime after the wedding. That is why some men end up getting married to the wrong partners. And at the end of the day, the man will start cheating while the wife joins him in the game too. A man who centers his mind on "i must marry a business/working class lady" has 85percent chances of having a collapsed or unsettled marriage because he will be carried away during courtship by thinking that he has gotten a financial helper whereas he just signed a devasting marriage contract. Men be guided. Meanwhile not all men attach this occupation thing as a criteria in choosing a partner.
Can you marry a poor man with good character in preference to a rich guy who does not measure up character wise?

Politics › Re: Buhari: Insurgency hatched to destroy our economy by obyrich(m): 7:58am On May 21, 2013
Who created the insurgency? The chicken has come to roost, abi? Daura has been touched. Oga Buhari or BH whatever you call yourself keep the fire of insurgency burning. Now you know that their activities undermine development? I put it to you and your apologists that you are the mastermind behind this devilish and rebellious group. You created them to undermine development in the North so that you will have facts with which to discredit GEJ during campaign for the 2015 elections. You promised to make the North ungovernable for GEJ without realizing that you would be making life unbearable for your Northern brothers and sisters. Tell your brother, the emir, that the 'Desert Force 1' does not know who is emir or who is not. Tell him that soon his house will be searched thoroughly. Explain to him what a state of emergency means. Tell him that emergency situations do not pamper or honour regency. You guys asked for it. GEJ has magnanimously given it to you. Now we shall know who the real coward is.
Politics › Re: 2,000 Civilians Flee Borno To Niger Republic by obyrich(m): 10:25am On May 20, 2013
They are not Nigerians. They are citizens of Niger. Many BH guys are not Nigerians but foreigners from war torn West African countries. My suggestion to any resident of the affected areas is to cooperate maximally with the Nigerian armed forces. If it were only the Nigerian police, I'd advice them to run as fast as their feet could carry them. They should cash in on this opportunity to provide the military with information on BH. That way the war would be won sooner than expected.

Mine is boring due to the problematic situation which am passing through here In this camp. We are not eligible to go out from the camp unless we took permission. Its just like one staying in the prison But I believe by Gods grace i will extricate here soon. l don't have any relatives now whom l can go to all my relatives abscond in the middle of the war the only one l have now is Rev.Evans Tom who is the pastor of the (Christ The Light Churches ) here in the camp and also whom i have been using the computer in his office to write you,he has been very nice to me since i came here but i am not living with him rather i am leaving in the women hostel due to the camp have two hostels one for women & the other for men

the Pastors Tel number is (00221-774-587-244 )if you call tell him you want to speak with me, then he will send for me in the female hostel. As a refugee here i don't have any privilege to anything be it money or whatever because it is against the law of this country.I want to go back to my studies because i only attended my first year before the tragic incident that lead to my being in this situation now took place.

So i will like you to help me transfer this money to your account and from it you can send some money for me to get my traveling documents and air ticket to come over to meet with you.I kept this secret to people in the camp here the only person that knows about it is the Reverend because he is like a father to me.

Remember i am giving you all this information due to confident I confide on you. My dear lynpetra, Nigeria as it is today is a jungle. Everybody is struggling to survive, the president and law enforcement agents inclusive. Laws are there for the records and could be manipulated to protect the strong and mighty. No justice in the land. Many people may even attack you for reminding them what they have forgotten. Pray neither you nor anyone close to you falls victim to the pervasive wickedness and injustice in Nigeria. It's a pity.
Christianity Etc › Re: Strategies Pastors Use In Getting Followers: by obyrich(m): 12:19pm On May 19, 2013
Soon their foot soldiers will land to berate you. Brother, those men are undercover agents of the devil. One of them in Aba, was boasting on television how he killed a man who attempted to attack a member of his church by prayers. When the members cheered him, he boasted that he was not yet done with the killing. He went further to tell them he would kill the person preparing charms for the attacker and all else involved in the attack! I took aback in shock. Clearly many present day christians in Nigeria have totally lost it. They follow these men foolishly without questioning them. The bible said that the devil can disguise as an angel of light. At a point in the ministry of Christ, he got fed up with the hypocrisy of the pharisees and the Sadducees that he kept attacking them openly when he preached. Christ had to turn the table of money changers in the temple. He wasn't a docile law-abiding citizen. He was a meek radical who strongly believed in 'non-violent change'. He had the guts to challenge the opinion leaders at his time. But not so with these pastorpreneurs.

gramci: May be you didn't get it, there's is a difference collecting money from your husbands locker without permission and outright stealing. I have seen ladies that have acquired property without the knowledge of their husband.
The poster didn't furnish us with the details of the stealing. Don't be surprised that what you call 'taking money from your husbands locker' may be what the OP calls 'stealing'. Some men can be funny oo.
Family › Re: What Will You Do, If Your Wife Is Steals Your Money And She Is Caught by obyrich(m): 3:10pm On May 18, 2013
There is nothing like a wife stealing her husbands money in the first place. Marriage bonds husband and wife as one indivisible entity only to be separated physically by death.Your friend should learn to share his resources with his wife if he really means the business of marriage.

“the north must not repeat the silly mistake they made in 2011 by voting President Jonathan against their own interest.”
Clearly these people dont see Nigeria as one indivisible entity. In their mind Nigeria remains an amalgam of North and South. Nothing GEJ can do to appease these pigs. Professor Ango Abudullahi, please be bold enough to ask for break up. Ask for your own independent state. Stop thinking that you were born to rule. You had an opportunity to be educated but you denied your brothers the same opportunity. Your greed will consume you if you don't retrace your steps and guide the northern youths properly. You have turned your state to a war zone because of your greed.Posterity will judge you.

berem: Really? how is this Youwin program gonna provide jobs for 48 percent of unemployment youths in Nigeria? I heard th other day on the news according to statistics that 32 percent of the 48 percent are unemployable while 16 percent are. What plans does the government have for the unemployable youths and which categories of people fall under the unemployable?
Berem,my dear there is nothing like an "unemployable" person. We have jobs for unskilled labour even in the USA till tomorrow. It is only a callous and insensitive administration that will label a section of its youths "Unemployable". To me the word sounds more like a bar of prejudice against the unfortunate youths who do not have the wherewithal to acquire the necessary skills needed for white collar jobs. Government should be creative enough to make provisions for their training and not label them unemployable. If government cannot employ them, terrorist can. That word should be deleted from our economic dictionary fast.

Ngwakwe: Rejoice with those that made the list as if they were members of your family.

It's celebration time for them all and am happy for them.
Keep dancing Azonto until the "unemployable" youths (if there is anything like that) catch you. 1200 jobs is like a drop in the ocean if all the beneficiaries were drawn from among your Ngwa sisters. My dear brother, Much as I'd love GEJ to run for 2nd tenure, I won't celebrate YOUWIN as a sensible job creation strategy for the youths.

[quote author=eGuerrilla]In a country like Nigeria, where there is no clear separation between religion and state, if we are being honest, this particular grievance should not get much sympathy. For as long as prayer-warrior governors continue to mandate staff to fast on certain days of the week; and the President can build his own chapel or mosque, while retaining a plethora of prayer-SWAT teams and marabouts at the tax payer's expense; and banking CEOs - with hands firmly in the cookie jar of - can instruct subordinates to partake in liturgies not defined in their job roles, frankly, the issue you raised is a non-starter.

We all know a true federal system would address some of these seemingly intractable problems, yet we continue to elect politicians incapable of midwifing the alternative configuration required.[/quote

Joavid: whats going on??
suicide news everywhere
In a world where people are faking everything, impatient, living to please others, competing with near and remote rivals, selfish and loving pleasures too much, suicide and violent crimes will be the currency of the day. If only we could learn to be ourselves, and learn to consider others in our day to day decisions, if only we could lend a helping hand and give a listening ear to a brother/ sister in need. If only we could offer genuine advice and not make a mockery of people in need. If only we could be true friends. Who knows, he and others might have overcome the temptation to take their lives. Some folks are emotionally fragile despite wearing a bold facade. Truth is that life does not always give us what we bargained for.Truth is that life can be unfair at times. Whatever be the case, a reliable, dependable and comforting friend, brother, colleague could be a balm in Gilead who will soothe the pain in our hearts and win us back to this life. RIP Yinka.

Dont breakup until you've tried your best to make up. No perfect relationship exists anywhere. The girl is feeling the same way you are feeling. What really surprises me is how guys do uncanny things and make great sacrifices to woo a girl, but fail woefully when crises arise in the relationship.
