Tame your greed and you will not be scammed. I hate scammers. I wish I could help you track him. I once lost over 70k to a laptop scammer when I was in the University. Take heart bro. Just part of the realities of living in this lawless jungle called Nigeria. Predators everywhere.

ralfo85: It has been done to me, and when I expressed my displeasure the girl felt no remorse. She rather tried to explain why we are friend with the question: Or are we not friends? If I introduced you as "boyfriend how does that make things different?
I was in shock. But she felt she had done nothing wrong. What does that say of her?
What did you expect her to introduce you as? Lover? Boyfriend? Fiance? Special friend?

Your problem is your money. I can deduce you flaunt it everywhere to boost your ego. Many guys are attracted to you because of it. If you want to get a husband tighten your purse my dear, be less flamboyant and talk less of your achievements. Also, reorientate yourself on using gifts to attract men. Be prayerful and watchful as well. Real men hate it when the woman is the bread winner.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The CV That “works” In Nigeria – Adenike Fadina by obyrich(m): 7:26pm On Dec 06, 2012
Ngwakwe: In my Company, I don't really employ people based on the presentation or the volume of their CVs rather by grading their intelligent quotient. Half of the Jobs in Nigeria can be done by anybody with high IQ after brief training or even on the Job training.

Don't mind the voluminous thesis people call CV and University abused Script called Certificate.

Natural(talent) and Home acquired Intelligence is still an assets when combine with definite specialized training and education not forgetting industrial/workplace experience.

Always talk with your "would be" employee without minding the "papers" to ascertain his/her Intelligent Quotient before issuing an appointment letter.
God bless you! People forget that there are professional CV writers.

DaLover: Bihari is now a reference point for Islamist in this country, they look to him as a source of inspiration, he may not actively encourage them but imagine the belief and renewed vigor the Islamist would get if Buhari becomes president.

Secondly, lets ask ourselves how Buhari has run his party? How well and efficiently has he run a democratic institution? How well has he built a consensus amongst its leaders? Has he been able to build a party that attracts Nigerians with sterling leadership qualities, how have the CPc controlled lgas and states fared? Have they started casting wealth? Or still depending like leaches on Niger delta ol money?

Please I don't want to talk further cos I am getting really pissed
You are on point!

Christianity Etc › Re: Anointing Oil Used By Some Churches: Wrong Or Right. by obyrich(m): 8:12am On Dec 02, 2012
Goshen360: The oil usage and/or anointing is ONLY scriptural when used within the scriptural context. Dedicating a "special service" to oil wherein church people are asked to bring bottle of oil is nothing than a ritual and herbalistic practice in the body of Christ. It is not different from going to herbalist and get something to use. Now, I know you know the scripture but let's stay in context here.

First, Matthew 25:3 reads,

New International Version (©1984)
The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.

Second, Mark 6:13

King James 2000 Bible (©2003)
And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

Third,

New International Version (©1984)
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. - James 5:14

The oil is a symbol and signifies the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 61:1. In the scriptural verses of Matthew and Mark quoted above, the oil was symbol of the Holy Spirit for the Holy Spirit had not yet come until after the death of Christ. The story of shows believers need the Holy Spirit. The story of healing by the disciples shows AFTER demons are cast out of the possessed, they will need the Holy Spirit, otherwise, they will be open to another demonic possession.

The very case of James that many people quote and misapply out of context says,

Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. - James 5:14

Simple instruction - Call the elders! Today, everyone carry bottle of oil in their bags and wallets. Special anointing oil is conducted with special emphasis on oil from Israel in some cases. Some drink oil. Some Pastors sell "special oil" and all sort of madness going on with mere oil. In James 5:15, it is clearly written, NOT the oil that later saves the sick BUT RATHER THE PRAYER OF FAITH.

Lemme stop here for now so I don't worn you out with too many words...... cool
I'm not against the use of oil but I think further light should be thrown on what type of oil is approved by the scripture. Is palmoil permissible in case olive oil is not handy? I hope you guys know that there are some oil that can be used to enhance vision. Specially prepared and concencrated by spiritualists and copiously used by miracle workers to enhance their job.

Only foolish, greedy and corrupt folks are scammed this way. The bible specifically admonished people with the gift of the holy spirit to give it out freely as they had received freely. Therefore, anyone selling miracles is either a charlatan or an occultist trying to dupe weak minded 'christians'. The flock of Christ hear and obey the voice of the Master, Jesus Christ.

Before any Nigerian lady dives into this boat with Oprah Winfrey, ask yourself 'what has kept Oprah a single woman till date?' I'm sure the answer lies in this set of rules which she is selling out to you. Oprah is a bad loser as far as relationship is concerned and she wants people to go down with her. Only people who are successful in their marriage can clearly enunciate rules for a happy married life or relationship.

People dont even consider the average age at which people die(let say the average man who leaves long die at 7O,so that means the widow will likely remain unmarried from age 60 till she dies.)

Guy you reason like a diode. In a family, nobody knows who dies first. If a 70 year old man leaves a widow of 60 nothing is wrong with that. How many Nigerians live to up 70?

Politics › Re: Patrick Obahiagbon, On Nigerian Pastors And Private Jet by obyrich(m): 10:41pm On Nov 28, 2012
Pk001: Even the RF Matthew Kukah he is casting his vote in support is acting like a hypocrite. If he is sincere, the first person he should have attacked should be his boss the pope, who has more than one private Jet.

Anyway is not about the private Jet, cos those that gave the man of God the gift knew why the did it and they are not complaining.
Prophet Elijah actually told the widow to give her last bread to him, and at the long run she was the one that was blessed.

Same thing with Jesus. Why didn't he return the offering to the woman with the widow's might, since that was her last money? It is because he knew that she will be more blessed and her giving was only needed for the connection.

As I said earlier, those that gave knew why they gave. After all how much is a private Jet? Don't be surprised, Pastor Ayo can even be pastoring people that own private jets. So is it a crime if they get him one?

Person wey no get moni buy stout, e go talk say e bitter.
Read your bible between the lines. Christ did not collect offerings in his ministry. The 'widow's mite' offering took place in a synagogue where Christ attended.

Am zero silent on this issue of pastors with private jet for now. At least they are not contractors to the government, rather they have impacted more life's and spoken more HOPE to peoples depression due to the backpack of political sluts and national political prostitution exhibited by Pat and his likes.

Lets face it sad sad... How many lives have our political law makers ruins? due to their gluttony, their greed and lies which have been an opera of shame at international cycle. So many folks have turned to their pastors for words HOPE, encouragement. Why so that patriotism and the Nigerian dream of proper wealth creation can be made.

Well Pat should note am not impressed with his caricature. His not close to an activist for change.

Church leaders preach money and sowing of financial seed as the most effective way of accessing the blessings of the Almighty God. The robbers will share the money with their friends and well wishers in the society who will thank God for blessing their brothers. The man supplying arms to them may be an outstanding businessman who donates generously to the church or an Alhaji who is financing the the spreading of Islam. In Nigeria of today the Rich are celebrated, however they made it, while the honest people are ignored. The young man who wants to earn a living through honest means but needs mentorship and guidance is derided by the elders as lazy or dull while his friend who is ready to do anything to be rich is celebrated by all. In Nigeria today, nobody asks how did you make it before enjoying your loot with you. We walk the the streets of Nigeria today with our conscience buried in the sand! After all na Oluwa dey bless!
