If she and her family are comfortable receiving monetary and other forms of gift from another man, don't you think I should be worried.

You should be worried when the celebrate it to your face. Why can't they receive the money silently without letting you know if they need it that much. Tell your wife that you may start sending money too to your ex girlfriend parents if that's the new norm. She will get the message and advice her parents. Any day that guy comes back to the country, tie your wife rope or go another location with her. Some women no get sense.. She no mind to Nak the guy again as compensation.

My wife still keeps contact with her married ex. She says they parted peacefully so they are still friends.
I didn't have an issue with it.

But I recently found out he sends money and gifts to my inlaws and they are all so happy with that. Even celebrating this in my presence and saying I shouldn't be jealous or anything because their daughter knows she's married and their relationship was in the past.

This doesn't sit well with me.

I also know for a fact that my parents wouldn't accept unsolicited gifts from my ex or that of my siblings.

Marrying from poor home is not that good... When it goes with poor mentality, you are finished. Poor people are very vulnerable and they can be manipulated with small change.

No ex boyfriend will have the audacity to be sending money to a rich family.
