I had posted this before bt i didn't get any respond.
I'll really need your advice for a friend.
He came to my house asking me for advice/opinion. I told him i'll seek other people's opinions online nd get back to him.
He is a graduate of Geography from the univesity of Ibadan nd has just completed his NYSC. He wants to go for his masters degree immediately in the same university.
He's actually looking at Msc in DISASTER MANAGEMENT. But he wants to seek further opinion on the course. How lucrative nd good is the course in the Nigeria system.
Furthermore, he wants to also know if there are other good alternative courses that he can go for in the field of Geography.
Please, i'll really love anyone in the house with a good experience of this to help out.

Why nt? U can even make a strong upper self if nt first class. U still have up to 4 semesters left na. It's just a matter of being serious. Read more, nairaland less, leave babes, chicks, baes, ladies, girls, women alone 4 nw. Spent less time forecasting nairabet, bet9ja. Less facebook, twitter, istagram, baddo etc. Watch less movies, Play less game. Reduce ur sleeping period. Leave unproductive friends 4 nw or associate with them less.
In all, make library ur primary hostel. Attend classes, do and submit assignments nd projects, ask questions, participate in group readings nd group projects/assignments.
U re very close to upper. Aim for atleast 4 points every semester.

Let me bare an unbiased opinion about this since it appears the wailers are simply too dumb to engage on in any constructive and intelligent argument- all I've been hearing are insults and "apologise to Jonathan".

No Wailer has been able to ask one a very IMPORTANT question regarding one VERY OBVIOUS ANOMALY surrounding this whole "subsidy removal/deregulation" stuff, and that question is: if the government had earlier claimed that they subsidise petrol by about N17 per litre, then why on earth isn't fuel selling for approximately N103 per litre ( ie 86+17) as against N145 or the N120 allegedly being proposed now??

Wailers, make una try get small sense so una go fit put us, and perhaps, the government, on our toes. Throwing insults around and getting tens of likes wouldn't get you lot anywhere.

Government needs to tell us why it is 145 and not 103.

for those of you on nairaland supporting subsidy remove, i say may thunder fire all of u.
Subsidy removal has caused ripple effects in every sector of the economy including education.
Buhari nd Apc had strongly, consistently nd continously told us there was nothing like subsidy.
Even if u want to remove subsidy, ensure their are measures to atleast absorb some of the shocks on the people.
Nt when the economy nd everywhere in d country dey hard nd is competing with sahara nd sahel deserts in terms of dryness.
