Politics / Obama And Cheney Are Related! by ochocinco1(m): 12:26pm On Oct 18, 2007 |
The wife of Dick Cheney in researching for her memoirs discovered that her conservative husband was a distant cousin of the black liberal Barack Obama. Considering much of the black electorate already consider him not 'black enough', this can only heighten their 'suspicions'. What do you lot think? |

I recently saw this programme called GBEDU. The lady presenting it caught my attention. Can't remember her name now. But she epitomized that Naija beauty for me, understated and unpretentious. The girl fine abeg. Any one else agree? |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by ochocinco1(m): 12:30pm On Oct 14, 2007 |
Personally I do not see Barca spending big bucks to go for Fabregas. They are adequately covered in that area with Deco, Iniesta, Xavi and Yaya Toure. Marquez can also play central midfield if the need arises. And besides Barca seem to produce these sort of 'possession' midfielders at will from their Academy. It just doesn't make any sense spending big bucks to get him. Only sentimental value cause he is Catalan. |
Sports / Re: Who Is More Popular, David Beckham? Or Tiger Woods? by ochocinco1(m): 6:51am On Oct 14, 2007 |
David Beckham is definitely more popular. Golf is still very much a niche sport, so his Woods' penetration is hampered by his sport's relative unpopularity compared to Football. |
Politics / Re: Ekiti Rules Sent Abroad: See Nigeria's Dividends Of Democracy! by ochocinco1(m): 6:32am On Oct 14, 2007 |
@Davidylan I am sure this isn't the first instance of government profligacy and it sure as hell wouldn't be the last. Only Nigerians understand how they arrange their own priorities. We can only but observe from afar. But it is obvious the crappy schools, lack of water, PHCN and poor health structures are far far down on the list. Surely after about two years, we will hear about this road and that road the Governor spent inflated amounts to construct or repair. Like say na that one we go chop. |
