Chartey:since you fails to understand me, no problem. I'm non apologetic about that. if I didn't acknowledge the doctors effort I wouldn't have gone back to the extent we became friends. |
[quote author=Chartey post=61052088]I don't want to sound insensitive but I feel you should credit the doctors who operated on you to save you in the nick of time rather than praise and worship. If they didn't, no praise and worship would have saved you. You got me wrong by saying I sounded insensitive, that's not true just that I don't want to go in detail, after the surgery we became friends with the doctor that handled my case. But what would you say about the hospitals that rejected an emergency patient even at Lasuth I was begging the doctors to help attend to me that I was dying and i was really dying because I couldn't endure the pain any longer but I was told there was no space, don't you think I could have died before I got to Obalande? Like I said I bleeded for about 3 hours or even more from 11.45pm till around 3am unattended to, if not that it wasn't yet my time, doctors couldn't have saved me. |

The most traumatised moment was on 9/11/2013 when my brother died right before me at Lasuth Ikeja after 23 days of sleepless nights with him in the hospital, going for dialysis at Dialysier Oshodi twice a week. Rest on Francis. The most scared moment was on 7/8/2012, when I had ruptured tube ( Ectopic pregnancy) around 11.45pm and about 3 hospitals rejected me from Mobonike Dopenu to Lasuth Ikeja down to General hospital Agege and finally Island maternity were the surgery was carried out within the space of 30 minutes because I was already weak. my BP went down as low as 55/45. I bleeded for about 3 hours, and l passed away. I thought I was dead but God being so kind brought me back to life through praise and worship song I heard from the background. I opened my eyes and told my husband who was bedside me that I'm alive. I'm trying so hard to forget this 2 events but no way. |
You can do your masters with 3rd even in Unilag, I had 3rd class Civil engineering UNN and I did my masters direct without any PGD in civil and environmental engineering (Water Resources option) unilag 2011 set. I went and pick PGD form, even wrote the exam and passed, then when I went for my registration, I was told I can do my masters direct provided I've up to 2.40 cgpa, that was how I switched over to MSc direct from PGD. |

@Fvine, You're wonderful and I pray God grant each and everyone of us here our heart desires before the year ends. I just find out PCO and PCOS are not the same, what I actually had was PCO. |
@Fvine, thank you so much for the detailed answer you gave to my report. I'm doing this Hormone profile the first time this year but what I did before was TRANSVAGINAL SCAN REPORT, which reads; UTERUS: A normal size empty uterus measuring 50*36mm in length and width respectively with homogenous myometrial echopattern. The endometrial plate measures 7mm in thickness. The cervix is normal. OVARY: Both ovaries are seen (the right measuring 42*21*27mm and the left measuring 35*21*28mm in length, width and height respectively) with numerous (>10) rudimentary follicles arranged peripherally giving the typical 'honey comb' appearance indicative of Polycystic ovaries. ADNEXAE: NO masses POUCH OF DOUGLAS: There is no significant pelvic fluid collection seen. IMPRESSION: Polycystic Ovaries. Reproductive Hormone Profile Advised. My Doctor advised me to go for the Hormone Profile that I just posted the result yesterday. |

@Op, let me share something you'll like to hear with you and those that cares to. I served my NYSC, 2008/2009 with procurement department Federal Inland Revenue Service at their Revenue house in Abuja, at the end of our service year few of us kept going there but later left expect one girl that refused to go. It will interest you to know that she's a staff of FIRS since 2012 till date. During the 2012 recruitment exercise, she was the first to be considered in that department and she finally got the job. Why I'm saying this is that since going there doesn't prevent you from doing your da to day chore, I don't see it as a bad idea because staying at work is not an option. That's my candid advice. |

There's this my husband's half brother we've been helping since his secondary school days till 2013 when he sat for his ssce, and to the glory of God he made his papers at one sitting, sat for jamb 2014 and got admission to study Estate management at Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, the issue now is that things are very rough for i and my husband at the moment that we can not afford his registration fee due to circumstances beyond our control. My husband lost his father last year and he was buried on 10th of January, 2015 and 2 weeks after the burial he lost his mother after spending so much on her health and she is yet to be buried. The boy in question just did his matriculation last week thursday,so he managed to pay his acceptance fee 10k and other little things with the little money he saved but the main issue now is the school fees which is about 37k and accommodation 20k and they will soon start their semester exams and without the registration he won't be able to seat for the exam even his test and assignment but to be honest our hands are very tie right now but if you guys can assist him at this stage, I promise to continue because things will soon normalise. Even the boy himself is a hard working boy, he does brick laying jobs etc to assist himself most times. Please, no amount is too small, your widows mite can go along way to help him. Thank you and God bless as you help. |
@Larrysun, please can you still remind the moderator, to move this to front page for the public to read and, possibly, help. Thank you. @ all that have commented so far, is not that anybody will die if we didn't get the money from our elder brother just that we want to clear our doubts in case of a thing like this in the future. |

After going through all the posts on this tread, I found out that am an introvert no matter what. But when I was much younger I was an extrovert if I'm not mistaken, because I did everything a teenager supposed to do unlike a man on this tread that said his little son like staying alone. During my collage days I practised lesbian even in my early days in the university may be because of the kind of friends I kept them but at my year 2 I stopped it, though I can't tell how it happened may be when I dropped my bad friends but I thank God for everything. I noticed am an introvert when I could not speak in public, express myself well, always withholding to myself, so scared of making mistake, i rather be shivering when talking in public than been bold. when I defended my project during my undergraduate days, it was too obvious that my supervisor had to intervene I wonder what would've happened that day. I think I've really improved a bit because my husband is an extrovert but I still keep to myself a lot even at that, on the issue of making friends hmmm, I rather stay indoor with my phone and PC from morning till nite even a whole year than making a friend or visiting, as am writing now I don't have any friend and am not bordered about it. Last week I defended my MSc project, even when I know how i carried out my research work, saying it before my Lecturers & colleagues became an issue though I was able to say something but not the way it have been. I actually think am an introvert from birth just that friends influenced me as a teenager may be because of the environment I found myself then but I became real me at adult days when nobody could influence me any longer . |

basically the tampon is good for general female hygiene and for cleaning the tubes and uterus to help discharge whatever might be there and to prepare your womb for conception, ladies with pcos should also try it as it will help reduce androgen secretion and return your hormones to a normal level and help your ovaries to function properly.....its just one of those TTC routine. the bible says in Ephesians, having done all to stand..Stand therefor...... when you are sure you have done all, focus more on God and dont be distracted. His Grace is sufficient enough to see us through this TTC journey.....learn to fast as well, outside the spiritual benefits of fasting, there are some physical benefits as well but for TTC women, do more of 6-12 fast and if you want to go beyond that, try to drink water in between.
