Here are a few objective facts to buttress my point:
I disembarked from the SAME plane @ about 2pm that afternoon when it arrived into Abuja. If we allow about 50mins for passengers to disembark and get the plane
cleaned, refueled and re-loaded, it would have taken off back to Lagos @ c.2.50pm. The crash happened at about 3.43pm - about 3mins to landing. The flight time for that route (which I do @ least 2ce a week) is 55mins. Meaning that sadly, the ill-fated flight was into its 52nd/53rd minute when it went down. Where therefore do the 2hrs waiting for VIP movement come in?? My dear friends, it is important that we do not make the situation any worse for the bereaved by

Our attention has been drawn to the orchestrated plan to politicize the Sunday Dana Air crash in Lagos in which many people lost their lives, through rumours about the possible cause of the accident citing VIP movement involving the wife of the President.

We consider it callous, inhuman and devilish for anyone to have thought of wrapping such national calamity in political garb by insinuating that the plane crashed because the airspace was closed for the First Lady's movement in Lagos.

For the avoidance of doubt, the First Lady arrived Lagos at about 2pm on Saturday, 2nd June, 2012 for a private engagement and was billed to leave for Abuja on Monday, 4th June, 2012.

In compliance with her itinerary, the First Lady arrived Lagos on Saturday. She was at a public event on Sunday when the accident occurred and promptly abandoned the ceremony as a mark of respect for the victims and retired to the State House, Marina. She left Lagos at exactly 13.15hrs on Monday, 4th June, 2012, according to schedule.

It is therefore surprising that some mischievous persons will see this moment of National mourning as an opportunity to blackmail and impugn the First Lady's integrity.

This is the time for all Nigerians to be sober and pray for the repose of the souls of the victims and not a time to subordinate the interests of our nation to narrow self-serving interests.

Let us all put the interest of the Nation first in whatever we do.

Mrs. Jonathan had no intention to travel on Sunday and never did. Like all Nigerians, she has been mourning the dead.

sorry to say but the Album wasnt bad. however, 9ice's dpuble album released last year made more waves than this 2face's album. i remember i couldnt get 9ice's albums to buy that same day cos every vendor complained that the albums had sold out. he even trended on twitter for mre than a week.
it is disheartening that 2face's singles aint rocking already but fact is, his music would grow on us. its a pity that Nigerians are killing good music. if it had been Wizkid who released an album, it would hve been everywhre.

Mo’Hits pair D’Banj and Don Jazzy are on the brink of splitting up due to creative and personal differences. A source close to both parties has revealed that the relationship between the two is now so fractured that Don Jazzy has since moved out of the mansion they once shared in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

Don Jazzy, according to the source, has become so frustrated with D’banj’s lifestyle, tantrums and unmanageable ego that he refuses to work with him. D’Banj, for his part, feels Don Jazzy is spending more time honing the careers of the Mo Hits fledglings such as D’Prince and Dr. Sid. He has also accused Don Jazzy of delaying his album release by giving “excuse after excuse.”

“D’Banj has an album due this year,” the source said. “He wants Don Jazzy to spend all his time working on his own album. Can you believe that Don Jazzy spent only two days working on Wande’s new singles?”

Although tensions have simmered between the once inseperable maestros for about two years, things went quickly downhill last year following the deal signed with G.O.O.D music, Kanye West’s record label. An investigation revealed that the terms of the agreement are far more in favour of the producer, Don Jazzy, a realization which has irked the artist. The source confirmed the disparity in the deal’s structure and revealed that D’Banj’s involvement is peripheral which has led to major problems between the two. The deal also involves a financial commitment of up to $3M, which Mo’Hits has not yet fully made up.

“When we all celebrated the deal last year, little did we know that it was really Don Jazzy that was being signed up,” the source said. “While Don Jazzy has already produced a track for G.O.O.D Music, D’Banj is just waiting around idly.”
