PoliticsRe: Atiku Is A Disgrace To Nigerians by Odeku(op): 6:32pm On Oct 03, 2006
jas_o are you saying they suffer more than any other tribe in Nigeria? poverty is obvious in any local government area you go to in Nigeria, and this is why me friends and I disagree, kidnapping and killing of innocent people will do nothing but escalate the issue, and in the end, they will lose all credibility you can not seek resolution by kidnapping. why is this so hard for people to see? In that case, just like someone said, if they want to cry, start by calling IBB, Umaru Dikko, and all the former minister of petroleum to account for the revenue generated from this region.
PoliticsRe: Dan Etete Exposes Atiku Abubakar And Others by Odeku(m): 6:19pm On Oct 03, 2006
and who said there is no dirty politics? why are all this allegation coming out in the heap of election?
PoliticsRe: Solution To The Niger Delta Crisis? by Odeku(m): 6:00pm On Oct 03, 2006
Good point, and my question is still unanswered, MR obong are you justifying this kidnapping and killing of soldier as a means of getting attention in this region? you can't compare apple to orange. the issue in South Africa is totally different than the one in Niger Delta, corruption is not the same thing as suppression, what are the senators from this region doing? what is the governor doing, this people were elected to speak for the people, and yet they haven't done a good job. so if you want to kill someone or kidnap someone, go after IBB, your governor, and the senators.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Odeku(m): 5:53pm On Oct 03, 2006
Bingo, and that is why people are scared, and trying to prevent this from happening at all cost.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Need A Foreigner, Nigeria in diaspora To Be A President by Odeku(op): 4:51pm On Oct 03, 2006
Havila good point must I must disagree with you on some terms, how is the name diaspora different from African American? and to say some of us preffer for out children not to speak out native language is so incorrect, most of the Nigerians In Chicago born in the state actually do speak fluently like you will not believe, but i still see your point in having a president that is familiar with the issues in Nigeria, but is it possible to have a credible, honest politician in Nigeria? look at the governors, local government council men all mismanaging funds, could you attribute this to lack of exposure and education? or is it just mere greed?
PoliticsRe: Solution To The Niger Delta Crisis? by Odeku(m): 4:16pm On Oct 03, 2006
beside the mismanagement of the $12 billion by IBB. come to Lagos and see how people are suffering and smiling, 99 standing in Molue and 25 sitting. you don't see us going out killing and kidnapping people do you?

any act of abduction is barbaric and will never get your point across, its an act of terrorist and since they are resulting to killing and kidnapping , we as Nigeria should give them a taste of their own medicine and see how they like it. Bombaclot.

Jokes EtcOnce Upon A Time: by Odeku(op): 3:20pm On Oct 03, 2006
Once  upon a time there lived a king.
The king had a beautiful  daughter,

The  PRINCESS.

But  there was a problem.  Everything the princess touched would  melt.

No  matter what;

metal,

wood,

stone,

Anything  she touched would melt.

Because  of this, men were afraid of her.  Nobody would dare marry  her.

The  king despaired.  What could he do to help his daughter?

He  consulted his wizards and magicians.  One wizard told the  king,

"If  your daughter touches one thing that does not melt in her  hands,

She  will be cured."

The  king was overjoyed and came up with a plan.

The  next day, he held a competition.  Any man that could bring his  daughter an
object that would not melt would marry her and  inherit the  king's wealth.

THREE YOUNG PRINCES TOOK UP  THE CHALLENGE.

The  first brought a sword of the finest steel.

But  alas, when the princess touched it, it melted.

The  prince went away sadly.

The  second prince brought diamonds.

He  thought diamonds are the hardest substance in the world and would  not melt.
But alas,
once the princess touched them, they  melted.

He  too was sent away disappointed.

The  third prince approached.   He told the princess,
"Put your  hand in my pocket and feel what is in there."

The princess  did as she was told,  though she turned  red.

She  felt something hard.  She held it in her  hand.

And  it did not melt!!!

The  king was overjoyed,     Everybody in the kingdom was  overjoyed.

And  the third prince married the princess and they both lived happily  ever after.

Question:   What was in the prince's pants?
(Scroll  down for the answer)

V

M&M's  of course.
They  melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
What  were you thinking??

PoliticsRe: Atiku's Aide Shot Dead By Police by Odeku(m): 3:12pm On Oct 03, 2006
scribe I understand your ordeal, but the question I have for you, did you file a complaint with the commissioner of police/ the DPO? or the force headquarters? we cant just assume nothing will be done in this cases, but one person has to file a complaint and with routine complaint on the same office, someone will eventually get the picture.
PoliticsRe: Solution To The Niger Delta Crisis? by Odeku(m): 2:51pm On Oct 03, 2006
ishmael , How can you kidnap the person you can't see? this region and their action is becoming intolerable you don't go ahead and start killing the messenger of peace, this soldiers that were killed were doing their job, this are someones kid, someones husband and the action of this militants is barbaric. i am curious what is the population of this region? why can't the chief of Army staff send in battalions and flush the whole town out once and for all, send a clear message that there will be sever consequences when you kill military boys.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Odeku(m): 2:24pm On Oct 03, 2006
Bigb1, its not unrealistic. there is only one reason one single person can never see the wrong doing of IBB, you are either a kin to him, or a secrete lover. so please tell us which os is it before we read about it in the paper? so if I may ask you how do you like the development in Ekiti and Plateau. 2 governors will be forced out before Friday
PoliticsRe: Solution To The Niger Delta Crisis? by Odeku(m): 1:41pm On Oct 03, 2006
Why does the presidency keep tolerating this miscreate treatment from this people? why can't we as a nation deal with this issue ones and for all, I do not condole innocent killing but this people are creating havoc in this region.
