zenopee: I wonder whether I share similar ideas with other people, but I believe that the presidential media chat was a complete sham, and a complete waste of time. I expected more, but Jonathan dissapointed me. If I would rate it, I would rate it poor.
All along, it seems the president doesn't have a clear grasp of happenings, developments and events within the country. And regarding the few issues raised during the chat, he sounded like the issues were quite trivial, and this are burning national issues that expedite actions.
To me overall, the media chat was a complete waste of time and resources, it shouldn't have held. And from all indications it wouldn't change anything.

The truth is that if not for Gov Amaechi the great minds,intellectual and professionals like late Ken Saro Wiwa,late Prof claude Ake,Late Dr Cookey and many others dead and alive would not have attained any education but for Gov Amaechi govt there were no Schools in Rivers state-Rivers indigenes attended school in Beyelsa and Ogun states;besides,there we're no hospitals anywhere in Rivers people depended only on local herbs-thanks to Gov Amaechi hospitals that STOP Rivers people from dying. Even with that, our Airspace still suffers from airline pirates reason being that for any aeroplane to pass tru Nigeria, they must pay a certain amount to NAMA, which as am speaking its not being done cos NAMA couldn't capture all the aeroplanes plying our airspace.

Total Radar Coverage Of Nigeria(TRACON) was deployed to do this job effectively, yet our airspace is still susceptible to illegal air pirates. Infact, as am typing this, Ghana still collects money on our behalf for every aeroplane dat flies across Nigeria's territorial seas in the atlantic ocean. How could Ghana be collecting the money on our airspace route which covers some nautical miles in the atlantic ocean?

Up till now, whenever an aircraft crashes, its always a problem to locate where the crash site is. And am very sure some of us would be supporting the Minister of Aviation because we are just novice when it comes to aviation. Our airspace is still porous as before.
