Sadly, THIS IS ALL DONE BY NIGERIANS!
Granted, ECOWAS/CEDEAO charter allows for free trade between member states, but on goods produced in member countries, and NOT on imports from other economic blocs.

Where foreign goods are transiting through a member country, and ending up in another member country, the ECOWAS charter stipulates that the country of transit MAY collect a token trade tax, and its Customs officials should then escort the goods to the border of the importing country and hand it over to the Customs officials of the importing country!

But what we see in the case of Benin Republic is that it collects CUSTOMS DUTY plus TRADE TAX, and then allows the goods to pass through its hinterland for onward smuggle into Nigeria!

This is a clear violation of ECOWAS statutes and no nation can condone such costly infraction.

Nigeria has tolerated this nonsense from Benin for far too long and it is time to stop the malpractice if we want Nigeria's economy to grow.

Therefore, whoever cries foul because we have closed our borders to smugglers while we're putting our act together, IS AN ENEMY OF NIGERIA!.

Nigeria makes up about 74% of ECOWAS population and about 71% of its economy. It is ECOWAS that needs Nigeria and not the other way round!

This is known by the Al-hadith Scholars and students of knowledge. Of what importance is the basic of classifying Hadith Saheeh/ Do'eef relevant here?

I don't think i need to mention (m)any lecture. I just watched one of his lecture right now wherein he was telling his listeners that Baba Tajudeen Al-Adabi usually prayed Subhi, Zuhr, Asr, Magrib and Ishaa at Makkah from Nigeria! He was even given out his usual ''Asiri". He was just speaking about miracles of some Baba. It's online. I can't share evil here. He was also promoting "Hisab" and kept talking as if he had authority over the knowledge of the unseen. 100% of what i watched in this lecture has no benefit to any conscious Muslim except a Tagged Muslim that is more Kafir than Muslim.

Also his lecture about Salat al Fathi being greater than Salah is widely popular online!

Now Sheik Sulaiman, another student of Sheik Adam is evil because he is preaching what your scholars don't know ( Qurian Teaching).

I read through one of your comments here on nairaland, trying to lecture someone on "indoctrination" without single quote from The Holy Qurian except references from hadith written by scholars who arrived many years after Prophet Mohammed (SAW). Not every muslim can practice islam the way you do. I am also Alu Sunnah because I am a follower of the Prophet but not an extremist like you.

Even almighty Allah ( SWTA) said in the Holy Qurian that "only the wise ones will understand his words" . I understand you are your scholars do not belong to the category of hulu li'albab and thats the reason you chose to stick to hadith written by men. With your mentality and exposure, you will never understand the preachings of those two reknown preachers (Sheik Habib and Sheik Sulaiman), They both preach with the holy Qurian.

The Lagos State Government has directed that the Second Mid-Term break for all schools should hold on Friday, March 8, 2019.

According to a statement issued by the State Ministry of Education, all public and private schools in the state are expected to close on Thursday, March 7, 2019, and resume on Monday, March 11, 2019.
This statement noted that it became necessary to correct the wrong impression in some quarters that schools will not open on Thursday, March 7, 2019.
It stated further that the break is to ensure all students and pupils are in their respective homes during the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections that will hold on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

A trigger-happy police officer has just shot a bus driver dead in Mosan, Ayobo area of Lagos State.

According to an eyewitness, the police officer shot the driver because he refused to give the police money.

Narrating the incident to SaharaReporters, Sodimu Johnson, one of the eyewitnesses, said: “The officers were trying to collect money from the driver, but he did not give them. One of them shot the driver and when they saw that he was dead, they tried to run away.

“The bus conductor and other passers-by chased them and were able to catch two of the officers. We held them and were trying to force them to carry the corpse to their station.”

Another eyewitness stated that one of the officers shot at people to clear the way so they could escape, but the people stood their ground.


“One of the officers shot sporadically into the air to disperse the crowd and clear way for themselves to escape from the scene of the incident, but we stood our ground and did not allow them to leave. We were able to disarm the two of the officers.”

Johnson said the police stormed the area with reinforcement and left with the officers involved in the act.

“Presently, some police officers have come to the area and have taken the body, conductor and the two officers away.

“They reinforced and came with some officials of the NSCDC to rescue the two officers. They harassed those who were recording the incident, seized their phones and also arrested them. They were taken to Area P Police station at Ayobo.”

Chaos has erupted in Rivers State after the result for the presidential election was declared on Tuesday evening.

Enefiok Essien, the state collation officer, declared the results, three days after the collation exercise started in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The collation exercise ended in chaos as agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) protested the deletion of the controversial Emohua Local Government Area (LGA) results.

Out of the 23 LGAs in the state, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won 14, while President Muhammadu Buhari won three, after Emohua LGA was removed.

Elections in some areas were also cancelled as a result of electoral malpractices and violence.

According to the figures released by INEC, valid votes were 642,165; rejected votes were 24,420, and total votes cast were 666,585.

APC polled 150,710 votes while PDP secured its win with 473,971.
