Saraki had ruined himself........ The siren of ambition drove Saraki. He wanted to be Senate President, the third most powerful man in Nigeria. But the crisis he failed to anticipate was the natural character comparison that would result from his proximity to the upright duo of Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo in the power echelon If Saraki were to resign today, he would be doing himself a favor. To date, half of the Senate membership considers him as an impostor...... Now, the Nigerian Senate is not the congregation of honest people. In fact, it has – almost as a default configuration – a quota of characters that represent the cream of criminality. Today’s Senate boasts a pedophile (Sani Yerima) and a fugitive drug baron (Buruji Kashamu) as ‘’distinguished’’ members. The makeup of Saraki’s Senate is not much different from the one that had prompted ex-Deputy Inspector General of Police, the late Nuhu Aliyu, to lament, in the midst of a plenary session, that he was forced to share camaraderie with the fraudsters he investigated while in service. Saraki, from his central role in bankrupting his daddy’s bank to his two terms as Governor of Kwara State, had accumulated a streak of blemishes.... Saraki is possessed of the delusion that he can wait this Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) saga out. He believes that if he stays resilient, the storm will fade eventually. And he will convalesce from the nightmare strong and ready to win the Presidency in 2019! Saraki has always wanted to be President. He has come close to it as the Senate President, the number three man. He reasons it would be easier to snatch the ultimate seat from this vantage spot. This is hoping against hope. The reality is that his days in national prominence have expired. On June 9, 2015, Saraki – according to the horse’s own mouth – ingeniously smuggled himself into the National Assembly Complex at 6.00 am and hibernated at the car park, a clear four hours ahead of the scheduled commencement of the inauguration of the eighth Senate. As a public servant, Saraki needs to exit the Office of the President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without delay. In his current position, Saraki has become public nuisance..... We need a break from Saraki’s intrusive movie. We can’t keep on watching the saturation coverage of the criminal trial of the ‘’Senate President.” He needs to separate himself from that title and sort himself out. An entire nation cannot continue to pay him the tribute of compulsory attention. Even if he doesn’t care about the sensibilities of the public, Saraki should resign as a personal favor to himself. He increasingly humiliates himself as he struggles to retain relevance amidst serious charges. He needs to resign urgently. While clinging to his leadership position, Saraki, the accused, drags the Senate along – like the tortoise dragging its shell – and uses the institution as his shield. He needs to step aside........... /
|
BALLOSKI:You said it all....... |
Why can't Saraki just go and prove his "innocence"!? Why are these dusts being raised when he can easily go to CCT with facts and prove his case..... Why are Mr Saraki's sympathizers desperately ignoring or avoiding the above questions? Is Sakari bigger than Nigerian Law? That may have been in the last regime when "mere stealing wasn't corruption" but not anymore... One huge THIEF exposed, others will be getting ready |
These are sort of men/women our flawed and massively rigged elections throw to our faces as leaders.... ....In a sane Clan, Mr Saraki should have resigned honorably but here in Nigeria...he is still shamelessly parading his dirty ass in our faces. My question is: "Mr Saraki did you steal the monies? and why are you avoiding the courts?" |
For those of us who followed PMB through thick and thin for over 8 years; this is our finest hour and the entire Nigerians will be happier by the time he finishes.... .....except, of course; those who had perfected how to mortgage our common wealth for the next.."God knows when" but suddenly found themselves in the wilderness... Cry me a river, you thieves but the "new sheriff in Town" isn't there for some tea party... |
This sort of massive thievery can only be exposed under PMB's watch ..... Nigeria may not turn around overnight but will surely get there...let's all join hands and support President Buhari |
May God continue to keep pur fearless President....Gone are the days when some weaklings are in Aso Rock and thieves breath down on Nigerians with reckless abandon. Mr Saraki should not be 'afraid' to face the law court; *******except there are hidden issues that are being excavated....****** |
Whoever wrote this should be a comedian...... His imagination is quite hilarious ...... |
Enough of these mind bugling "discoveries"... Let's begin to see these criminals facing trails in the Courts.... Could it be that Ex-President GEJ was so gentle, weak and with little or absolutely no guts....!? ..How could you have allowed this Madueke woman to rub Nigeria this much....under your watch!? If this is true; I am.not impressed, Uncle Jona....! |
j1mmy:Kindly don't quote me in your tribal stupidity, because people like you Just make me feel so bad about this Country and the future...... ....but the exciting thing is that those of you who do NOTHING will keep hating and generalising so senselessly while the determined Nigerians, regardless of tribes; will get to the top ladder, so legitimately. |
The surprising thing is that there are still others will will go ahead and swallow these "death pills" for few plates of porridge . This has nothing to do with poverty but bent state of mind.... |
While we all hate corruption and those that openly swim in it; I strongly feel that a mischievous person used the young man's name and picture to open a twitter Account just for these trash..... If the boy actually posted these( I doubt ); then the sooner his dad gets him a Psychiatric doctor, the better....... |
Prof Utomi !? ..... I can't wait........ |
Apart from issues of security, most state governments have little or no need for these Jets. It all boil down to the gross insensitivity of the State first Citizens who mostly are busy thinking of how to make themselves very comfortable for 8 years while their citizenry gnash their teeth in pains of hunger... **That Nigerian leadership situation at state/local governments level needs to be thoroughly looked at, is an understatement**** |
A rather Frank and brave statement but let serious positive actions follow it..... |
Each time I read news like this; the word 'CASTRATION' takes center stage in my mind... |
"what a dream!".... |
OP; don't you think whoever that spent money for you to acquire education will be disappointed? ....Because no SANE folk will read and believe this and not to think of sharing the poorly written piece of crap |
For Mr Fashola to have completely kept mute despite all unwarranted and underserved attacks on him; my admiration for him soared.... 10 Ambodes will never be any match for Mr Fashola.... ...Time shall tell.... The task of governing Lagos, or any state; is a FULL time job.....Gov Ambode should sit up and try to keep up the developmental tempo his predecessor set. |
I think I am just loving the fearlessness in PMB. We have a man with 'balls' in Aso Rock and he is rightly moving towards breaking Nigeria free from THIEVES |
I can't remember the last time I read a pathetic comment as this.... ALISMILE:Your poor empty soul is so pitiable and my heart bleeds for innocent children that will be forced by their blind parents or guardians to be with FOOLS like you |
For once, we have a President who realises what it mean for ALL 'bucks to stop at his table' without any pettiness.... The level of disorganized Polity he inherited require even more than these bits of firmness because that will be the ONLY fair solution to the present disheartening rot in our dear Country. |
....This is INJUSTICE....how can this murderer be left alive......needless saying that a President in few years times may set him free.... He should have been sent straight to "meet the 72 virgins prepared for people like him" wherever that is.... |
When people like OP and his "killerpunch" source chose to waste their time on Pres Buhari; stories as these are to be expected.... |
.......People like this should be castrated! .... |
Can we all join hands and pray for OP....."Quick recovery oh Lord we ask you to grant him......." |
OP, on a Monday when people are busy with their various legitimate means of earning income; you were in the bush, doing what!? .... Rehearsing a movie script or comedy-drama? |
Wow! .... The truth is that PMB invited GEJ to personally teach him how to handle a pistol because PMB is afraid of governing Nigeria and fears he may be attacked and I reliably gathered that GEJ gave him lots of lessons on not just military hardware procurement but their handling too. *Tanoids....are you happier now? |
This is the voice of Ken but that body is that of Wike (sorry, Abel) |
