Politics › Re: 2027; End Of The Road For Asiwaju As Key Northerners Won't Support Him! by Ofemannnu: 6:41am On May 19, 2024
Bigkoko:
This is certainly the first time since 1999 when a sitting president attempted to destroy the economy through clueless incompetent decisions that is stressing the citizens in no mean measures. This also, is the first time a sitting president is forseening how the next election would play out even though he's yet to be on seat for one year!

Blame his cluelessness and incompetent employees for this. According to Africa's richest man, Dangote, Naira floating is one of the biggest mess, in lay man's word, foolishness yet of this Asiwaju Govt. Not done, ACF, fired another shot of how Asiwaju is destroying the gains of Buhari......my goodness.... Buhari gains? Yes, according to Rufai Oseni, a prominent OAP, Asiwaju is making Buhari look like a good leader!

Why won't all these fine gentleman complain? One, Dangote today is poorer, all thanks to Asiwaju cluelessness. Rufai feels less happy because he has now, far too many people to dash money or gifts now and then be they may not be as privileged as he is!

In other news, one of the Abido Shaker in the north, HE Atiku's Abubakar has signaled his wish to support HE Peter Obi for 2027. Amongst AA partners include Kwakwaso Rabiu, the strong man of Talakawas and current gate keeper of Kano state, Lamido, Sanusi and a host of others.

According to what we learned, a disenfranchised El Rufai, one of the people who fought to have Asiwaju in power is currently nursing his wounds with a war chest of $100M, planning on how to fight back and give Asiwaju a mortal wound in 2027....

Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming 2023 election, has revealed that he may extend his support to Peter Obi, his Labour Party counterpart from the previous election, in the 2027 election.

Currently engaged in merger talks with opposition political parties, Atiku expressed his willingness to back Obi if he is chosen by the party as their candidate.

This announcement comes after a meeting between Atiku and Obi, which has sparked speculation about a potential merger of opposition parties leading up to the 2027 general elections.

The move to align opposition parties in an effort to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming election has been confirmed by Atiku, who emphasized the possibility of merging to achieve a common goal.

If the new party decides to allocate the presidential ticket to the South-East region and selects Peter Obi, Atiku stated that he would not hesitate to support him.

Atiku further reiterated his commitment to abide by the party’s decision, as he had previously stated that he would not contest the presidential ticket if it was zoned to the South or South-East.

However, he did participate in the 2023 presidential ticket race as it was open to all party members.

You lamented more than this before the general elections with every obstacle known in the way of Tinubu even Buhari and his cabal until the last minute when it dawned on Buhari That he is helpless against the jet-speed fast moving train of Tinubu and his team.
Obi,Atiku and their co horts will be crushed in 2027 again because a lot of people will rush and be happy to vote Tinubu In 2027 because of his performance in this first term.

This is why Igbos are very poor in business. The only place they have made it a little in the world in their petty trading is Lagos.
Yoruba dominated more business platforms than Igbos. They are babies to Yoruba In business
Igbos are mostly greatly delusioned.
Tell them to name one or two Igbo businesses that are up to 35 to 40 years and you will see them grunting.
Yoruba have firms spanning more than 100,90,80 years and still counting.

If they are half as good as Yorubas in business, tell them to name a single company, yes, single major company they have abroad.
I will name more than ten owned by Yorubas and positively kicking.
They have crumbled their businesses due to laziness and incompetence.
Politics › Re: Petrol Subsidy ‘return’: NNPCL, IMF Disagree Over N8.43trn Loss by Ofemannnu: 5:54pm On May 12, 2024
FG is only paying subsidy partly according to IMF and it is temporary unlike previously.
This is the reason why allocations of states have almost trippled.
This is why FG could give awards and reason why they will be able to pay higher wages (if the states are held accountable by NLC,TUC and NGOs)
Nigeria will get better.

Nyamiriflathed:
The igalas also gave the Igbo tribe it's name "Igbo" which the meaning in igala is not too pleasant.
Have read it in their history too.
It was a degrading name and not all Igbos were called Igbos during that period but the name later encapsulated all of them including the Igalas who colonised them (only that each clan knows its root)
The ones that called others Igbos later got their descendants being called Igbos too.
Outsiders knew and continue to know them as Igbos till date.

Which African nations are below Lagos? Guy you people are really overestimating Lagos from all points. At it's peak Lagos could not even reach top 15 African economies.
Recently,It is only the devaluation of naira that affects Lagos just like it does,Nigeria.
They are both coming back strongly before the end of 2024 cheesy

Bobloco:
When you vote for your Yoruba presidential candidate, as it has always been since time immemorial, it's not tribalism but when the SE votes for a candidate from the SE, you get agitated and shout tribalism.

You are an ethnic bigot, LegendHero

The south east will always remain the most detribalised ethnic group in Nigeria and your f**cking opinion will never change that fact
Maybe detribalised has gotten a new Ipob meaning because the SE happens to be the most tribalistic region with very tribalised denizens in Nigeria.
SE is even gliding in tribal slurs among themselves talkless of outsiders.

One will wonder why an undereducated region will impose its citizens as the first VCs of two universities in the most educated region when that region has professors who could fill the post honourably if not for tribalism and nepotism.

Politics › Re: Data Disproves Commissioner’s Claim That Lagos Is Africa’s 7th Largest Economy by Ofemannnu: 9:44pm On May 04, 2024
Truly, the devaluation would have affected the GDP of Lagos compared to other Africa nations who were below Lagos before but the problem with FIJ is that they didn't provide any proof.
Until then,we are still with the commissioner.

According to Forbes or Bloomberg?

Inferiority and Igbos' laziness and incompetence led them to massively post people that were not confirmed by any body or known institutions like Forbes and Bloomberg as billionaires just from their imaginations.
Hausas don't post falsehood that they are the richest.

Most of these Igbos do not even worth up to 50 million dollars.

No Igboman dead or alive, has ever worth up to $1 billion.
Falsehood is the second name of Igbos.
They like good things but not ready to work hard to get it except fraudulently.

The only dollar billionaires that are Nigerians in the world are 6 according to Forbes and Bloomberg who are the only authentic wealth entities in the world.

The Nigerians are:
Dangote.
Adenuga.
Rabiu.
Otedola.
Awotona.
Ogunlesi.
No single Igboman.

Darocha was the first African billionaire even before any Nigerian billionaire was born.
Just like some said Louis Ojukwu was a millionaire which I think he was.
Darocha had business internationally and he was a fluid philantropist.

All this na noise because according to NUC data,SW has 3 times professors that SE has.

SW has more doctors,lawyers,Engineers,Nurses etc.
Does it mean that the South Easterners always drop out or are expelled because of fraud or some other infractions?

The answer could be that SW have been topping the educational chart for decades as Nigerians both in Nigeria and abroad.

Just look at this doctors infograph even without Lagos,Kogi and Kwara.

The big question u should answer is what tribe is called Abroad in Nigeria?

That is your lie,sir.
Thank God,Lagos and FCT were posted differently.

P.S :Abroad means number of Nigerian doctors who travelled abroad during this period.

It was not a fake but for 2022.
What we were saying was that the aggregate number of doctors in the SW from 2017 upward is way higher than that of SE.
Even SW has most dentists in Nigeria.
In aggregate,SE is even lower than other regions including the North.

This is infograph and the link from the same Statisense...

Malami, Mamman Daura, Sabiu Yusuf Negotiating To Refund $25billion From Looted $75billion Oil Money.

The trio of former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, Mamman Daura and a personal assistant to former President Mohammadu Buhari, Sabiu Yusuf aka Tunde, are using a British Lawyer to negotiate with the Bola Tinubu’s Government for the return of $25billion from a $75billion they allegedly looted from oil deals, Investigative Journalist Jackson Ude Reported.

He stated further, Malami, Daura and Sabiu have been very quiet, operating on a low key while negotiating with senior officials and investigators to make secret refunds of funds they looted while in Government.

The looted $75billion is said to be part of a $100.5billion proceeds from crude oil signed off by former President Buhari who was also Petroleum Minister.

It is not clear yet if the Tinubu’s Government has agreed to accept the $25billion being negotiated by the trio…
This could be a blog.
Please,ppist the source.

Billionairly:
I didnt bother to click the link because nothing you wrote here invalidates the claim. What you are stating is a different stats altogether which is claiming that of all those who eventually become doctors more yorubas go on to be professors. But that doesnt mean yorubas have way more doctors. Not every doctor wants to become a professor. Some are happy to maybe start their own clinics with a mere BA or some a Masters degree while others might choose to transcend to other genres of medicine.

If that stat really bothers you, I hope you people understand that States mentioned here in does not include the entire igbo population, If we are to make this a tribal list, it might be igbos 2750 Omulabis 1300, because the SS delta and rivers has a lot of indigenous and non indigenous igbos, So you people should calm down and give credit where it is due.
Igbos are known for petty trading.
Leave education for the Yorubas who dominate the sector.
If I tell you to name 5 doctors of Igbo origin now, hardly will you be able to name even 4 but I can name 10 Yoruba doctors that any Nigerian can relate with.
The only Igbo doctor I know is that Maduka man from Anambra grin

Every Nigerian knows that Engineering,Law,Medicine,IT etc are dominated by the Yorubas.
The only thing you almost dominate but not dominating,is petty trading.

Instead of learning how to do real business from the business savvy Yorubas, you don't have that patience but just beating your hollow chests on nothing.

These numbers does not reflect the true statistics.

In FMC abakaliki, Ebonyi state where I work, the number of medical students exceeds 300. I mean one level(like 300L). Now 99% of the students are actually igbos.

My neighbor, a nursing student, their class is well over 500 (just 4th year). I once helped my landlord to do exam invigilation of law students, 100L. It took 3 big halls to continue them. 98% igbos.

We don't have or keep data in this country and its sad.
Where are those Igbos because Yorubas dominate medicine both abroad and in Nigeria.
