By Udeme Akpan, Energy Editor

The $20 billion Dangote Refinery started production, thus promising to meet the domestic demand for petroleum products in Nigeria.

Before now, the nation had depended on massive importation of petroleum products from the global market, which impacted negatively on Nigeria’s foreign exchange.

Even the land in which Alaba international is built belongs to the Lagos state government. That location is originally designated for a park, but Lateef Jakande allowed it to be used for a market.
The ...we Don buy Lagos lands finish... song from some of our blodas is mainly a consolation song that can only happen in their imagination.
Documents,C of Os and facts from numerous sources have shown that they are just dreaming.

Congrats.
How much shares does he or his company have in Blackrock now or is it total takeover?
If it were me I wouldn't sell but I know the Whites will fight him with everything.
He is a gem to have stirred the GIP he started in 2006 or so to control finance portfolio of more than $100 billion.
Nigerians are doing great things.

Stop decieving yourself. It depends on the area. You can't go to Ikorodu or mushin and not see over 90% owners as Yoruba. Similarly, you can't go to festac or agoo palace and not see over 90% owners as Igbos.
No sir,Yorubas are too sophisticated to sell a large chunk of their lands to non Yorubas.
Documents at Lands have shown their sophistication and these lists are some of them.
Some Igbos are just deceiving themselves.Even the not up to 8% bought by the Igbos or any other group can be revoked just like Wike did in Rivers.
Either the lands bought by Igbos or any other tribe, all lands still belong to Yoruba in Yorubaland.
According to one Yoruba parlance...Yorubas own the lands and the owners of the lands as long as they are in the SW.

The owners of Lagos are not Stupid
Hospitality is not Stupidity
I just remember a thread here where some professionals with sympathy for Labour party posted that after their investigation, they found out that most of the buildings, more than 80% or so, demolished by LASG were owned by the Yorubas.
A few people didn't believe them.

What is the essence of this because when I got hold of the newspaper,I saw that the applicants are around 93% Yoruba people.
lol
I posted it when I saw that lands in Lagos are still more than 92% owned by Yorubas.
I thought they have sold off everything or at least 3/4 of the lands.

Someone should educate Tunji Ojo about the clauses around lifting the veil of incorporation. ...
where fraudulent and dishonest use is made of the legal entity, the individuals concerned will not be allowed to take shelter behind the corporate personality. - CAMA

https://businessday.ng/news/legal-business/article/doctrine-of-lifting-the-veil-its-implication-on-corporate-governance-in-nigeria/

Hence Olubunmi Tinji-Ojo is culpable and ICPC need to step in and do the needful. Hiding behind incorporated entity to commit fraud is as corrupt as stealing from public purse.
We are yet to see where the man becomes culpable.
He did not facilitate the contract.
He doesn't take part in the day to day activities of the company.
He is not the director but shareholder.
He should be thoroughly investigated if he has done something u towards in getting that contract.

All of these people are babies in corruption compared to Obi who stole Anambra money and siphoned it into Fidelity bank where he is a beneficiary.
He was also named in the international Pandora papers for diverting Anambra people's money into his family's businesses.
One will wonder why he is still walking free with these monumental financial infractions and embezzlement.

It is not a coincidence.Tinubu knew that 90% of his appointees are corrupt and under EFCC investigation or questionable before he appointed them as ministers or selected them as senate President.
Is it his chief of staff gbajabiamila,Senate President Akpabio,APC chairman Ganduje,Minister Matawale, and their likes? It is not a coincidence at all.
Some of us rised an alarm that his appointees have corruption cases but he ignored our cry.Just few months to their appointment, our allegations are manifesting.

Firstly, with Apkabio sending (bribes to lawmakers bank accounts to screened ministers nominated by Tinubu) prayers to lawmakers mailboxes.
The ministers are recouping back their bribes from public funds.

They brought in the corruption from Lagos State to federal government.
All of these people are babies in corruption compared to Obi who stole Anambra money and siphoned it into Fidelity bank where he is a beneficiary.

Yes,Obi was/is the cleanest by using Anambra state money to buy shares in Fidelity Bank where he was a beneficiary.
His cleanliness shone like sun when he was named in the Pandora Paper.

Was he not there before Tinubu became the president?

Civil servants guarantor for loans tie their gratuity and pension to any loan scheme they undertake

This is fact
I bet you have not read the bill.Go and read it.
I have the pdf.
It has its advantages and disadvantages just like life itself.
The advantages are 90% because a literate nation is a successful nation in the comity of nations.

There will be fraud but very, very minimal because of the way the bill is strewn together.
The Education bank and fed govt will even do everything possible to create jobs so they can recoup back their money.

Ibadan has more infrastructures....malls,estates,educational institutions etc.
Ibadan is the only city in Nigeria with more than 10 GRAs.
