Politics › Re: Arrest Yoruba Leaders Backing Operation Amotekun Now, Miyetti Allah Tells FG by Ofemannnu: 10:59am On Jan 18, 2020
BuhariLooter:
Amotekun in its formation isn't different from IPOB's BSS, only that IPOB is not an elected representative of the people,Why did the Oyoruba governors not seek legislature backing from their respective state assemblies when setting up the vigilante movement?

Malami will argue that Sharia and Hisbah came about through legislation by the state assemblies.

Are the current crop of Oyoruba governors so daft not to know that laws created at state level can not be overruled by the FG?

Why did Malami not declare Fayose's anti grazing bill and the security outfit he setup to enforce the law illegal?

Yaribanza, your APC governors are mocking you and were only using this Amotekun as political leverage. They are not interested nor concerned about your safety.

Where are the cows
OSU cannibal gone berserk.

Agboriotejoye:
Bigotry? Excuse me, but is he not the president now or do you mean we voted a bigot in as president? Buhari simply pandered to his base. A move that is expected of any politician. It is such moves that earned him the followership he presently enjoys in the north.

Law and constitution bawo? Are you sure you're getting this in the right perspective? People have raised the hisbah police as well as the CJTF and asked why the AGF has not termed them illegal. Politics is at play here bro not law. Check out the bodies who have raised concern about the amotekun. MACBAN, ACF before the AGF joined in. Does that not tell you the AGF is on a hatchet mission?

What about Soyinka? Is he not our leader as well?
Or Banji Akintoye
Each individual you mentioned have their reasons for silence. I'm sure that of Osinbajo is well understood. OBJ has always wanted to be seen as Pan-Nigeria and hardly panders to tribal or regional sentiment. If Tinubu has some plans up his sleeve for being quiet, then all good. But so farm no signal from his side shows any support towards the initiative.
Soyinka etc are not in APC.
I have noticed something about Tinubu that he does not immediately voice his opinion except if it concerns APC or else he takes a very long time in responding to issues.I think we should let him be.A good leader does not talk like parrot if he is not a critic like Prof Soyinka who is revered worldwide as a Laureate. I still insist that it is better for Tinubu to use proxies than coming out to say anything for now.
Politics › Re: Amotekun: Group Gives Tinubu 24 Hours To Reveal Position by Ofemannnu: 8:43pm On Jan 17, 2020
Agboriotejoye:
Like I said before, Tinubu likes to be seen as the political leader of the Yorubas. If he wants to live up to that billing, then he needs to speak up at critical junctures as this. I remember a certain Buhari coming all the way to Oyo state to speak for the Fulanis. Same buhari also spoke for Boko haram when they were under fire from GEJ's govt and was even recognised by the group to be their representative in negotiations. That's what I'm talking about.
The govs have done well in coming together though three of them are still suspect. It however behoves on the perceived leader to show leadership at this point.
What Buhari did is called bigotry.I hope you are Yoruba and you understand the proverb that says...Yara gboro, lora fesi....hear,then take a while before you reply in order to give a good response. What the AGF said does not concern Tinubu,Obasanjo,Osinbajo but our able lawyers and they have responded creditably well.It all has to do about laws and constitution. I would have been disappointed if Obasanjo,Akinrinade,Tinubu or any other Yoruba leader has reacted. We have our mouthpiece like Afenifere,OPC etc.
Yorubas are known to be intelligent, don't let us act otherwise.
Our leaders including Tinubu have done creditably well by not talking now,yes now.

I'm not Igbo, but by the account of history, they said awolowo was betrayed by his own kinsmen.
They said?

The only people that have continually said and still say...because it is inbred in them...negative things about Yorubas, are the Igbos. They are a majority group,so you can see how far their falsehood has travelled. It is a kind of singsong among them and it is unfortunate that they are doing this.

If you are not Igbo,I bet you are not a mumu and can discern truth from falsehood.
I have given you instances, they are even more than that, where Igbos have back stabbed Nigeria, the South, the North etc.
These are verified betrayals from Igbos that played a big part in putting Nigeria in this sorry state.
If you think Yorubas are backstabbers like Igbos, give the instances.

Agboriotejoye:
Have you ever heard of the head of the house presumed or not, hiding when the house is on fire?
If Tinubu wants the SW people to truly see him as a leader in the mould of Awolowo and go better than MKO in his political pursuits, he should let come out and be counted at this hour of need.
More importantly, there's a southern awareness currently going on and we need to be sure there'll be no fifth columnist to derail this important step to delivering Nigeria from its shackles.
I think the best people that should talk in this scenario are the governors and lawyers. We do not need Osinbajo or Tinubu or any leading APC members from SW to talk now If some people do not know, they are talking through their proxies.Have you heard Buhari say anything?Even Atiku has not said anything.A leader does not just talk like mumu like that except if they are the initiators e.g govs and the lawyers because of the legal aspect.
I know that Tinubu is neither a lawyer or serving governor.I think the group is being mischievous.

If I was tinubu, I would speak my mind in a way that is politically correct or remain silent. The same people asking him to side with Amotekun now against his political ambition will be against him if the table turns. Yoruba's are known for back stabbing. They did the same to Abiola
The only tribe known for backstabbing are the Igbos who have backstabbed all Nigerians even themselves.Only a coward will say people say that I can fight but always runs away when fight comes.

What you have termed as betrayals of Yoruba to Igbos is this...

Awolowo,a politician allegedly said Yoruba will secede if Igbos are allowed to secede. An intelligent person will know that a politician without ammunitions is a bloody civilian. If any Igbo believes that Awolowo was going to fight with his agbada, then he is a dumbo. The truth was that Awolowo advised Ojukwu,a military man not to go to war and as soon as Awolowo left,Ojukwu betrayed him by declaring secession... as if they both planned it.Awolowo was saved by the whiskers.
Now apart from this, tell me another of your cooked up betrayals..

These are verified Igbo betrayals to Yoruba,South,North and the whole Nigeria...

1.Azikiwe betrayed the South to give power to the North.

2.Igbos later backstabbed the North and South by killing their leaders.

3.Aguiyi Ironsi betrayed Nigeria by foisting Unitary System of govt on the populace with decree 34.

4.Igbos betrayed Nigeria by supporting Abacha through the 1millon people march.

5.Igbos betrayed the South by always voting for the North.

6.Igbos betrayed Yorubas by voting for Tofa, another Northerner....

The list goes on...

Tinubu will never say anything about the issue because he desperately want to rule this country even if it means selling his people to slavery.
That is why you have been slaves since your inception Everything about you is slavemasters and slaves.Your people have the 'slave mentality'.Desist from being slaves by thinking and talking progressively.

ItooWorWor:
Former Presidential Adviser Tanko Yakasai, on fridday suggested how the southeast can produce Nigeria's next President.

Yakasai explained that the southeast can produce Nigeria's President if the region partners with other regions, expecially the North.

The Northern elder made the disclosure while featuring on Channels Television Sunrise Daily.

He said: "There is a good opportunity for Igbos to produce the president of Nigeria in the near future or later."

"The political arrangement in the country is such that you need correlation with some parts of North and South."

"The Igbos can make a move of getting partners from other parts of the country, in particular the North."

Thunder fire Yorubas, let them do their amotekun rubbish by themselves, shebi they are proud backstabbers of the South, now they want SE and SS to establish their own security too to curb the backlash on them from the north.

Rubbish slaves feeling funky because of Lagos state, if there was no Lagos state Yoruba land could have been the most backward region in Nigeria but because of Lagos that the Federal Government and the Igbos developed now they have mouth to talk, let them face the Fulani and see what will happen to them and I will be more than glad if the Fulani level them all from Osun to ekiti down to oyo and Ogun state, shoot all Yoruba's down so they can run to Buhari for assistance that he will gladly decline rendering to them. You are free to create laws to ban open grazing and follow the said law accordingly; but communities are not at liberty to take the law into their hands by resorting to self help, as in this case, by chasing anybody away or holding their cattle ransome.
The community are in this way worsening an already bad situation by potentially putting themselves in harms way in event of reprisals.
You have consistently been harping on this reprisal in all your comments.Pls,sir bring on your reprisal. Hope you are coming in the dead of the night or any suitable time you deem fit.Just be very well prepared and make sure you watch over your numerous enclaves properly. You are welcome anytime.A tiger does not shout its tigritude.

In case u werent aware, OBJ was running away from war theatre when be will shot on the butt. How about that?
Yorubas fought wars for 100 years locally and internationally... e.g Dahomey,Ewe in Ghana and were never defeated.Read up on the history of Yorubas..It is a taboo to lose a war,the commander has to commit suicide. It is a big shame to be defeated in the battlefield. This has always been the norm except in very rare isolated cases .
