@Topic that Itakpe-Warri railway was conceived pre-1999 because of the functional Steel companies back then. It was designed originally for the transportation of iron ore and other heavy minerals from Itakpe to Delta steel company in Warri, but Obasanjo started the real construction with Julius Berger after he became civilian President.
