I'd love to see how someone who couldn't win his local government would defeat the combination of Oshiomole and Ize - Iyamu, complete with Federal might!!!
I AM DONE TALKING Sifia pains for Yoruba Moslems. Obaseki, Izy and Oshomole couldn't stop PDP from winning Edo at the presidential. PDP has strong presence in Edo already and with Obaseki moving with part of the original APC it is already a walk in the park. Kwankwaso did it in Kano, Tambuwal in Sokoto, Atiku in Adamawa. We will do it in Edo also. |

Yandl: lair lair lair. When they same in partnership it means they merely funded it. Read the report. Data was collected by nbs and analyses by their staff as normal. Even the poverty study you idiots want to call yemi kale was in partnership with World Bank. So he influenced World Bank but not the UN. You are so stupid in thinking nobody will fact check your bullshit propaganda. Can only work where people don’t read or have no sense. It seems you are in sifia pains. Yemi rigs data in favour of Yorubas. FACT. Only a fool believes that Osun has lower poverty rate than Rivers and Anambra. |

Politics › Re: Babangida Annulling The June12 Election Won By MKO Abiola by OFFICIAL336: 10:30am On Jun 12, 2020 |
seunmsg: The atrocity committed by IBB against MKO was not as heinous as the crimes committed by Igbo military officers against the political and military leadership of the north and western region on January 15, 1966. Those cowards crept into the bedroom of their seniors at a time when reasonable people were sleeping to murder them in cold blood. In retaliation, over 200 young Igbo officers were killed by northerners and over 2 million of your folks were killed during the civil war.
As regards June 12, I’m glad to inform you that Yorubas have gotten over the injustice that was done to MKO. After IBB annulled the election, we fought him so much that he had to quickly step aside as military president. We fought the two successive military juntas after him until we achieved democracy for Nigeria in 1999. We ensured MKO’s struggle was not in vain.
We did not just achieve democracy for Nigeria, we ensured a Yoruba man ruled the country for the first eight years of our new democracy. The current Vice President is one of our own and June 12 is now the recognized day to celebrate democracy in Nigeria. In 2023, we are going to give the presidency another shot.
So you see, we are not a bitter people. When we are wronged, we simply fight back and get justice. We don’t wail and attack unnecessarily. Most importantly, we don’t allow hate to weigh us down. Cheers. Extract from Lagos-Ibadan expressway |

Olominira: I don't know if this advice would be useful for you. The idea of breaking Nigeria would not solve any problem we are facing as a nation. You pointed your reasons, are there not criminals in the SE who are locals? The problem facing the country is largely weak institutions which is common among all developing nations globally.
The people of SE should be the last set of Nigerians who should be calling for division for two main reasons. One, they tend to unit the Nigerian people more, by traveling and doing business with everyone easily. Also they settle in those communities without any issue.
Two, the SE region tend to be poorest region among the six geopolitical regions in Nigeria by 2040, either the region remains in Nigeria or not. It's not because of lack of access to the Atlantic. The main factor highlighting this is based on the land mass and the population.
It would require a lifetime fortunes to acquire land for commercial activities from 2030. The cheapest cost of land would be available between now and end of the decade. This would make the region to rely on her neighbours for food, basic manufacturing and products due to production costs.
Kanu and all calling for breaking down of Nigeria do not know much, rather very myopic and unintelligent. It's easier to be successful in bigger nations than smaller ones. I also find those calling on other tribes not to migrate to their regions as myopic. Naturally, people migrating to your region become part of you after three generations either by culture, marriage or number.
IPOB is a mere distraction which has caused young people who are supposed to focus on personal development and goals to be pursuing unproductive cause. It's a pity. Nigeria has large number of her leaders focusing on tribal politics and religion instead of collective national interests and goals. I've lived among people of different colours for many years same with several other Nigerians without issues. How much more people of my colour?

Which is again unrelated to anything here.
I am tired of dragging with some nitwit outsider hell bent on distorting Yoruba history for his idiotic agenda. A lot of Ijebus that I know don't believe that they are Yorubas, and even the Aworis. An Egun would slap you if you call him yoruba. STOP GRABBING PEOPLE'S LAND. Be guided. |

Farki: Ijebus and Aworis are Yorubas, Eguns are descendants of Dahomey refugees and traders who mixed with the Yorubas and 'Eko' is the Edo name for Lagos Island, the people who live there are Ìsàlẹ̀ Èkó who are also Yoruba.
I don't know what concerns Ibadan mercenaries with the ethnicity of Ijebus. Ijebus, Aworis and Eguns are not Yorubas. Eko are the only aboriginal Yorubas in Lagos. Ibadan mercs joined Hausas in the British violent onslaught against Ijebus in the British-Ijebu war |
