I like your choice of words there “tricking people to comfort and then penalising them for playing by the rules”.

They staggered the test and didn’t even bother to schedule the candidates by themselves (maybe in batches/time slots).....they made that completely discretional, and even emphasised it in several correspondences.

Feels like coming back to say “hey we are going to punish you for doing what we said”.

Didn’t it occur to them that some people might have advantage coz of timing when they scheduled it that way?
And hey, are we assuming that all those who wrote late cheated ? Or that all those who wrote earlier didn’t cheat at all? Keep in mind this was a virtual exam. Some people wrote with friends and relatives, even tho early (at least we are free to assume anything now, let’s keep assuming). So some people cheated, regardless of the time, and still had low scores. Some people saw the questions and still didn’t get up to 70%. But I’m sure some people wrote the test and legitimately scored 80% or more. Just Assuming that all those who wrote late cheated would be notably naive...... but that’s not even my business; it will be inexcusably unprofessional. Stick to the standard you preset. If people cheated, they enabled it. Get on with whatever you have.

It’s senseless to mark you down just because I feel you cheated. Well, no need to vent, I don’t want to believe it yet.

Nobody can write that exam and score 80% without cheating

You are right,some people don’t read to understand. The advert clearly stated that with Bsc if you have second class upper and lower you are eligible, while with HND, if you have upper credit you are eligible. If you have lover credit, you need a good masters degree to become eligible.
That’s why the statements were demarcated with bold fonts.

You Sabi book that is exactly what that statement on their advert page means. It is only those who have HND lower credit that should have masters

Very good question. I can see you are very good at analyzing things.Probably the call he made earned him a shortlist.It followed logically.But if this is correct, it means that one should expect the things we see as impossible to be possible in this recruitment

Are you God?Stop please, you are only a human.That was how people who scored very low in the first test lost hope of the recruitment only for them to be shortlisted for the second round of test to the extent that someone who scored 27% was invited.

Also look at the case of those who had 0% being contacted to retake the test.Some recruitment agency will not even talk of rescheduling another day and time for those set of persons to retake their test rather, they will use that to weed away those set of persons from the recruitment.There is really more to this recruitment.Even dragnet can not even reschedule another day for retake of aptitude test in a case like this.You guys are lucky. I wanted to ignore this, but I just couldn't. In fact, this is the most absurd write-up I've seen in recent years. As far as I know, recruitment agencies don't go back and forth on test scores. There is nothing like cumulative scores. Normally, your score in the first stage qualifies you for the next stage and your score in the next stage qualifies you for the stage after it. It goes on and on until you get the job. What I'm saying in essence is this; your score in the the previous stage is discarded as you progress through the stages. I hope my grammar is clear enough, sir.

You are really on point

From what I feel the first score might still be considered.So if you didn't do well in the second stage test is expected you do well in the first stage test or vice versa.Just to prevent a situation where someone will end up accusing the recruitment agency of not conducting a fair recruitment.Just like the case mentioned here that someone got 94% in first test and 34% in the second test.This guy will definitely be called for interview because he did well in the first test despite the fact that he had a low score in the second test.

I think It is very possible that NCDMB really wants to recruit large number of persons.Someone who scored 31 in the last test and was not shortlisted for the second test just called me that he received a text around 10:30pm this night to take the test

Straight APL is possible for you.Nothing is impossible.If with your 45%score in the first test that people scored very high you were invited for the second round how much more this second round that low scores is just flying around here on nairaland. I want to believe you never expected that you will be shortlisted for the second round considering those high cutoff marks people speculated here.So my point is leave it in God's hand, it shall end in praise.
