CentralIntels: Chino you're only typing all of this because somebody exposed that you had HIV this afternoon. What is this 'imo people live in Anambra' nonsense? Anambra people notoriously live in Asaba, Enugu and Aba lol. I haven't checked Owerri but who would it surprise? The irony is Anambra people are well known for living in nearby states. Half of Asaba is from Anambra. What are you doing bro? is it a thing of shame? Do you know how many of those buildings in Onitsha are specifically owned by Orlu zone people? If I speak now lol 3 Likes |

OfficialAPCNig:As far as GDP alone it is possible. GDP is the value of what is produced, and 4/5 world class gas refineries can do the trick. Especially since this Dangote one seems like another one of Nigeria's notorious 'failed refineries' in the making. I could be wrong though, Lagos is extremely far ahead 10 years ago, I wouldn't have believed Imo could pass Rivers but here we are 4 Likes |

Trollronaldo: He's not alone. Even on social media anambras have insulting Igbo people to the point of convincing themselves that there is something happening in Anambra that doesn't happen everywhere else. Ndiigbo say that a child who insults an elder believes he has outspoken him. This group of them have become a weakness for Igbo people in general because anyone that wants to divide Igbo people will appeal to their insecurity and desire to have conflict with others and it will work. In a stage way they have become a second Ikwerre people. But yes, everyone has ignorned them, especially Chino. But the ignoring makes them think they are actually telling the truth or preceiving reality correctly. Everyday someone from Anambra is insulting Ebonyi people for example, but Abakaliki is like Dubai compared to Awka. Still Ebonyi people ignore and move on. I remember when they got an airport then flooded the internet with nonsense to the point that you would forget that are the 5th Igbo state to get an airport (Owerri, Umuahia, Enugu, Asaba, Port Harcourt all predate). I remember telling one mugu that Aba had more factories than Onitsha, which is something the entire world knows. Nwanne, the way this chimpa attacked me for several days after really showed there is something mental happening to a lot of our brothers. Ok, why is it called Made in Aba and not Made in Onitsha? What exactly do they think is happening in Anambra that is not normal everywhere else? Village mansions? They have even gone only to constantly declare its just Anambra that has village mansions, or that Anambra rich people are richer than rich people everywhere when Awka (capital) and Abririba (village) are mates. 1 Like |

If Ndi Anambra can share how they plan on keeping Chino in his cage, I think a ceasefire is long overdue. I have even seen him leave other Igbos alone and focus on other sentatorial districts in Anambra, so this is a mutual problem 1 Like |

With the two new refineries and a possible one in Oguta, Imo can suprass Lagos in GDP, something I didn't think would be possible, but it's looking inevitable. |

In years to come, it will make traffic worst, and it's unsightly. People commonly start living under them as well. That is what I mean. It also kills the neighborhoods and areas it's located by because as Nigeria develops and settles, nobody will want to invest near an overpass because it's loud, dangerous and dirty. In the US, all of the neighborhoods that have flyovers become ghettos. But Nigerians are not as sensitive to noise so hopefully this doesn't happen. |

Anambra1stSonTV: You should know that every Igbo thread is under 24/7 attack from people from Anambra. Chino and Desmond Nedu Alaegbu primarily. They are even opening youtube channels to insult other igbo states. This is the undeniable origin of everything happening. This Abia person is responding to an invasion of their own thread with hate because Aba's power plant only caused Anambra people to overheat. The overheating comes from constantly having to feel like you're superior to other Igbos and that superiority has 0 origin, 0 basis in reality. So when reality happens, many who buy into that idea will feel attacked. If you have to keep saying you're the most XYZ in the southeast, everything you are shown you are now, you will feel attacked then start attacking anyone for showing progress. Enugu international airport was attacked by Anambra people, Ebonyi has been attacked for it's airport and progress, Owerri is attacked for it's progress, Abia is attacked for it's progress, but world wide all of these states celebrate and hail good things that happen in Anambra. There is a serious problem and it's not just Nairaland. 1 Like |

Umu Anambra, what is the purpose of everything being 'the most _______ in the south east'? There is an obsession I'm noticing with trying to assert a fake superiority over other Igbo people. One that doesn't exist outside of maybe ignorance and lack of travel. So when someone posts Owerri you fight because it doesn't match your agenda. When someone posts Aba you fight because it doesn't match your agenda. When someone posts Enugu you fight. Even Ebonyi has become a point of attack. You never see someone from Imo attacking Enugu, or someone from Abia attacking Ebonyi. it's always Anambra. While I don't think this post will fix anything, I do want to point out that we're all noticing Anambra people have made themselves a weak link because we all know your actual issue is other Igbo people. Somehow somebody is supposed to believe Onitsha is the best city in Igboland or what? Even Asaba across the same water debunks this lol. 100% of non-Anambra Igbo people on Nairaland are celebrating Aba's Geometric Power Plant and Aba achieving light for the first time. But in those thread and this thread, Anambra people are stressed. Let the good among you speak up because I don't even see Yoruba or Hausa people vexing this progress as much. There is nothing happening in Anambra that isn't happening everywhere else in the SE. Idk if your parents lied to you or what but at this point this is embarassing. The inability to acknowledge the progress of other places has actually made it hard for Anambra to progress because they already think they won a race that nobody is attending with them. What is even worst is because most other states don't engage in this foolishness, you actually think they have said everything they can say. When we begin speaking, you will adjust. 1 Like |

Umueme: Of course, in normal countries any place that has human population has ports. A port is just a place to drop things off, you don't even need to justify it. But you're correct, a port near Aba alone will be very busy. Personally, I see Lagos becoming a bigger Cotonou once Igbos shift east and they're aware. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Aba is the future as it was the past. Abia can actually begin the seaport at Azumiri and if the federal government objects is 6000% suggest Abia take the case to federal court. It is illegal to deny people access to sea by international law. 4 Likes |

Jonathan was a good president, but a good president is better than Nigeria deserves and Nigeria showed him that. Because he ran fair and free elections they called him weak and drunk. Now those who were calling him these things are sparked 'hunger protests'. What will come after Tinubu will be worst 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Hardship: Ahead Nlc Rally, Protests Rock Edo, Lagos And Osun by Ofodirinwa: 8:56pm On Feb 27 |
Logically, what does 'protesting against hunger' do? A protest is suppose to ask for a specific action. At the end of the protest, if there's no food served to protesters, hunger will win |
