Inec has declared Ahmed Bola Tinubu as president elect of February 25, 2023 presidential election. This declaration has generated mixed reaction from the entire populace. Apc group has come out to say that 2023 presidential and national assembly election was free and fair but others have different views. But the good thing about situation now is that aggrieved parties have agreed to seek redress legally which to me is plus to our democracy. This step will prevent waste of lives and properties and I encourage aggrieved parties and supporters to eschew violence and give our country's democracy a chance to bounce back.

The turn out of voters in this 2023 presidential election is unprecedented and massive. As at 2pm in this polling unit (islamiya primary school), the queue is still long and the voters waiting patiently to exercise their franchise. It's good to point out that I did not notice any form of vote buying in this polling unit, kudos to CBN cashless policy. Voters are voting with their conscience without any form of intimidation.
