How did these first cells become life as we know it today? You may say they evolved, and you would probably correct. But what is Evolution? in a nutshell, it is a theory that many different forms of one species are created, but only the ones with advantages survive to reproduce, and spread these advantages. These advantages could include better camouflage, more strength, better eyesight, and so forth. Slowly, over many generations, the simple single-celled life forms, evolved into more and more complex multiple-celled organisms, adapting to the changing environment of the earth. Past life is often referred to being a part of a certain era, or a certain point on the geological timescale. There are 6 eras on the geological timescale, consisting of the Hadean, Archaean, Protezoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and the Cenozoic. these I'll find time to explain one by one and i believe some things would be made clear and open ! Hello my fellow people of NAIRALAND , been so long i wanted this kind of discussion-- at first this kind of thread was raised but didn't last because some sad Christians notice i am a Biologist and as such will argue for decent with modification; evolution . This is a "meta-fact" supported to the point of certainty . The only space for a question is natural selection and competition as the driving force. Life appears driven to self-organize into more complex structures of its own volition as well, thus explaining original biogenesis and the foundation of Darwinian selection. I absolutely believe that this "vital force" works subtly along side natural selection and also gives rise to it. Synthetic biology is wonderful, but it will not inform on the subject of "spirit", because it is synthetic. When man creates life synthetically (and it will happen, be sure), it will have been coaxed into doing so under labortory conditions and so will not be proof of spontaneous biogenesis. Even if the right chemicals under the right conditions will "spontaneously" arise life, that does not mean it happened that way, nor that an unseen force did not intend or spur it on. Bottom line is that if you can drop strict, narrow-minded, antiquated bible adherence (ever heard of allegories . . . . huh ?) then the spiritual realm becomes more intelligent, vast and beautify, . . . And can walk hand in hand with science as the tool through which it manifests reality. |
Yeah friend i am feeling u ~ some of us get mouth die ! well , how is the exams ? done with that already i guess. . . gimme some wink on fb later ![]() toba: |

Sexkill dear like i have said u have done the rightful thing for starting this conversation. . .I read your respond to my first post saying this place is only for the ATHEIST , i should agree with u half way , normally , the Atheist and theist in the house have to share their own view on how they've understood the origin of life--- ![]() I also read the respond of one Christian poster to me here but because i was too busy i was unable to quote he's comment . but i got his words like i didn't make the point and wanna know if what i have type is from my biology department at school . Sexkill , honestly speaking i promise that this issue in thread would take us to a very high level after sharing with each other our knowledge on this issue of the origin of life. like me ,i started my life as THEIST i.e as a Christian that doesn't even know the truth about the origin of life . You quit know that 99 % of the Christians in the entire World does not really know the ORIGIN of Christianity or the GOD they've been serving . they only helped the religion by writing a mind stirring book ( Bible ) to keep man from the truth and blindfold the realities of life . LATER , i discovered that been a THEIST is the Wrong path to follow as i allow the free-thinking of my sensible brain to get at work , i became ATHEIST before later i chose the Atheistic Satanism and that's the only way to justify how other Religions have lied against the name of the innocent Satan just to promote the name of their Unknown God hiding somewhere above the sky. I am an Satanist and I am frequently writing quotes about religion. I never attacked anyone for having a different belief. This MAN we are both in same SOCIAL CLUB ,he claims to be a Christian attacked me (on a website) and told me that I have no idea what I am talking about and that basically I am ignorant . he has never had a philosophical conversation with me and so he has no idea what my beliefs are--but claims to know almost everything ! lol . I don't understand why he chose to suddenly attack me and for that reason I would like to know more about his religion so I can maybe understand why he said what he did. I would like to know about their beliefs, their morals, and if they are the type to attack others for their beliefs. Thank you |

Sexkill i want to thank u for bring this thread back to life. . . You've done the right thing brother and i would strongly encourage u should keep opening interesting conversation (s ) like this one . i belt u the Christians and some other religious people here would attack u with their comment ( s ) for expressing your mind and ready to learn some deep things about life>>> What is the Origin of Life ? is one of the best THREAD anyone would ever come across on this FORUM as large. . .Welcome brother , let's share our knowledge , learn and teach each others what we know about life. Science shows us that the universe evolved by self-organization of matter towards more and more complex structures. Atoms, stars and galaxies self-assembled out of the fundamental particles produced by the Big Bangg. In first-generation stars, heavier elements like carbon, nitrogen and oxygen were formed. Aging first-generation stars then expelled them out into space – we, who consist of these elements, are thus literally born from stardust. The heaviest elements were born in the explosions of supernovae. The forces of gravity subsequently allowed for the formation of newer stars and of planets. Finally, in the process of biological evolution from bacteria-like tiny cells (the last universal common ancestor, abbr. LUCA) to all life on earth, including us humans, complex life forms arose from simpler ones. Upon considering this self-organization of material structures in the realm of philosophy, one may conclude that it happens either because the laws of nature, which have to be exceedingly special to allow for it , simply are the way they are (possibly in the context of a multiverse) or because they were designed by God for this purpose. Since we know that the laws of nature are so self-sufficient that, based on them, the complexity of the entire physical universe evolved from fundamental particles, and further, complex life forms from simpler ones during biological evolution, we can reasonably extrapolate that they would also allow life itself to originate spontaneously, by chemical evolution of suitable structures – regardless if we believe these laws are designed or undesigned. Therefore, we should expect an origin of life by natural causes from both theistic and atheistic philosophical perspectives I'll respond to this issue until some people who doesn't know the origin of life but claiming it came from one supernatural god hiding somewhere inside the sky that we have never seen or can never see but he see's all the things we do . . .what a poo ! , I'm coming ~ this thread is taking us some level . |
like i have been wondering too. . . M M M: |
Well , whoever that is interested in real friendship should give me a symbol as a mark of interest okay? after all , each of us have life outside online personality only that some people are not serious when it comes to friendly talk and the whole thing of keeping contact. . . |

https://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m360/Ogaga4Luv007/Movie%20Posters/monty_python_and_the_holy_grail.jpg Monty Python and the Holy Grail There are so many funny characters in this film. My favorite is John Cleese who gets the best roles with his Black Knight and the Taunting French Guard. Eric Idle is perfect as the Dead Collector who pushes a cart through the plague ravaged streets chanting "Bring out your dead." Graham Chapman plays King Arthur in a suitably stuffy and silly style . And we can't forget the very silly Knights Who Say NI ! Terry Gilliam directed and made the graphics which are straight from Monty Python and his Satan in the Clouds is clever . Add some songs and dance for good measure and you can't say NI! |
I love the picheon !! sounds lol ^^ ![]() I got a lot of enjoyment from watching "The Forbidden Kingdom" and watching the magnificent grace of Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Despite occasional script deficiencies, I found this picture working from the opening credits, which was a sure sign that what was about to come would surely satisfy the martial arts movie fan inside of me .Wu Xiang ? well , haven't seen that one though but would find time to see it if interesting . . .
