Christianity EtcRe: Question For Xtians by Ogaga4Luv(m): 8:12pm On Oct 15, 2011
Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it lipsrsealed . This is clearly a lie grin , and can be proven to be a lie by any believer. Simply pray for me to be converted to Christianity right away. Or better yet ask God to move the mountains behind my house. He could make a lot of converts that way. If I’m converted today, I’ll post a public apology on this same thread and devote my life to kissing God’s assss cheesy cheesy . If I’m not converted it would only be fair for you to apologize and devote your life to kissing my butttt grin .

Christians, they love to talk about how loving, dutiful and compassionate they are, yet I have yet to meet ONE who does not practice hypocrisy to the highest degree. Their willful ignorance of the Bible combined with their two faced idealism to preach it, has made us sick, hasn’t it? cheesy

Christianity EtcRe: There Is No Free Will In The Bible So Enough Of The Lies. by Ogaga4Luv(m): 7:37pm On Oct 15, 2011
Dear Believer:

I do not accept the Bible as God’s word because it contains thousand of errancies and contradictions that can not be solved, only rationalized. I refuse to accept Jesus as my personal savior, for his behavior and teachings often expose one who should be escaped and not worshipped cheesy cheesy . I ask that you read this pamphlet in light of the bible’s teachings; Christians should be “open to reason” (James 3:17 RSV), that we should “reason together” (Isaiah 1:18) and “he who hates correction will die” (Proverbs 15:10) to understand my perspective that the bible has MANY shortcomings.

1. According to your Bible I am to believe that human kind is sinful for Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge. Why are we being punished for the original sin. . . huh After all, they ate the forbidden fruit, we didn’t. Reason would lead one to say it’s their problem, not ours undecided . Even the bible contradicts itself by claiming in Deuteronomy 24:16, “children shall not be punished for the sins of their fathers.” grin

2. We are told that the Bible has no errors and is utterly perfect/protected, yet it says the bat is a bird (Leviticus 11:13 & 19), hares chew the cud (Leviticus 11:5-6), and some fowl (Leviticus 11:20-21) and insects (Leviticus 11:22-23) have four legs. nonsense book! sad

3. Heaven is supposed to be a perfect place. It is of course, the place you strive for and name “salvation”. Yet, it experienced a war (Revelation 12:7). How can there be a war in a perfect place and if it happened before why couldn’t it happen again. . . huh ( I'm not the author of the Bible ) cheesy cheesy so , i am bringing out from the same bible Christians claim that it's the perfect World of one so-called GOD ! grin Why would I want to go to a place in which war can occur? That’s exactly what I’m trying to escape, aren’t you? cheesy

4. We are told salvation is obtained by faith alone (John 3:18 & 36) and then the Bible claims that it is repentance that shall save us (2 Peter 3:9) yet Jesus told a man to follow the Commandments-Matthew 19:16-1 8 (saving by works)-if he wanted eternal life. ( What a twisting ! cheesy cheesy )So which way is it and how do you know your belief is the correct one. . . huh ? i need reasonable answers from Christians and who ever that believe on the Christian GOD or the so- called mind stirring book ( THE BIBLE) cheesy cheesy

let me jus stop here for now but if u Christians still need me to drop open proves from the Bible u claim perfect I'll still be so glad to do so . . . I'm freakin tired of the so many Christians blabbing about what they don't even have one single knowledge about online most especially on this Nairaland forum i have seen all types . . . cheesy cheesy cheesy

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do People Hate The Bible So Much? by Ogaga4Luv(m): 7:12pm On Oct 15, 2011
For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes.  The so called “God” of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout  grin grin grin .  This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children.  I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along.  You can also follow along with on-line Bibles if u like  grin grin grin

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”.  For example, God kills 70,000   angry angry angry  Oh , now tell me now~ who on earth can say that's a loving God or the true Creator of human even the World. . .huh  huh  Christians i believe u are reading this my comment now if u like plan to attack me with insult i don't care , the thing i must speak the truth and pour out my mind  angry angry Those innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21).  God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there.(What a God!@#?!  lipsrsealed  )   He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3).  He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6).  In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married.  When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife!  Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody  angry angry angry !  In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church!(What a Sadist!  lipsrsealed )  In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person.  Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK(God of the Christians) from the bible.  If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more Satanist like myself. grin grin grin grin grin

Jesus also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to go to heaven:   "For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."  (Matthew 19:12 ASV)  I don't know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally tells all men to cut off their privates. cheesy cheesy

The God of the Bible also was a big fan of ritual human sacrifice and animal sacrifice. angry

And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the Old Testament are no longer in effect, perhaps you should read where Jesus makes it perfectly clear: Because so many active members on the religion section here on the Nairaland Forum are Christians and would be finding ways to defend their strange God!  cheesy cheesy Now, here is also a prove from the new testament from the Bible  "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid."  (Luke 16:17 NAB)

I know that most Christians believe that God is a good and loving god, and wants people to do good things.  I believe that most people want to do good things and behave morally.  I also believe that many Christians haven’t really read the Bible, or just read certain passages in church.  This is understandable, as the Bible is hard to read due to its archaic language and obscure references.  Also many priests and preachers don’t like to read certain passages in the Bible because they present a message of hate not love. smiley

Satan is always there for us, but as we progress, he expects us to handle things, as we are able to, for ourselves, using our own powers. Christianity and its cohorts deliberately make cripples out of people. Christians forever rave about how their Nazarene has healed people. These people remain as slaves because they are never taught how to, nor are they required to heal themselves or others. The Nazarene archetype stands for slavery, servitude, and enduring endless abuse in order to program humanity to be the perfect slaves in a new world order. The Nazarene places total emphasis on the "afterlife" in order to create the mindset that the life we are now living does not matter. This frame of mind is essential for enduring all kinds of abuse for the benefit of a few.

Sorry i have to resurrect this old thread back to life undecided undecided , the reason is because as i was browsing through the religion section of the forum trying to find interesting topic of my choice i stumble across this one , and when i click reading all the responds i wasn't satisfied and no real responds but all are dullz . The character "Jesus Christ" is fictitious and was stolen from some 18+ Pagan legends of a God hanging from a tree, such as Odin, then being resurrected, and is another description of the alchemical operation of transforming the soul- death and then resurrection.

The nazarene is and has never been anything more than a tool to remove all true spiritual knowledge and disarm the populace of their spiritual powers. Humanity has paid to the tune of trillions upon trillions of dollars, and with sickness, misery, and suffering due to the removal of this knowledge. Spiritual knowledge was systematically destroyed, twisted, and corrupted to SPIRITUALLY AND FINANCIALLY ENSLAVE US ALL. By force-feeding the populace that the Nazarene is a real entity, those at the top have maintained control and have reaped untold wealth and power.

In Satanic terms - this could be a magic primer. This book will show you how to control your world, shape your destiny and alter your reality.

Seriously - the Secret looks like a fairy story compared to this.

Amadeus
Yes, Amadeus is funny, sad, musical, romantic, and even sexxxy; but its real value (IMHO) lies in what we can learn from it about the creative temperament. Great artists (sadly) usually ARE impulsive, hyper-sensitive, self-indulgent, non-conformists who are often also self- destructive. grin

Amadeus can easily be viewed as a tragic-comic essay on the artistic personality in general. It was this focus that made it such a valuable learning experience for me. It will remain on my personal top ten list of rewarding film experiences. wink

Decide carefully before attending film school. Film school is very expensive. Some people argue that using that same money to make a film is more valuable. Others insist that the lessons they learn at film school are invaluable and couldn't have been learned just by making their own films. If you decide to sink your money into making your own film, look at it as an alternative to film school, by which I mean don't expect your first film to be "theater ready", but expect to learn from your mistakes.Film school also can help you meet people in the right places. You will also have a degree which could help you if you have to go to a back up plan or down size your dream and become a teacher of film in high school. Please , for the sake of dabblers around this Nairaland i have decide to drop a word of encouragement for the ones that are interested in the '' MOVIE BUSINESS ''~ like i do and currently working on some projects as of now -- erm , dunno ask me boring questions . Film Production Companies Make Profitable Small Business . . . .

As a started http://www.brighthub.com/office/entrepreneurs/articles/49158.aspx business, film production companies have to be considered one  of the best . For example , did you know that film is a nationally subsidized business in so many Countries in the World Today? most especially in Nigeria  and in the United State of America .Many States offer large cash rebates that re Many states offer large cash rebates that return a percentage of the money spent in the state to the production companies who film there. Michigan currently offers a 40-42% tax rebate, New Mexico offers 25%, and Georgia offers a 30% rebate. Film is an attractive industry to have in a state because it provides high paying jobs, lots of tax revenues, produces little in the way of toxic waste, and its the kind of industry that can grow and prosper very quickly in the right environment.

Armed with this knowledge, you can create a film business plan that makes it much easier to find funding for your production.http://www.brighthub.com/office/entrepreneurs/articles/40035.aspx

Another nice thing about film is that it provides many possible revenue streams. Before production, a production company may be able to receive payment for integrating products into a film. After production it may be able to receive ticket revenues from theatrical releases, revenues from PPV and cable rights sales, overseas rights sales, broadcast television rights sales and DVD rights sales. These are just a few of the revenue streams a good, high quality film, can exploit. smiley

Finally, films are very fast turnaround businesses. Unilke an Internet startup which might take five years to turn a profit, or a manufacturing company which might take a decade, film production companies can develop a project, produce it, get it into theatrical release, and sell off its rights in a matter of three years. In some cases, films generate revenues for decades.

The intrepid souls that launch small businesses usually follow their heart in the businesses they choose. That's actually an important thing to do. Every small business requires endless twelve hour days and lots of hard work to launch. If you have a passion for film, a very solid understanding of small business management skills, the ability to identify commercially viable projects, and an absolute determination to produce the best films anyone has ever seen, starting a film production company may be the right decision for you. Taking this route is definitely a very viable career option for someone with a communications degree. http://www.brighthub.com/office/career-planning/articles/76546.aspx

Is a Film Production Company Really a Small Business?

Feature films and television shows rarely show you the truth about film production companies. That is because film production companies don't look all that exciting until the cameras start to roll. The truth is, most film production companies are composed of two to five people who work to put one or more films together. They may or may not have an office for most of the time they are working. They may not even have a dental plan. What they do have is a film they want to make and a blueprint for how it will be done.

A film production company is absolutely a small business all the way up until it is funded and it has moved into production. Then, for a period of weeks, it is a big business. It often has more than 100 employees, union contracts, large insurance policies, millions of dollars in its bank accounts and lots of people looking over its shoulder.

After that, the production company goes back to being small again. The footage shot by the production company is edited, music is added, special effects are put in, and the whole package is sold a few rights at a time to folks around the world.

What Does It Take to Launch a Film Production Company?

The first step in launching a film production company is to start an LLC or Corporation.http://www.brighthub.com/office/entrepreneurs/articles/39948.aspx  In most cases you will start an LLC because it protects your personal assets against being taken away if your production company is sued. Starting an LLC takes about two hours, requires two forms, and may obligate you to pay taxes in your state even in years you don't make money. It is something you may want to talk to a lawyer about.

The next step is finding, or writing, a great script that you want to produce and then building a business plan around it. There is a very clear and straight-forward path to creating a fundable feature film business plan. It requires hiring a line producer, getting a shooting schedule and budgets done, identifying key cast and crew, creating financial projections, developing a marketing plan, and creating a distribution plan.

Once the business plan is developed, you present it to business professionals as you would any other revenue opportunity. http://www.brighthub.com/office/finance/articles/16345.aspx There are several ways to structure the money you get to make a film. Some film productions are funded through loans. Some are funded through active investors. Some go to the expense of setting up a Private Placement which allows them to sell shares to investors. How you decide to structure funding has everything to do with the size of the film you want to make and the funders you are working with.

Once you have funding you produce the film as specified in the plan and start realizing the revenue streams it specifies.

Having produced one film, most production companies roll on to producing others. It is something that people get better at with practice.

Is It Really Feasible to Launch a Film Production Company?

Every start up business is good for one kind of person and not another. The guys that launch Google in their dorm room are not the folks that launch Estee Lauder in their kitchen.

Film production, as a business, requires that you be hard working, intelligent, practical, pragmatic, insightful and creative. You need exceptional verbal communication skills, great writing skills, a clean business history, and the ability to work in a fast changing business environment. It helps to have industry contacts so you can quickly find good line producers, key crew and great talent but these are things you can also acquire over time. It is very nice to start with $50K-$100K to develop your first project, but people have managed with less.

It is definitely possible to launch a successful film production company. For the right people it is the best business on earth. cool

TV/MoviesRe: New Movie : Cowboys And Aliens by Ogaga4Luv(m): 1:27pm On Oct 14, 2011
To be honest I had even figured out most of the surprises that weren't in the tailers, but who would go to see something called Cowboys & Aliens for the story? grin

The aliens are the typical reptilian conquerors from beyond the stars, bent on taking our resources and killing us all. They are in every way typical movie monster aliens. Again, that's the point~~ cheesy cheesy

This movie is good because it takes two things we've seen many times before, and locks them in a room together where they keep eyeing each other askance, and trying to pretend the other isn't there. When they are forced together, the results are explosive and fun. This is a western you've seen before, and this is the alien invasion you've seen before; but they're two classics that go great together. I think if they'd try to twist either of the two genres, that would have taken away from the other element.

The acting in the movie is great. Harrison Ford's best performance in a while. Daniel Craig seems at home in the wild west. I like Olivia Wilde's eyes kiss kiss wink .

Sam Rockwell and Adam Beach are always awesome. Everyone in this movie was straight outta a John Ford casting call.

The movie was shot in New Mexico. If I had to pick place I associate with both aliens and cowboys, that would be at the top of my list. Well, second. There's this rib joint in Alpha Centauri. . . . perhaps I've said too much. cheesy
