It's better they book their flight ticket to avoid delay.
Once Nigeria can't score they become frustrated. Close down d midfield & stop any service to Osimehin up front . Put a tall defender to check him and set d offside trap.
At 70 minute, launch a serious counter attack. Their body go don weak. That's when they will be conceding unnecessary fouls around d box. Train set peices. Send Nigeria back home. This guy, what kinda analysis is this? But that's how Nigeria play actually!! |

YesDaddyTill203: You see, I don't mind anyone saying all these good things, but it cannot be someone who had the opportunity to show these things but was not able to in 8years in office.
Someone like Sowore can make these kinds of statements and get away with it because he has not had the opportunity to show his capacity. He can make all sorts of crap promises, but not this Agulu failure. He had for 8 years and was a failure.
How can someone who was practically pathetic in 8 years as the Governor of just one state be making such an outlandish statement about doing all these on a national level when he failed to do such things on a smaller scale while in office for 8 good years?
I was hoping you could show me what you have done before, not what you are promising to do tomorrow.
Pls check out the dates on these tweets...these are some of what the citizens of his state said about him while he was Governor. Attack the Governments to do the needful no matter who's ruling whether federal, state or local. You guys are not smart at all, leave the messenger, let's get things right; better late than never! Politics › Re: Heirs Energies Acquires 20.07% Stake In Seplat Energy In $500 Million Deal by ogaontop(m): 4:43pm On Jan 04 |
grandstar: These last minute deals before the new year seems to be to avoid the 30% capital gains tax that goes into effect tomorrow.
That 30% is way to high. I would have urged 20% at most. It is currently 10%.
The corporate tax at 25% is also high. I haven't even included the withholding tax of 10%
The OECD countries (rich nations club) has an average corporate tax rate of 23.5%. If the government truly wants to encourage Foreign Direct Invest, it should nothing higher than 19.5%.
Manufacturing Association of Nigeria said it should be 20%. This you said is already an error on the side of Taiwo Oloyede and his committee which he has indirectly acknowledged because he's already hinting at a review of the tax law in 2026, citing reduction of capital gains tax to 25%, which is still very high compared to where it was before. We are not even talking of 25% corporate tax for a country that wants to attract investors? Considering inflation, security challenges, political and economic instability, these rates are meant to be lower than this. It is because of the aforementioned reasons that our rates on government bonds, treasury bills, e.t.c are way higher than those of the OECD countries, to make them attractive to investors; so CGT & CIT should also be made attractive to investors. You made a valid, feasible and smart analysis which many "boys" here won't understand what it means or how it may affect the economy. |

It is a known fact that human beings hate change, people like yourself who love the status quo, & add no benefit to society, speaking with both sides of your mouth making up excuses because u do not want to live up to your statutory obligation of paying your taxes. Inasmuch as here is a public forum where people reason brainlessly, if you've taken some patience to follow up on this Tax man right from day one, you will notice lots of confusions and controversies, all exactly from his mouth. He gives different interpretations to same things at different interview times; he's more or less confused. Paying tax is not the issue but the interpretations to the law is not simplified. This has been the problem of most of the laws being made in this country; courts will keep on interpreting on their discretion. The countries we look up to, why not see how straightforward and streamlined their tax system is? |

Proudlyngwa: Why I am against federal Government tax rubbish.
I believe tax is an obligation Tax is an obligation indeed, and no sane mind should go against tax, but the level of clarity in the new tax law is poor, many points were shrouded in unclear personal interpretations. Also, accountability in previously paid taxes is making Nigerians think they're wasting money by paying tax. What do we have to show for all the income generated in this country? Whether via taxes, borrowing, sales of crude or other earnings?? |

but the IQ is a poor measurement of intelligence because they focus mostly on logical/analytical skills, ignoring crucial aspects like creativity, emotional intelligence, wisdom, and practical skills. simigold: Is Nigeria really ready for such diversion? With the current state of security, border lapses, fake items and the high level of corruption in the system. The current port is corrupt and allowing multiple entry is akin to expanded corruption. Technology must be fully ready to capture revenue at the center No state or border in Nigeria has lesser corruption than others, and don't wait till you're fully ready before you start that life changing event or job. Learn on the job or business; there are jobs, businesses or even life events that you cannot be fully prepared (no matter how long you prepare) till you experience them! |
