Foreign Affairs / Abramovich’s Glamorous Daughter Sofia – Has Openly Criticized Putin. by Ogbuide17(m): 3:19am On Mar 17, 2022
Meet Roman Abramovich’s glamorous daughter Sofia – Chauffeured in bulletproof Range Rovers she has openly criticized Putin. The animal lover works for the eradication of child poverty and lives a life of luxury.
by Neha Tandon Sharma.

Abramovich, the name instantly brings to mind the image of a 55-year-old Russian oligarch and one of the richest men in the world. Roman Abramovich has an unending well of wealth with his $7.9 billion net worth. However, some treasures in his life are not related to his wealth, though they do use a lot of it. Sofia Abramovich is one such gem in the clan who adds adorable to affluent and subtracts snobbery from status.
The billion-dollar daddy’s girl exhibited a strong character that replaces blatant braggadocio of wealth with the heartfelt. She may be a real-life princess, but we comprehend her to be more than that. She is an animal lover, a traveler, and down-to-earth with billions in the bank. Learn more about the 27-year-old Sofia Ambramovich below:

Early life:
Sofia was born in Russia and moved to England in 2003 with her parents and elder siblings, Anna and Arkadiy. The third daughter of businessman, investor, politician, and Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich has six siblings and half-siblings from her father’s various marriages. Sofia is incredibly close to her mother, Irina
Roman’s second wife. The one-time air hostess was married to Roman Abramovich for almost 16 years.

Sofia has four siblings Anna, 30, Arkadiy, 28, Arina, 21, and Ilya, 19. The Russian citizen was born with a golden spoon and has lived a life of luxury since her first cry. Along with her siblings, Sofia attended the $31,000-a-year Godolphin and Latymer private school in West London.
Being children of the richest man in Israel and among the top wealthy Russians, the Abramovich children lived life with tight security. It was not a casual walk to school with pals. Sofia and her siblings took a helicopter flight into a Battersea heliport, where a chauffeur-driven car awaited them. A cluster of bodyguards kept her company on the five-mile journey to school.

Sofia’s mother confirmed in a very rare interview: “My life with Roman was not the fairytale the papers reported. For my security and our children, he hired a group of bodyguards from a protection agency. We changed mobile phone numbers once a week so no one could trace our whereabouts.”

She continued, “We were afraid of kidnapping attempts, yet we could not hide our children and not show them real life. So we went to theatres and museums with a crowd of bodyguards. Each year it got harder.”

These early years of Sofia’s life gave us a dekko into the flipside of being insanely rich. That walk back home with your crush starts seeming truly invaluable now, doesn’t it? After Sofia’s high profile divorce in 2007 (a much-talked-about $300 million settlement), she shuttled between London and the family’s 425-acre Fyning Hill Estate in Petersfield, West Sussex, given to Irina as part of her divorce settlement. Sofia took a business management course at Royal Holloway in Egham, Surrey. Certain things remain unchanged, like the chauffeur-driven, bulletproof Range Rovers.

Living large in London:
The daughter of the billionaire oligarch shuttles between two mansions, one in London and a 425-acre, $24 million estate in West Sussex. While her British visa status is unknown she has lived and thrived in London since 2003. The Swinging City features regularly on her Instagram feed.

Sofia also posted glamorous pictures of herself with friends on Instagram as they enjoyed the summer ball at Royal Holloway University, London.
This marked the end of her degree in management and marketing in the prestigious university. Sofia also shares breathtaking photos of her stunning abode in West Sussex making her the most interesting personality of the Russian billionaire’s brood.
Equestrian Sofia’s horses, Sofia’s refuge:
Living life under constant scrutiny is not easy. Especially when you’re not exactly a celebrity, you still have to bear the burden of it anyway due to being from a well-known family. Sofia found solace in her horses and dogs.
The equestrian’s idea of heaven is riding her horses. Sofia regularly posts pictures on social media posing with her horses at her own stables. This business graduate truly cherishes her time in her horses’ company from riding, posing, and snuggling the beautiful beasts. Over time, she’s become a passionate showjumper who took her love for horses beyond her stables.
Sofia was also riding for Russia at the Longines Global Champions Tour and Monaco events. Her almost 70K followers are well-acquainted with her horses Dora, Billy Fraulein, Bugsy, Percy, Princess Dora, Zara, Zanzibar, and adorable pony Merlin, to name a few.
Sofia loves her pet dogs just as much and posts several heart-warming photos with her dog Zeke as well.

Parties galore:
What’s the best part of being incredibly prosperous? Parties! Sofia may not be bragging about her affluent life on social media, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t having her share of fun. For her 18th birthday, the milestone was celebrated lavishly- a $40,000 extravaganza fit for an heiress.

The bash included chartering the entire snazzy ‘Under The Bridge’ nightclub, inviting no less than 500 friends, and partying the night away to the tunes of Scouting For Girls and McBusted. Grand parties have been a constant in Sofia’s life.
From her own parties to her daddy’s legendary New Year’s Eve extravaganzas on superyacht Eclipse, the fun never ends for the insanely rich people. For New Year in 2016, Sofia, her mother, and younger siblings opted for a more serene time at their usual haunt, the One & Only Reethi Rah luxury resort in the Maldives. For those unaware, the resort is the zenith of tropical luxury that would’ve easily set them back by at least a whopping $261,000.
Dealing with body image issues:
Sofia, the ambassador for Just World International, which tackles child poverty, is a woman of substance who has faced her share of challenges. Her body image issues were never hidden, with Sofia addressing them openly. She has never sugar-coated her reality, from talking about body positivity to sharing her own journey willingly.Sofia once shared, ‘Only recently have I realized that everyone has a different perfect. I may have never been perfect in other people’s eyes or even my own, but I have decided to be happy and positive.’ A friend recently told me that being healthy and dieting isn’t about losing weight, living longer, and looking better… it’s about letting your body (and mind) be happy now and giving it a chance to explain what it needs (thanks @howtogreen).’High-flying lifestyle:
This sweet 27-year old daughter of Chelsea F.C. owner Roman Abramovich has experienced the best things money can buy. From hopping over to the family pad in Antibes (by private jet, naturally), drinking the finest champagne, or spending $250,000 on a New Year’s break with her celebrity friends, the Beckhams, a great time has never eluded Sofia Abramovich. Her social media account showcases her love of horses, champagne, and exotic holidays.Travel:
Talking of exotic holidays, Sofia has already enjoyed several places from tropical to temperate, more than an average Joe enjoys in a lifetime. Add her billionaire daddy’s luxurious and largest superyachts; you naturally take to a jet-setting, sea-faring lifestyle. Sofia does it all, from posing on opulent yachts to exploring hidden gems of nature in new locations. The young business graduate has vacationed steadily in St Barts, Ibiza, and Tokyo. On more than one occasion, the heiress has been spotted at the hub of fashion and haute couture, Rodeo Drive, Paris, and the family-favorite destination Maldives.
Will Sofia Abramovich become the next Ivanka Trump?
Despite not being a regular fixture on the London social scene, Sofia’s social life is threatened by the ongoing scenario and her father’s role in it. Daily Mail described Sofia as one of the most eligible blondes in London aka Britain’s richest teen. Her word cannot be ignored but could her presence be owing to her father’s ties with Putin? Sofia took to Instagram to share her anti-war sentiment. Her post read: ‘The biggest and most successful lie of Kremlin’s propaganda is that most Russians stand with Putin.’ She also shared an image of Putin with a red line across him.
Will the sanctions on Roman Abramovich and restrictions affect his seven rich kids remains to be seen? Whether it will make Sofia suffer the same fate as Ivana Trump, who was cold-shouldered by New York elites after her father was elected, is something time will tell.

Travel / How A Ghanaian Rose From A Cleaner To The US White by Ogbuide17(m): 12:44am On Mar 17, 2022
How a Ghanaian rose from a cleaner to the US White House and now set to be a neurosurgeon.

Kwadwo Sarpong arrived in the United States from Ghana in 2009. He had won a green card to come to the U.S. and was already a first-year university student in Ghana. So, his idea was to transfer to a four-year school in the U.S. straight away.

But things didn’t go as planned for the Ghanaian student. Upon his arrival in the U.S., Sarpong realized that transferring to a four-year institution in the U.S. was virtually impossible. Meanwhile, he needed to take care of himself and his family back home in Ghana, so for his first three years in the U.S., he cleaned hospital floors and worked at Walmart.

While cleaning hospital floors, he met a physician, who gave him a piece of good advice that would help change his life for the better.

“There was a surgeon at the hospital who basically saw me one time and started talking to me. He said, ‘Hey, you’re pretty young to be cleaning, what do you want to do?’ ” Sarpong recalled recently in an interview with Georgetown University Medical Center.

He said he told the surgeon that he wanted to study. The surgeon advised him to start out at the community college level. Sarpong paid attention to the advice and enrolled at Georgia Perimeter College, which is now Perimeter College at Georgia State University.

A professor subsequently urged Sarpong to go for an eight-week summer research program which partnered with Georgia State University. He had the chance to study breast cancer during the program, and explored “the modification of certain drugs through an organic chemistry synthesis,” he said. He soon found his passion for research thanks to the program.

And with his research experience at the community college level, he transferred to Emory University in 2013. As he was doing neuroscience research at Emory, Sarpong stumbled across statistics about women in STEM, particularly in African countries, and how they are largely underrepresented in the sciences. There and then, he knew he wanted to do something about it.

He sought help from his classmates, and together, they conducted a survey in Ghana and found that most women in the sciences had no knowledge about non-medical career opportunities in STEM fields. “Most women had no idea that you could get a PhD in biochemistry or have your own lab,” he said. “They only thought of the medical aspect.”

The survey findings inspired Sarpong to co-found the African Research Academies for Women (ARAW), a nonprofit organization that helps Ghanaian women pursue careers in STEM outside of medicine. Sarpong, who was now CEO of ARAW, helped bring in place the first fully funded eight-week summer research program in Ghana that allows undergraduate students to gain professional development and practical skills in the sciences.

In 2015, Sarpong graduated with a degree in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University in 2015 but he decided to postpone medical studies to focus fully on ARAW.

“I wanted this nonprofit to last, so I decided to take off two years to focus on it,” he said.

“I wanted this nonprofit to last, so I decided to take off two years to focus on it,” he said.

His commitment to his nonprofit throughout college and after yielded good results. Sarpong was invited to the White House by President Barack Obama for the United States-Africa Leaders Summit in 2014. There, he met with some cabinet members to discuss research, and the invitation helped ARAW gain support and become more popular.

Receiving an email to the summit not too long after starting his organization was surprising to Sarpong. “At first I thought it was a scam so I ignored it, but after contacting an official from Ghana I realized it was not a scam, and actually gained the opportunity again to attend, so I did,” Sarpong told The Christian Journal.

That wasn’t all. Sarpong also spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative University Conference, the White House United State of Women Summit, the University of Virginia’s Center for Global Health Research Symposium, and Columbia University’s African Economic Forum. Thanks to the exposure he received, his nonprofit grew.

“We started with five students in the summer research program, then it increased to 10 or 15 per summer. More than 50 students have passed through our program,” he said in 2019. “Right now, most of our students are doing master’s and PhD programs all over the world. It’s amazing.”

But while working with his organisation, Sarpong knew that he needed to focus on himself and continue his education. Still having dreams to study medicine, he came to Georgetown in 2017 through the Georgetown Experimental Medical Studies (GEMS) program. Through the program, he learned the skills he needed to apply to medical schools including Georgetown.

“I chose Georgetown because I’m able to stay involved in research. It provides the best opportunities, in my opinion. I didn’t struggle to find a research mentor,” he said.

Today, Sarpong, who was the only member of his family to move to the United States from Ghana, is grateful for how far he has come and for being able to impact the lives of others.

And after hard work and dedication, he is going to be a neurosurgeon, making him the first physician in his family, he said.

Sarpong is a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama. He has also been recognized as part of Emory University’s 40 Under 40 and the recipient of the Young African Committed to Excellence from Face2Face Africa.

Today is 16th march, how far?

Court adjourns hearing on Biafra referendum filed by Coalition of Northern groups

A Federal High Court in Abuja, has adjourned a hearing on a suit filed by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) seeking a referendum to determine the fate of Biafra and other self-determination agitation groups in the country.

Justice Inyang Ekwo, said some parties, who sought to join the suit, were yet to serve the plaintiff a notice and adjourned the case till May 20.

CNG’s lead counsel, Sufiyanu Gambo Idris, told reporters on Monday, March 14 that “some groups filed applications to be joined in the suit without our knowledge and two persons have applied for joinder which I just found out in court, even though they are saying they have already served our address of service but they have not been brought to my notice.

“The judge looked into that and he said it would be neater if all the five applications for joinder are taken once and it would give us opportunity to amend and process because after parties have been joined, we need to amend and process to reflect those parties that have been joined.
Reacting to the development, CNG’s spokesperson, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said the group was happy that a lot of other groups were picking interest in the case.

Thats a reminder; they keep running away; from there court.

Politics / Biafra: Yoruba, Efik Groups Join CNG Suit For Referendum by Ogbuide17(m): 4:14pm On Mar 16, 2022
Nigeria: Biafra Referendum - Again, Court Adjourns Suit Till May 20
The demand for a referendum on secession of Biafra from Nigeria assumed a front burner on Thursday with the Yoruba and Efik ethnic nationalities filing an application to be part of the suit filed by the Coalition of Northern Groups.

The CNG had in June 2021, dragged the National Assembly, Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), to Court asking them to conduct a referendum to determine the fate of Biafra agitators.

The case was first adjourned till January 20, 2022, after Justice Inyang Ekwo could not sit due to an official assignment.

But the case could not be heard again on Thursday because the Judge was said to be indisposed.

The counsel for CNG, Safiyanu Idris, told Journalists that the case had been adjourned again, to March 14, 2022, because Justice Ekwo was absent.

“Since the last adjournment, the matter was adjourned to today (January 20) for the continuation of motion as they are people that have filed an application to join the suit.

“We came here for the applications but it happened that the Judge is also not sitting today.

But in between the time, there is a particular group. The Ijaw group have filed an application for joinder in the matter. Now the matter is adjourned to the 14 of March 2022.

The CNG had gone to Court to seek a referendum to determine the fate of Biafra and other separatist organisations in Nigeria.

The Spokesperson of CNG, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, has explained why the coalition filed the suit.

He said, “What we are doing is to save the country, ourselves and the future of the country because these people are becoming violent already. Most of the people engaged in this activity are below 50.

“So, if we allow our leaders to leave us with these people in this situation, there may be another bloodshed or civil war. That is what we want to avoid, which is why we came to the court to interpret the situation.

“One of the issues for determination in the substantive suit has to do with the legal obligation of the 2nd – 4th defendants/respondents to provide a framework that will pave the way for the self-determination of the South-Eastern states and any other enclave that wants to go so as to leave the geographical entity called Nigeria before any further step is taken to review the constitution.
Speaking on his decision to join the suit, counsel to the Yoruba nation, Timilehin Odunwo, said, “We now deem it fit to join this suit on the ground that not only the Igbo that is interested in leaving this contraption called Nigeria, the Yoruba nation is also interested.
Therefore, any other call for a referendum should cut across the board of all tribes. Let every tribe have the right to determine whether to live in the country or to move out.

“As you know, self-determination is a very sacrosanct right of every citizen and tribe as it is recognized by the international community.

“Therefore, it is incumbent on the National Assembly, if our application is granted that let everybody decide whether to stay or leave.

“You cannot force an unwilling tribe on a willing nation. It will not work.”

Also, Lead Counsel to Old Calabar Province which is made up of Akwa Ibom and Cross River states, Sunday Uko Afiko said, “We do not want to sit at home while they barb our hair in our absence. So, we came all the way from Uyo to be part of this matter.

“But it is quite unfortunate that the Court is not sitting. We hope that the next adjourn date which is March 14 that the court would sit, we will move our motion and be part of this case which has to decide the fate of everybody. We are not opposing the application.”

“We are saying that it should not just be the South Eastern states that should leave; everybody should be given the opportunity to decide whether they want to be part of Nigeria or not.
We want to also be given the opportunity to decide our fate. Let there be a national referendum for everybody to vote,” he said.

Another adjournment.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned till May 20, 2022 hearing on the suit filed by the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) seeking a referendum to determine fate of Biafra and other self-determination agitations.

Justice Inyang Ekwo who presided over the matter for the first time but the court could not proceed on the ground that some parties who seek to join the suite have not served the plaintiff, said the case have to be adjourned so that all parties can serve the plaintiff.

Speaking to journalists after the adjournment, counsel to CNG, Barrister Sufiyanu Gambo Idris, said, "Previously there are parties that filed application to be joined to three sets of parties, without our knowledge and there is two persons that applied for joinder which I just found out in court, even though they say they have already served our address of service but they have not been brought to my notice.

President Buhari looked at Dr. Baker and said, “I hope you have a copy of the election results. The constituents, for example, gave me 97% [of the vote] cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with constituencies that gave me 5%.”

The statement immediately elicited fireworks across Nigeria and has continued to define the legacy of Mr Buhari’s presidency. He has since sidelined the Igbo-dominated South-East from national security, economy and other critical areas of democratic governance.

Mr Buhari did not apologise or walk back his comments more than six years on, and Mr Adesina’s response to Vanguard on the matter indicates the administration’s intention to dig its heels in.

“The highest place where Buhari got maybe about 20% was Abia due to Kalu’s influence, in Ebonyi because David Umahi even when he was in PDP had always loved the President,” Mr Adesina said. “He didn’t score more than 20% anywhere even when what he required was 25%. So the southeasterners will need to readdress their politics, play more national politics.”

“You first take care of the needs of those who gave you 95% before those who gave you 5%, it is natural,” he added.

So dig in ; do your research.
Ndigbo and Buhari hates each other ; its mutual. grin

Politics / Fuel Scarcity: Buhari, Three Other Officials Who Failed Nigerians by Ogbuide17(m): 6:54am On Mar 14, 2022
For weeks, Nigerians have faced the worst petrol crisis the country has seen in at least a year.

Filling stations across the country have either closed or have been operating intermittent schedules that leave very long queues permanently at their gates. With the country’s erratic electricity supply, many businesses depend on petrol to be able to open their doors to their customers.

Forced to buy the product from the “black market”, the crisis has left a hole in the pockets of citizens at a time Nigerians are also groaning under a rising inflation that has pushed up prices of every commodity. The government has failed to see through its repeated promises to end the crisis after many weeks.

The recent scarcity, as it has now been explained by the federal government, was as a result of an off-spec product imported into the country. The off-spec petrol has further compounded the woes of Nigerians as the product has been reportedly damaging vehicles and generating sets.

Nigeria does not have a refinery that can match its local demand. The country averages a crude production of 1.6 million barrels per day.

The scarcity elicited a blame game. Although the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is mainly in charge of importing petrol, it blamed five other oil companies for the off-spec product.

The names of MRS, Emadeb, Brittania-U, Oando and Duke Oil came up when the discussion on the debacle was at its peak.

But who is really at fault? Nigerians hold four top officials of the government responsible for the fuel fiasco.

Muhammadu Buhari;

President Muhammadu Buhari, who doubles as the minister of petroleum resources, is responsible for every decision and policy related to Nigeria’s petroleum industry, including the upstream, midstream and downstream. Refining, importation, distribution and sales of petrol are upstream and midstream operations, and the petroleum minister oversees these activities.

Before assuming office in 2015, Mr Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC), his party, promised to revamp the refineries but after more than seven years, Nigeria continues to import petrol to meet its local need.

If the refineries were working, a portion of the country’s local demand could have been met locally.

Petrol scarcity was frequent under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan – a problem the APC latched upon to campaign in the build-up to the 2015 elections.

Interestingly, Nigeria is the only OPEC+ country importing petrol.

The president, who should take full responsibility for the scarcity and off-spec product, and work towards the speedy resolution of the problem, simply ordered an investigation – and weeks after nothing has been heard about the probe.

Mr Buhari is currently in the UK on a medical trip.

Timipre Sylva;

In an event the substantive minister fails to perform his functions, the minister of state for petroleum resources is expected to provide a stand-in support on all operational directions of the ministry. As such, Timipre Sylva, is expected to proffer solutions that could be adopted by the president.

Mr Sylva said the scarcity was an accident that was not foreseen, and that the problem would be solved in a few days.
Sylva;
“You will agree with me that these are conversations as far as fuel supply is concerned, but of course, accidents do happen,” he was quoted by Nairametrics as saying. “This is one of those accidents that was not foreseen, but I am quite happy to hear from the GMD and the authority chief executive all that they are doing to ensure that this problem is brought under control.

“From what they have told me, I believe that in a matter of days, we will be back to normal. Everybody is putting every effort to ensure that the supply disruption is solved.”

The government has given the same assurances for weeks without solving the problem.

Mele Kyari;

Mele Kyari, NNPC group managing, said quality inspectors tested the off-spec petrol but did not check the percentage of methanol, an additive.

Analysts have wondered why the country would be importing fuel without thorough checks.

Mr Kyari has repeatedly promised to end the scarcity and the queues but this is yet to be achieved.
Representatives Committee on Petroleum, the NNPC boss assured of enough supply that will reduce the queue within days.

“NNPC Ltd wishes to reassure Nigerians that it has put adequate measures in place to accelerate the nationwide distribution of PMS earlier disrupted by the quarantine of methanol-blended petrol.

As of today, NNPC has over 1 billion liters of certified PMS stock that is safe for use in vehicles and machinery.

“To accelerate distribution across the country, we have commenced 24-hour operations at our Depots and Retail outlets,” a statement from the corporation on February 16 had stated.

More than two weeks after, the situation, if anything, has become worse.

Farouk Ahmed;

Farouk Ahmed, chairman of the newly Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, is meant to oversee the local value chain of the product in the country.

However, the new organisation, formerly the Department of Petroleum Resources, appears not to have found its footing in the scheme of things.

Days after the scarcity started, Mr Ahmed made the following announcement in Lagos.
Today, I am happy to say that loading has been going on in most of the depots because we have been able to identify, isolate and quarantine the limited amount of gasoline that was affected by the methanol volume that was discovered,” he said.

“We have vessels that have arrived in the country recently. At least six arrived in the last few days ordered by the NNPC, carrying a total volume of close to 300 million liters, just to close the gap created by those vessels we have withdrawn from the system.”

Those promises have since proven empty.

Lovenorth:
I knew it was a fake news by the ipob terrorists

IPOB is a proscribed group.
: to condemn or forbid as harmful or unlawful : PROHIBIT
IPOB have sued;until they found guilty by your Fulani court ;you cant call them a terrorists group;they are fighting a just cause;fighting the jajaweeds;fulani foot soldiers ;rapeing;killing ;displacing ;and grabbing indigenous peoples land all over Nigeria.

Buhari Government Disobeys Court Order By Labelling Our Group Proscribed – IPOB
The group reiterated that Justice Binta Nyako on March 2, 2017, had ruled that it should not be labelled as an outlawed group, therefore criticising the Nigerian government for remaining in impunity.

It, however, expressed confidence that the group would soon get justice at the International Criminal Court where it had dragged the Buhari-led government to, while urging its members to remain calm at the brink of freedom.
The group made these known in a statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, obtained by SaharaReporters on Tuesday.

The statement read, “Notwithstanding the malicious propaganda and blackmail from agents of darkness, IPOB is not only a peaceful movement but a lawful organisation as well. Nigeria has a history of impunity when it comes to adherence to court orders and judgments issued by courts of competent jurisdiction, so we are not surprised that the Nigeria establishment in collaboration with purveyors of falsehood have continued to thread the same part of shamelessly dishing out lies and propaganda against us despite a ruling by her own court that IPOB is not unlawful.

“In the landmark ruling, the court said that the fact that IPOB was not an organisation registered in Nigeria did not make it an illegal society. In her words, the Honourable Justice ruled thus, “It may be true that IPOB is not registered in Nigeria, but does that make it an illegal organisation?” the judge queried.

“Justice Nyako held that the Federal Government failed to prove that IPOB, allegedly managed by Kanu and his co-defendants — Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, is an unlawful society. So, if the federal government could not prove that IPOB is a terrorist organisation before its own court, is it then before the ICC (International Criminal Court) that it can prove the contrary?

“The Nigeria Government already knows that we are prepared for it at the International Criminal Court, ICC. Just very soon we shall meet there! The whole world is also aware of all the atrocities of the Nigeria Government through the instrumentality of its terrorist security agencies against the innocent and non-violent people of Biafra. Very soon we shall get the justice that we have been asking for. Biafra shall be actualised in our lifetime.”

The number of people facing "crisis" levels of food insecurity (124 million) is rising. The main cause is new or ongoing conflict, says the UN, in places like:

Yemen: 17 million
Nigeria: 8.9 million
DR Congo: 7.7 million
Afghanistan: 7.6 million
Syria: 6.5 million

Birds of the same feathers; flock together.
Nigeria new best friend's; Our own league of nations.
Welcome to our reality;
The one Nigerianist ;this is your future (Yemen;DR Congo;Afghanistan;Syria)
Reality sucks.

Ayemileto:

Based on the full article, I don't think it applies to business men (like Dangote) because they aren't doing big boy around town, and they are not using the loans to purchase liabilities. Instead, they are investing with it.

As for the cost of Dangote refinery, I don't know of banks that borrow people more money than their collateral sha. Maybe they exist and I just don't know.

But, as at when Dangote started his refinery, the cost was supposed to be $8billion (I saw it in newspapers then). I don't know if they changed the initial plan for the cost to have jumped so high, or maybe it's because of inflation.

But, I think the $19billion tag placed on the refinery might be to avoid questioning on the $3.2billion NNPC paid for 20% stake.

Let's not also forget FG sells forex to Dangote at a cheaper rate because of the refinery. So, it might as well be to get much more forex out at a cheaper rate.

What I'm saying is that, it might not cost up to the $19billion price tag. The price could have been inflated for several reasons. shocked

Fulani= Nigeria is our piggy bank
Nigeria is poor right now; let him continue building his refinery nah. grin

It's their lifestyle! AGF Malami, is a fulani man and they protect their own even if they're terrorists. Buhari said, Attack on boko haram terrorists is attack on the north.

"The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities of the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future." ~ Ahmadu Bello

What would've happened if Abba Kyari is a Yoruba man or from the he east, walahi! Buhari & malami would've ORDERED Air peace to carry him to the US...

When MNK will talk about this Northerners and their agenda myopic and envious Southerners like Yorubas and efulefu Igbos,Politicians,Ohaneze,Governors will come for the head of MNK and his disciples. This is just the beginning,Fear North.

Nothing comes out of north even if you're a criminal, you're Innocent
That is why they forgive bokoharam, bandits, terriost, fulani's herdsmen etc
As expected first mission accomplished
Now lets fissle out the drug case
Then we can talk about his reinstatement into NPF grin grin grin

AGF Did Not Investigate And Indict Kyari, FBI Did. Why Not Allow The FBI To Do The Trial. If He Is Clean, He Will Be Freed. Why Is AGF Constituting Himself As A Court, And Making A Ruling Before Trial?
This Is Absurd And Affront To The Rules Of Law That The AGF Sworn To. Too Bad.

Don't waste your time discussing s gait accompli. The Fulani will always protect their own even if he is Satan. The events of terrorism and land grabbing technics in the contraption are examples numerous to count. The earlier southerners quit the Nigeria slave camp, the better.

It's their lifestyle! AGF Malami, is a fulani man and they protect their own even if they're terrorists. Buhari said, Attack on boko haram terrorists is attack on the north. Fulani controlled north Nig., supported him and voted him into power.

Celebrities / Traci Braxton Dead At 50 From Cancer by Ogbuide17(m): 11:26pm On Mar 12, 2022
9:30 AM PT -- Toni Braxton took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt message saying ... "It is with the utmost regret that we inform you of the passing of our sister, Traci. Needless to say, she was a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer. We will miss her dearly."

Traci's Husband Kevin Surratt tells TMZ ... "We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for Esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."

We're told Traci's sisters, mom and friends were by her side when she passed.

Traci appeared on the family's reality show, "Braxton Family Values." She was an actress, best known for "Sinners Wanted." She also appeared in "There's a Stranger in my House" and "Chaaw." She recorded a hit song, "Last Call," that rose to #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also recorded "Broken Things" featuring her sisters, Toni, Towanda and Trina.
The family has experienced other recent tragedies. Her niece, Lauren Braxton, died from a heroin and fentanyl OD back in 2019 at age 24.

The last time we saw Traci she was joking and laughing with our cameras on the streets of NYC in April 2019.

Traci leaves a husband, Kevin Surratt and a child.

She was 50.
