Jogs1900: If you understand politics, you should know that the opposition parties can be easily penetrated..LP, YPP, PDP, NNPP and SDP.
Don't forget that all Rivers state senators are voting APC...SDP will vote APC too. NNPP can play ball if APC offers them something tangible. Think about it . is it APC or the candidate campaigning like gbajia did 2019... But then I don't think Yari is popular enough to beat Akpabio in a contest... but I think speakership is where issue go happen I don't see Abbas from kaduna winning since rumors suggest he has been annioted... IamNat: Is there anyone APC will present that PDP will support? They will always be against anything backed by the APC, so this is not surprising in any way.
Also I see those people who said Tinubu won't win the presidential election throwing caution to the wind again. They are always fast to jump on anything against Tinubu and time and time again, the man as always proven them wrong. Well let them enjoy this few days of bragging again until Akpabio becomes the SP when they will revert back to their default mode of always wailing.
Finally, I'm glad they have agreed now that Tinubu will be sworn in as the president, they may not agree by their words but by mere discussing Akpabio as SP who has been nominated by BAT, one way or the other, they have agreed.
I also see some southerners shouting that what PDP is doing is great, they have forgotten that those people are rooting for a northern SP, before they'll latter come and be castigating Tinubu for not evenly distributing appointment o.
And unfortunately for PDP, constitutionally, SP can only come from APC which is the majority party, so wether they like it or not, APC will still be SP. it's similar to how ACN then supported tambuwai against PDP choice of mukailat for speaker... During GEJ time... it's Politics... Akpabio need to campaign well simple and opposition guys vote matter on nass floor that day |

Masterito: You are a big fool. It is even funny you don't know the difference between the parliament and prime minister. Before you talk shit next find out the powers of the king or queen of the British people. Find out how the monarchy moves from person to person. And lastly, the UK run a parliamentary system of government with the prime minister as the head, find out who has the power to approve or dissolve that parliament head by the prime minister. The is the head is state, which is the King at the moment. I won't engage you further because you aggressively sounded foolish. you are an idiot Very stupid and foolish... Animal... Masterito: And one more thing, the Prime Minister (acting with the Cabinet) makes the key political decisions on the use of the armed forces. The King, however, remains the supreme authority of the military. You think UK will change the face of the Queen to the King face on very Pounds note for ceremonial reason instead of authority. It is funny how you foolish comment with boldness yet full.of trash. The king is constitutionally more powerful than than Prime Minister. I even had to ask a Royal Airforce guy this yesterday and he said the King power is usually silent but powerful than that of the prime minister when used. It is funny how you Nigerians think you know more than the Brits themselves. Lol. It is just like saying the President of Iran is more powerful than Ayotallah Khoemeni. Man you are stinkingly ignorant and I won't engage you further. you don't need to engage self cos u just want to bamboozle someone with I stay in uk like only u stay there... Iran and UK are two different societies... That the monarchy has boundaries it can cross shows limit to their Powers and hence it's remain a constitutional monarchy with ceremonial powers that are more soft than supreme.. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: ''NOT MY KING'' - In UK, Thousands Protest Against The Monarchy (Pics) by OGHENAOGIE(m): 5:18pm On May 06, 2023 |
lhordspy: Three factors playing out:
1. The King isnt as popular as the Late queen Elizabeth. The people are not use to the change yet and they dont seem like they want to or going to get use to it anytime soon.
2. The Late Princess Diana death is still playing against everyone in the royal family. The Citizens still looking for scapegoats. The Queen consort, Camillia is always the victim here.
3. I think the citizens are tired of not being able to elect their leader themselves. They want a president not some fancy kingdom with kings and queens.
They wish to vote their leader themselves. They want to be the decider and for that to happen, they need to scrap the monarchy system entirely.
Not very possible with the way things stand. but they have parliament and prime minister... Again even during queen time dissent de... Pple ll always disagree just like some pple ll say tinubu isn't president but nothing they can do about it.. the monarchy in UK has constitutional backing |

Masterito: You are the one with ignorance here. Do you wonder why the Prime minister pledges respect to the King? If it was a business, the King is the Business Owner/CEO while the Prime minister is the manager. There is a reason every top government institution has the word "Royal" attached to them, for instance Royal Airforce or Royal Navy. The king is powerful than the prime minister. The power is usually silent but in the face of anarchy in government that power will be displayed. I am currently in the UK as I chat you, I tell you the reality on ground. You can even use Google to educate yourself. that u are in UK means nothing morons full abroad ok... The pm has the real Powers... The power of the royals is ceremonial and they know their boundaries... Running a country isn't same as running a business or company so that example is pure nonsense... The pm is voted by the way not appionted the King just for formality ll invite pm to form govt and only parliament can ensure pm losses power not king... Ur living in UK should be kept aside ok... If king get power king Edward the 8th wouldn't have step down when parliament ask him to choose between marrying a divorcee which wasn't lawful then and the throne... that he abdicated for his younger brother king George Queen Elizabeth father to take over shows the royal family and Powers has boundaries ok... So I hope you take the education and stop trying to use I stay UK bamboozle anyone |

Bigkoko: Exactly..... In all you do, be open & tell it the way as it is. You might get disappointed in some cases but in other cases, it might be your saving grace. Where they were sneaky about it, they forgot to run simple tests here in Nigeria, just like Tinubu & Mahmud dey run the rigging sharp sharp, they forgot to rig Abuja! Now, e don hang for their throat!
I am a father, and i know a father will do anything to save his child. So called Christian don't even know this simple thing, yet they celebrate Jesus birth & death, and claim Salvation. Mad people everywhere.
If this is not political for a former sin, Ekwe commited knowingly or unknowingly as a senator, i tell you a good lawyer would easily get a favorable judgement at appeal.
1. UK was informed. 2. Ekwes are the victim here. 3. Its not a crime for people to donate organs. 4. Establish a link between people who coached the snitch & the snitch. 5. The issue of free will can be easily established as it was not even a secret. Given negative test runs, No crime was actually commited. But sha na Nigerian politician. Make he face the music.
This is political. Every damn thing you see that affect Africa & her leaders whether good or bad is political. But if it was in USA, Canada where democracy & rule of law is actually practiced, i am sure some private investigators would easily come up with irrefutable evidences. Ekwes would have been discharge, the boy offered asylum 7 everyone goes away with some sort of victory & lessons. Not this overhyped, horse loving island nation of thieves & invaders. Heard South Africa has officially requested a repatriation of the stolen jewel their monarch so shamelessly wears on his crown!
But know this and know peace. Avoid poor people like a plague because they will seen every situation as a way to get rich quick, without conscience, without remorse. Let him enjoy his asylum but he will never have a private life like any normal young man, as his snitching will make everyone that knows him mindful of dealings with him.
Also, If Ekwes was alive to his responsibility as a senator, The UK govt would have been the one on trial for all the crimes committed against indigenous Nigerians hundred of years ago. But.......what a bunch a stupid politicians we have in Nigeria!
UK would have be paying reparations for each of the villages they invaded, cart away their artifacts....these are crimes committed ..open evidence that can be seen in their museums! But what stupid politicians we have in Nigeria, especially the drug lord with traceable real estate in UK...... as a poorly informed Obidients u had to drag Mahmud yakubu... Abuja is now special that votes from there are important than Lagos or Kano or benue... Some of u are really ignorant... If elections were really rigged u think LP ll win Abuja Lagos or APC ll lose katsina yobe kaduna gombe to PDP where they had gorvenor in charge or guys like ortom Ayade ikpeazu ll lose Senate bid but cos Obi Lost many of u Lost ur senses too that u can no longer reason properly... You simply can't offer money or gift to someone for an organ . It's a "donor" means it's for free will without any attachments. that's what landed onnoghen in trouble that led to petition which rope him collecting gifts which a judge or justice shouldn't ethically... jUeLiZ: Read the lawyers comments during the trial. It was said that even though the boy accepted to do so, he did it because he was poor and sen Ike took advantage of that.. And by UK law you can donate organs but not for monetary benefits. Once you collect money as compensation whether you agreed to it or not, it becomes a crime. just like statutory rape...
