It's up to them to know what to do.

Nobody will hold guns to their heads if they refuse to vote Abbas. I am only saying that a President who is trying to push his favoured Candidate to become Speaker is not undemocratic provided the means is within the realms & ambits of Party Politics, law and order.

I am not saying Abbas is good or bad. Come to think of it, Abbas had the highest number of passed bills in both the 8th & 9th Assemblys combined. I am not singing his praise neither am I denigrating him however the Speaker is the first amongst equals, so he must command the respect of his colleagues.

Let's not cry more than the bereaved, if they are not comfortable, they know what to do.
lobbying is part of politics and nothing is wrong if a presidency or party want a particular person but nass members have to be carried along... Otherwise it's tantamount to nass hijack... Sponsoring of bills is immaterial here he has to command respect of his colleagues to precides over them that's what saraki had that saw him winning in 2015... Lawan would have Lost to saraki no matter the situation... If I were abas I ll campaign to my colleagues and eke deals with them... If wase or betara does better then abas ll Lose out... As for Senate o don't see who ll beat Akpabio... Not kalu making noise osita izunaso is even going about his ambition in a better way...

Gbaja and Lawan didn't campaugn to win on their merit. The opposition was too dazed to recover. They lost in sublime fashion and lost balance, infact there was no leader.

Saraki was gone, majority of his allies were stifled. Have you forgotten that even when Danjuma Goje wanted to pull a Saraki, the President had to intervene by speaking with him perhaps in exchange of his corruption trial with the EFCC.

The issue with Tajudeen is that in the House, the APC doesn't have a healthy majority, if they did... It would have been history.
Most of the defiance you see now is because the President-Elect is not yet PRESIDENT.

After May 29, the story won't be the same... Some are just looking for deals to get by. I will have loved Wase but NC has been allegedly given the SGF.

The President wants someone who will command the respect of his colleagues and ensure his own policies are guided.
speaking with goje is part of d campaign and yes unlike 2015 when they use party supremacy to try to shut up saraki and dogara 2019 gbajia and Lawan campaign across party lines that's why it was a PDP onofiok luke who nomination gbajia for elections on inuaguration day... Nass politics isn't party politics... In 2015 dogara would have align if he was allowed to be deputy to gbajia but he was told to go to hell and of course opposition sided with him just like acn help tambuwai to rebel against PDP choice mukailat in 2011... Like I said Akpabio is popular enough even without party endorsement he ll win again shutin out NC isn't the issue... Is tajudeen abas popular Amongst his colleagues if he isn't he ll lose like others and heaven ll remain the same... So if tinubu ll president he ll force nass members to vote tajudeen if they don't want him abi... ?? U guys are funny Sha

Even in the USA, the party decides who leads the legislative arm when they are in the majority.

Nothing new here.
members of the house decide who leads them not Party... The house isn't an extension of Party.. or the others like wase betara campaigning for speaker aren't they APC guys or izunaso kalu nobi APC again... ?? If reps says they want wase not tajudeen abas ll heaven fall??

Don't let anybody lie to you. Even in SUG politics, once a President is elected even before swearing-in, his number one focus is who becomes Speaker of the SRC.

If you become President, you will toe this path because you want balance and not someone breathing down your neck. Even in the US and Democracy all over, that has been the pattern.
but the president must be discerning enough to know who members want... In 2015 nothing would have stopped saraki to be Senate president... Trying to impose an unpopular candidate ll backfire... This is where tajudeen abas ll have issues unlike Akpabio... In 2019 gbajia and Lawan campaign to all colleagues and won on their merit... APC should allow members campaign let who is popular and accepted win simple and short after al even during APC president primaries tinubu himself opposed consensus and said he would accept defeat at the field...

If ignorance was a person. I don't know why I'm wasting my time talking to a dunce .LP is a regional party and won Lagos State? LP is a regional party and won ABJ ? LP is a regional party and PDP situation room is telling you that LP won Lagos with over 900k votes? LP is a regional party and they won in almost all PU close to military installation where APC thugs can't snatch ballot? I don't mean to insult you but the truth is that you lack sound reasoning. Keep deiving your self. You think LP agents didn't take snap shots of all the form EC8A from the PU where APC thugs didn't desrupt before they took them to LGA collation centers where tippes was used to allocate votes to APC by INEC officials?
see how foolish you are how come LP was able to win just Abia State in gorvenor elections...?? Anyone who believe the nonsense of LP getting 900k votes in Lagos is a big fool... Am only telling u the notion of rigging by u guys is absolute rubbish if the elections were really rigged LP won't even see 1 million votes... And yes LP is a regional party like NNPP APGA SDP... Only PDP APC can win national elections like president if u don't see it I can't help your ignorance... Let obi continue to run on LP he ll lose til eternity... Am sure u do know current president buhari was in same position getting huge votes from North East and West with his regional party like ANPP and CPC until merger with acn others saw him become president so I guys should continue in ur stupid dreams of obi becoming president from the back door... On d some flimsy grounds that ll be thrown out... Even in 2027 only PDP or APC ll win president know this Kno this other parties are regional Parties at best they win national assembly elections and one or two gorvenor elections...

You're really ignorant of the whole process of the presidential and NASS election. The NASS election results were uploaded in real time but the presidential results were not uploaded in real and INEC came to say they were technical glitch as if the election were not done same time. But here is you in my mention displaying your ignorance of the whole process. The results of the presidential election were not uploaded in real time. They were rigged at the LGA collation centers. We saw the results the video of the mutilated results. You saw them too.
you are obviously very foolish who rigged them?? How does uploading results affect manual collation of results... You obidients are the worst set of supported illogical and highly sentimental... So how come Lagos wasn't rigged then Abuja wasn't rigged to so that LP won't win... Katsina yobe kaduna gombe weren't rigged for APC to win to u see how illogical ur argument sounds... But since it makes u guys happy hold on to it... If u guys want APC defeated tell Obi and kwankwanso to return to PDP otherwise LP NNPP ll only aid APC to win while PDP the only Party capable of beating APC for president ll come second while other Regional parties like NNPP LP ll come behind PDP...

How do you hold credible election when the facilities provided to conduct credible election is not been put to use? Why was money wasted purchase those devices if the manual process were so credible? See some of you are becoming more stupid by day because illegality seems to favour you. Stupidity and illegality must never be allowed to stand as that will create endless cycle of illegality . Sane society is not built on illegality. Criminals like you will always will condemn an Internet fraudster but support political criminals because it serves your immediate purpose.
bvas worked that's why pple like ortom Ayade ikpeazu Lost Senate elections... That's LP won Abuja lagos... Anyone thinking LP can win president ahead of APC PDP is obviously deluded and myopic... APC PDP remains the only parties with structure and outreach to win president.. the rest are regional Parties

The Electoral guidelines for Osun elections is purely different from the electoral guidelines for the February elections. In the electoral act, INEC determines the mode of transmission. In the February elections, INEC chose the electronic mode of transmission in its guidelines and jettisoned it in the middle of the game.
so u don't know that judgment of Court esp supreme Court are precedent for other judgement... Isn't same INEC that conduct Osun elections... when adeleke was declared winner by INEC did they use online or paper to do that? Answer and see the situation

A win for pdp in Osun but the same yardstick will be used to decide the presidential election.. I see a big loss at tribunal for LP/PDP.
if not people don't read or just sentimental... INEC clearly said transmission ll be electronic but collation is manual from polling units to Abuja meaning irev is for viewing by public but doesn't stop manual collation... So it's very clear but obidients are making useless noise when na Third their oga even take...

"....to beat Atiku in APC.."
When you smoke Oshogbo weed, don't come up to make comments. Atiku is in PDP.
Obasanjo wouldn't have become president if not for zoning.
Because of zoning, Yar'adua was imposed as president after Peter Odili had nobody to beat after PDP presidential primaries campaign in 2007.
If your Tinubu had no contempt for the Igbo and zoning of the presidency, there were Igbo presidential materials who formed APC with Tinubu and others. Tinubu should have given way to one of those Igbos to fly the APC presidential ticket.
If you don't reckon with the fact that Igbo is one of the tree largest ethnic groups in Nigeria and therefore, an Igbo is capable of winning Nigeria's presidential election, as Peter Obi just did, you are living in a dreamland.
obasanjo won a contest then nobody gifted him anything ekueme late, contested twice against him.. late rimi abubakar too contested against him in PDP primaries stop expecting anyone to dash Igbo president... If your Politicians can't play the game to get the ticket in either PDP or APC then na foolish cry we go de hear from Igbo even tinubu won a contest too... That nonsense of major ethnic group is why u guys don't realize we have over 400 tribes and all matter and are equal stakeholders... a real hausa person is yet to rule Nigeria yet they don't disturb anyone but any small Igbo crying like Bush babies
