I want to study for a PhD in Canada but I don't have the money and there is no sponsor. What can I do? I want to help my family. I finished with a First class degree in English language and literature from NAU and as the Overall Best graduating student of the year and I'm almost done with my Masters in the same course. I want to get a fully funded sponsorship in the same course with emphasis on literature.

If you included your masters degree in your application, I think that is where the issue is,masters to diploma, will raise some doubts. My 2cents.
aanubaby16:
My application jst clocked 12 weeks yest.. Applied May 24th and jst after sending my first mesg here few hours ago, i recieved a message that my application has been refused, based on purpose of visit, length of propsed stay in canada and current employment situation.
Although I applied for Diploma in Business Administration... Cos i already have a Masters in Law degree from Uk...
I used my husband as sponsor, he has his own company, made them understand im an administrative partner in the organisation, showed enough assets evidence, tax clearance and trade invoices... but i guess perhaps the said course and gng for and me not showing enough stuff related to my current employment are causes...
I have a current valid canadian visa, visited smtime last year as well... travel history not a problem, but i need to tackel the exact problem.

pls how do I ask for the gcms or whats its called...

Thank you all... ve learnt alot via this thread, though i got to knw abt it after i applied.

For all those that need to travel to abj for passport, pls look for someone or an officer to send your data to make an application for you,so they need to approved it first then go for capturing, then if you need to come back home or wait for like 4 to 5days for it to be processed, then pls make sure you discuss how it will b sent to you if dealing with an immigration officer.if you want to just wait for evrytin you can plan your trip and just stay for a week plus.

Lost passports, change of name, change of data, damage passports can ONLY be done in abuja

Definitely he will write.I too will also write, please can anyone assist with materials to prepare for the exam or where can I get them?.
dupyshoo:
To get nominated by most provinces, you will still require IELTS. Why does he not want to write IELTS?

To answer your questions: you don't need someone to help you apply for Provincial Nomination. Just go online and google the requirements for the province you are interested in. If you meet their requirements, then you can apply. If not, keep looking for other provinces until you get a suitable one.

It is very difficult to get job offers from outside Canada nowadays as you have to get a positive LMIA

Dear Ogiyen,
Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no alternative/equivalent than having the IELTS (GT) Score.

Would love to apply ,my husband is an engineer with 6yrs experience, but don't have English scores,is there any equivalent for that ?.please kindly respond all.
Garykasparov:

You shouldnt have any problem translating the pages, it was easy peasy when i tried, once you open 'my Quebec project' it will pop-up at the top right corner of your screen, click on translate or betterstill, click the option arrow, you will be able to open the pages in english by default. finally, check your crome brower settings if all these fails

Gooday all,all the gurus in the house i hail everybody o,
please if someone should apply for admission for fall 2017 for masters now in Ottawa.

My Question:when would you likely to get an offer from them?,is that they will wait till after the deadline for admission? .

Secondly, when does TRV start counting? is it from the date of issue or from the day your school resume?.

Thanks to all and my gurus, awaiting your replies.

You said each of the school separately,so both will carry one address, as school will not issue multiple transcript
pampem:

You send to each of the schools seperately.

What of lambton college and camosun college in BC?do you know much about it too?
Olargee:
I would have you know that the school is in a notorious neighbourhood, customer service is slow and annoying and they will ask you to pay 2300 compulsorily before giving you a full offer. The admission officer is in India (4.5hrs ahead) and school's admission officer is in Canada (5hrs behind) so communication between both locations for urgent solutions to a problem is impossible. Not intending to be racist, my friend told me the place is full of Indians which obviously means pungent spice odours in classrooms. I advice you to find another school. Also I would advice against any school in the Greater Toronto Area. cost of accommodation is easily some 100-150CAD per week more expensive than other cities.
