Do you know if this can b done say in delta state warri?and also if like my hubby too is going does he also have to get a separate one?.thanks Odinwa: What you need is your international passport and a passport photograph. It doesn't take time, you can be through with it within 20mins. It doesn't have any particular amount, it only depends on your power of negotiation but I did mine for #2500. Some people did it for #8000 or #5000 |

Thank you very much,how do I contact you?plsss lacord5: I feel you should apply alone first. If you all apply together then you've cut your home ties. You can add all the docs you listed above and state that your hubby is sponsoring you, then after you've gotten your study permit, he can then apply for open work permit. This question has been asked severally before and such advice given.
About the money lodgement, you can pm me. |

OK thanks,pls how did you apply for the police certificate? like how much did it cost, what you provided and where you did it?the processes. Thanks Odinwa: yes! And you have to make a photocopy of that too cos they won't be collecting the originals. I don't know which route is better cos it's my first and only application. but you need patience in the paper submission. |

Pls guru in the house, I want to apply for study permit for a program of 2yrs, will b accompanied by my hubby and daughter ,my husband work in the vessel as an engineer and has 6yrs experience, I also have worked in telecom for 4yrs,my husband has two plots of land ,one he has almost completed developing,their company is paying dem off between now and DEC.,I will b applying to the embassy in august as against Jan resumption, and his statement of account will not have such huge amount of money as at the time we will apply in August so money will be pushed into the acct,which is termed money lodgement.
My question;
what kind of document do you think can back dis kind of lodgement?.
For home ties,can we submit the documents of the properties?.
Can we add his employment letter,tax certificate, payslips? As home ties,or we should just add it,then d question of is he leaving his job?,in dis case what kind of explanation should we give?
Pls kindly buttress,advice or add to it thanks all |

OK,thanks,pls how did you send your transcript for evaluation? nkemgrace: Your best bet would be accessing the college's website. Look out for the requirements in your desired field of study. Be sure to check out the useful dates of your desired course. Fill the online application form and submit all supporting documents as requested. Just before you apply, be sure to have documents like your WAEC certificate, detailed curriculum Vitae (cv), recent university transcript, functional email address et al. I hope this helps |

Pls I want to apply to centennial college for global business management,pls what do I need ,pls asap,I have a bachelor degree in bus admin and a working experience of 5yrs in a telecom. nkemgrace: Paid my fees already. Did it at Zenith bank using a FORM A. Centennial College would send you the payment methods alongside the admission letter which you would find in the welcome package. PEER TRANSFER is one of the payment method, but it seems a little bit clumsy, so I would advise you pay your tuition using FORM A at the designated bank of your choice. I hope that helps. If you need further clarification, I would be willing to assist within my limits. Over and out! |

Oh,OK,but Canadian dollar is diff na Abi? Mizbaby: It means 1USD would no longer officially be 197 Naira. Rather the value of the Naira will now be determined by 'market forces'. So I would have paid more Naira for each Canadian dollar thereby increasing my tuition fee in Naira.
That's what it means. |

Do they call the bank to verify? oyeleye22: I doubt they would know money left the acct. Just be hopeful. U could beg ur bro to wait a lil but if he can't hope for d best |

Hi, what do u mean by CBN floated the naira? and how does that affect Canadian dollar? Mizbaby: I just can't stop thanking God!!!! Just as I received confirmation from my school U of A that my tuition fee has entered my student account ( Tuition for two years as I learnt I can pay all at once), the next day I heard CBN has floated the Naira.
Thanking God I acted fast, also for my mum that was able to find someone in UBA to do the wire transfer for her in a week instead of the usual one month waiting time.
Now I can forget all things Naira and concentrate on Canadian Dollars |

Pls kindly assist as am going to apply to Niagara college for a course in business and I have 4yrs experience in customer care job in telecom and my first degree is business administration with a second class lower BarrEgo: Guys, do not be deceived. Ranking is everything in Academia. Universities and colleges get funding because of their ranking - which is judged based on scientific/technological equipments, library resources and quality of staff and students' research. That is why highly ranked universities (Harvard, Utrecht, Toronto, SFU, Oxford, Ottawa, etc) are highly competitive. They seek for the best minds to keep and/or grow their ranking. Top universities like Ottawa and co do not admit mediocre minds, even if there are a thousand institutions in their locality. That said, Ottawa cannot be compared to Memorial. Ottawa ranks 12 in Canada and top 300 in the world, while memorial ranks 24 in Canada and top 500 in the world. (See http://www.webometrics.info/en/North_america/Canada). Furthermore, tuition fees often depend on the amount of funding a department or program receives. Departments with focus in Social Healthcare research like disability studies, aging studies/gerontology, etc are currently receiving lots of funding so postgrad research programs in these are "cheap". Memorial is "cheap" - $800-1,300 a term for postgrad programs because they're a research focused Uni and receive lots of findings for research. Be wise in your assessments of foreign universities. Do not underestimate any program or school. Bless! |
