abagoro:Why do u keep commenting on this thread? Please kindly desist since all u do is cause disharmony and insults. I take God beg u . U think that Anambra can sponsor that project? How much is the IGR, and the federal allocation to anambra Do you think it is feasible or u want anambra to go borrowing for a federal govt responsibility? People just stay at home and type trash. |
Inveatnow2013, is that the second Niger bridge? Kindly reply asap |
BuddahMonk:Buddha monk nwannem, God forbid if any thing happens to the existing bridge. It will spell doom for the anambra economy.I can't bring myself together to phantom the impact on the onitsha and nnewi markets. The painful part is the flimsy reason for suspension of work, we don suffer for this country I have never taken the biafra thing serious but the way am feeling now , I feel ready to shed blood for it. |
4dankey:http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/08/why-construction-of-second-niger-bridge-may-be-put-on-hold-for-now/ This is a dagger to the heart , chai |
Like work on the second Niger bridge may be suspended according to ait news. The bridge was estimated to cost about 130 billion, the fg under gej paid 10billion to Julius Berger as part of the agreement of pppp. Oshiomole last week claimed that the fg had already paid 140 billion just for consultancy and one aminu dikku , was claiming that communities around the site were agitating on account of lack of settlement .hence work may be suspended... chai wahala Anybody with better information should kindly update us. |
Men, ambode we are solidly behind u. Ambode is playing by the book-48 laws of power by Robert green Law 41-avoid stepping into a great man's shoes. Establish your own name and identity by changing course.slay the overbearing father, disparage his legacy, and gain power by shining in your own way.[ |
Even though he became governor through rigging of election like ngige, ikpeazu has obviously demonstrated his good intentions for the state especially aba. Imagine the paltry sum of 400m in a state like abia state ? If the erstwhile governors were up to there responsibility by as much as 50%, he would be talking about 25 to 30 billion as IGR. 400million even if na osun state |
adconline:I think the government is right to have 're-structured the loans, civil servants in osun are being owed as much as 8 months salary likewise some other indebted states. Further deprivation of the civil servants of there month-end reward can trigger civil unrest which can easily spread to other parts of the federation and this will not bode well for the apc led administration. But the government should find a way of making governors/states pay for there financial recklessness , this singular action may encourage financial irresponsibility by the governors since they know that the federal government got there back. |
badnature:Sincerely, I don't c anything wrong in people building residential houses in states outside the eastern region where they reside, my grouse is there decision to site profitable industries and firms outside SE. I honestly believe that when we talk about " thinking home " we mean igbos siting there industries and companies in the eastern region and not someone living in Lagos building a 4 storey in awka. |
Reyginus:Was just highlighting the intellectual backwardness of blacks when compared to the Caucasians , mongoloids etc nobody is claiming the white man introduced writing cos I know that the Chinese calligraphy predated English alphabets as we know it. In what language was our history recorded, or is it another oral tradition? Guy, stop deluding your self.the earlier u accept it and strive towards being a better person the better for the negroid race. |
It's only the almighty God of Abraham that will deliver Nigeria from these heartless liars |
Reading was never our thing, our language poorly developed with no form of writing. Hence we were unable to document events, scientific discoveries, medical break through etc on which subsequent generations would build upon to contribute to the body of knowledge. These information were passed down generations by 'oral tradition'. The white man taught most Nigerians how to write there name, our alphabets were a direct derivative from English alphabets. |
ROSSIKE:Typical Blackman, exhibiting emotional incompetence for no reason. Ride on |
The best description of the black is the P.W Botha speech in 1985. Remove all sentiment and read the speech and u will see that black man is truly an inferior race whether they are found in Africa, Europe , Asia or Haiti. |
Black man and wishful thinking are like bread and butter. What an unrealistic target. Even USA is not generating that amount currently and Nigeria with less land mass, infrastructure , funding and expertise hope to do that. May God help una |
Ichieboxy:Lies and propaganda simply flees in the light of the truth. Bro, no one could have relayed this information better than u. Oga jona really suffered in the hands of these guys and I hope he has a thick skin to get thru all these despite the fact that it is still ongoing. |
[quote author=AnambraDota post=36824746]Rail wetin, there is no money for such now, they should map out land for it for future projects but complete the basics now. [/quote) Y shouldn't the SE consider the railway system? A single move that can bring about economic regional integration of the southeast The construction of portharcourt -maiduguri rail line by the colonialist was financed with proceeds from agriculture and coal mining .I believe that if the SE states cooperate amongst themselves that it is a feat that can be achieved with diligence ,focus and good leadership. Africans rarely see far, we want it fast- fast. "The eyes can't see what the mind can not conceive" Drag not the visionaries back with your pessimism. |
PassingShot:Could remember I comfortably bought PMS since 2011 at 65 naira and 97 naira subsequently until early 2015 . I don't see any improvement cos recently, the only hope of getting it at 87 naira is to queue at nnpc stations whenever they have pms You are yet to answer the question , ha subsidy payment been stopped? Oil marketers should not be allowed to shortchange Nigerians. |
Sincere9gerian:Why is PMS still at 110 naira per liter despite the subsidy payment? Has subsidy payment been stopped? Anyone with answer should kindly explain Cc.passingshot, israeliairforce |
The arguments for and against airport is caused by the creation of state which has caused artificial boundary between heretofore brothers with common goal..if it were before the creation of states the asaba airport would have sufficed for anambra , but alas , we r in the era of winner take it all with fierce competition between states..a good % of the patronage @both enugu and asaba airports are from businesses in anambra, and the state can't afford to lose such revenue to neighbouring states If what chino (notorious liar) said about the port being a depot for aviation fuel then it is expedient that the airport is started and completed . Asap. buddah, the airport can also attract white collar jobs which u always complain about cos most of these firm can now comfortably site there enterprise in anambra instead of asaba |
Cuche:I think what the SE ( anambra) needs is a well funded , state of the art technical school that will churn out technicians necessary for industrial revolution and unlock the potentials of ingenious ibo men . This is the surest way to kick start and sustain industrialization. Most university graduate are either unemployable , or adapted for white-collar jobs .industries are sustained by technicians.if in doubt go to any serious industry in 9ja and study the composition of there work force. The unfortunate truth is that in the midst of 170 million Nigerians we lack skilled man power, hence in most industries and site of road construction u always see a white Caucasian or asian overseeing the Nigerian employees even graduates If the shoe makers in aba can receive such formal training imagine the quality of shoes they would make by now they would have gone global Am not an advocate of more universities in Nigeria. |
Nice article You forgot the Rothschilds , they are inarguably the richest family that ever existed. Unless u are talking about individuals. |
Igbonazy:The ignorant primitive hag took the bait, swallowed everything hook line and sinker I detest her E-personality, I hope she's not so in real life |
AnambraDota:Like your job is just to proffer solution and give unsolicited advice? What about u acting locally first then regionally, national and globally or abi u don give up say u no go make am? Those men are not finding it easy as u may erroneously think. |
Papiwata aka jakumo U r wasting your talent on nairaland, with little focus and concentration would churn out a best seller |
cindicandy:Many people I know of have pleaded with u chino to end this unholy war with abagworo, but u have refused. U are simply childish or being paid to play a fool Tufiakwa |
Chino, u r demented, foolish for starting such a thread What do u actually gain by living in such a disgraceful mode SMH |
barcanista:I once thought that u have crossed the rubicon , with your comment up there I believe u have started retracing your steps, like the lost sheep of Israel we will welcome u back to the fold with open arms |
Al-Qaeda, ISIS bokoharam and Hamas believe they are the Koran practicing Moslems entitled to paradise and virgins My question is, who r the true Moslems? |
...Why not verify ALL my claims here and see if ONE is a lie?...If you say he's ill advised and still force us to accept him based on his military acumen; don't you think you're contradicting yourself?...Buhari doesn't need to be in government to know about those(NNPC, TSA etc)..and being in government, he should have seen them immediately...he was simply trying to deceive people...
