4evergod2: You seem not to understand my question. You were quick to jump on a self assumption that his thread was a counter to the inconsequential hardmirrors thread which is absolutely ridiculous. Its like saying my thread on how i encountered God and became an evangelist is also a counter to that thread and i asked you a simple question.
If the OP had titled this thread "From Christian to Atheist ...my story" would you have said he was never a Christian? to me up till today christian has no definition. i have asked catholic, protestant and orthodox and the definition they gave me was contradictory, even protestant within themselves couldn't provide one definition. so there is no way i can say somebody was never a christian when i don't know what it mean. but as for atheism, I know what it mean and i can gladly say op was never an atheist based on his(op) posts. am even suspecting that he's one of the theist that have more than one monicker like you. he may be one of you guys |

4evergod2: Are you the grand patron of Atheism? What makes you say the OP was not an Atheist? Care to share your own story so we can clearly tell you that you are not an Atheist and is only going through the motions?
You just jumpt and speak for the sake of being heard. If to you he was not an Atheist how does that change his testimony? If he had said he was a Christian who became an Atheist would you have said he was never a Christian? Abeg park well. nothing like grand patron in atheism, it is just disbelief in any deity. whether you are good, bad, womanise, steal, rob. once you don't belief any deity then you are atheist. but almost 99% of theist i av met on nairaland(you inclusive) dont know what atheism mean |

Csami: I was born in the north, kaduna to be precise. I witness my first ethnic cleanse in the year 2000. They almost burnt my parents alive if not for the timely intervention of the police, killed a couple of igbos and SS I know. But do you know why the riot took place? Because of sharia.
Did igbo/christians deny them sharia? No! Then why are they been killed? Because they enjoy killing for no reason.
Now is it good to kill people unjustly? No. But killing people for no reason whatsoever did not start with the igbos.
So before you judge people especially igbos, listen to both parties and read their history too. am happy for your response, those people are animals and i will advise you not to kowtow along their way. think of others in the north that can be a victim of your actions. every senseless killer is an animal, you people should prove to them that you are christians. |

The government should deal decisively with any reprisal attack. but they did today and those who went on reprisal attack today are nothing but a barbarically fool like those senseless people that kill the woman in kano |

ANewUser: Igbos have been killed before in kano for something that happened in Denmark, so nothing you want to say is new. IGBOS will NEVER suck up to hausas like Yorubas do. and these are senseless things that must stop. we are not animal, two wrong can never be right. both those who kill today and that of Denmark day are senseless and barbaric . nobody ask any igbo to suck up but whenever you are ready for war make sure you prepared because nobody wanna hear they are killing us |

Csami: You see when people keep repeating a saying over and over again, it begins to sound as if it true. Let's assume there's a reprisal in the north, are there no hausas in Abia? What of Enugu? Hey I almost forgot Anambra? Ebonyi nko? What about ama-hausa in Owerri?
I just want you to stop talking sh*t you know nothing about! and in my post i told you Hausa will not lost at all? they will, but their casualty will be very low compare to your people. the Yoruba you claimed don't wanna go to war has seen beyond the war because they've known what war really mean. imagine you just resting after an hectic day of working in kano and some people just knock on your door and kill you and your family because of a crime your somebody committed? may be you don't even know the person but just because you are from same area and you are just wiped off like that. the killing in IMO sound logical to you today because you are Igbo, tomorrow will soon come and we shall see you people's reactions if it turn the other way |

ANewUser: Yes, are you happy now Yoruba? Keep on loving Hausas like you did in mile 12 where they barbecued your people for fun. We can never be as timid and asslīcking as Yorubas in this Nigeria. Why is that so hard for you guys to understand and accept? We will NEVER suck up to the Hausas as Yorubas do. That is what you want but get it clear once again, It will NEVER happen! calm urself down. am sure u never go to mile 12 to confirm the casualty of both sides but you just choose the one that befit you. timid you say? am sure you have never challenge Yoruba to go to war with you but you just believe what you are told by your likes, only senseless people kill those who never kill, it is neither bravery or boldness to kill somebody who never hurt you. i will never hate hausa, igbo or any tribe but those who are violent, whether hausa yoruba or igbo. but let me let you know today that if there should be a reprisal from both zones Igbo will suffer more loss than Hausa. i will also let you know there is no second place in war. you people just hold resentment against hausa/fulani because jonathan lost election |

vingeophysicist: In a normal society the reprisal attack from the indegene's is uncalled for because the killing by the Hausa (bike man) wasn't intentional but they(indegenes ) knew law in Nigeria is not effective ( probing the bike man) therefore the police and other agent involve should be blame. they only took the reprisal because of they hate hausa. |

shadeyinka: Again my question and submission had not been on either religion, faith, gods/God, theology or spirits and the spiritual. My question has been about the Operating System that rule every living being; the SOUL which research made you to draw this bolded conclusion [s]I think that Atheists have been so antagonistic to every thing that cannot be seen especially the spirit that they neglect their own operating system which is non material[/s][quote]You have based your faith on THEORIES in Biology. What you claim you believe is not even a LAW.
[s]A theory is a SPECULATION about unexplained events or situation waiting for confirmation. A theory can be found untrue and wrong (and several has) but a scientific LAW is verified.[/s]
It is extremely RISKY to base your Life on THEORIES! a theory is a system of logical reasoning that scientist carefully construct to explain unknown based on valid assumption about natural phenomena stop twisting something for you own gain. but it is advisable to believe s book that claimed snake talk, a book that contradict itself? or u want me to drop Quran and other religion book that have different contradicting stories about different gods and take yours? We all spend money don't we? How come different countries have theirbown version of Money? Does having different version of money contravene the base purpose of money as a legal tender?
This is a weak argument? Counterfeit money has always been in circulation; why not refuse to spend money again because of them.
[s]God has given you a special Operating System that make you INDEPENDENT in reasoning, thought , emotions and VOLITION. Find Him and stop fighting Him[/s]. The rules of the divine is different from that of the physical rhelm. you just keep on typing thrashes. i said there is no sufficient prove that any god exist and you are here telling me it created one soul. what kind of argument is that? btw. if your child is missing wont you search for him or he/she must be the one to search for you? your argument is just off the line u have to logically prove your god's existence first before you can proceed that he created something call soul. stop this childish argument in 2016 |
Politics › Why We Arrested Sidiqu-efcc by OgundeleT(op): 11:28pm On Aug 08, 2016 |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested popular blogger, Mr. Abubakar Sidiqu Usman, otherwise known as Abusidiqu, over a recent report he published against the Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu. Friends of the blogger who reached out to The PUNCH said he was arrested by EFCC operatives early on Monday morning. Confirming the arrest, the EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, said the blogger was arrested for cyber stalking. In a statement, Uwujaren said, “The EFCC today arrested Mr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman, a blogger, for offences bordering on cyber stalking. “The suspect who is the publisher of Abusidiqu.com was picked up at his Kubwa, Abuja home in the early hours of Monday August 8, 2016 by operatives of the EFCC and is currently being questioned over the alleged offence which contravenes sections of the Cyber Crime Act. “The suspect has already been offered administrative bail and would be released to his elected sureties.” Cyber stalking is defined as the repeated use of electronic communications to harass or frighten someone by sending threatening emails or spreading false messages online. Usman’s blog, Abusidiqu.com, published a report titled, ‘EFCC boss, Magu, commences total war with core EFCC staff’ on August 2, 2016. The report stated that members of staff at the EFCC were complaining that they were being bullied by Magu. It accused Magu of corruption, and of being jittery about the delay in his confirmation by the Senate punchng.com/efcc-arrests-blogger-anti-magu-story/ |
