what to do when your break fails (9ja version)
1. If na manual tranny, you're protected...use handbrake carefully(i prefer the slightly engaged and disengaged method till speed reduces)...if engaged fully on good speed, you go use your car write 'C' for road and that one go dey disastrous oooo....at a very reduced speed, youll do panamolenu while on gear 1( kill the engine while gear one is engaged)...the car would jerk a few times and come to a halt...
If it's an AUTO, and on very good speed, at this point I'll first say :- there's nothing beyond the power of prayers...that said, move your gear lever to neutral first (atleast the moving coffin won't gain more speed) BUT if you are in a sloppy road!!!!....nothin concern neutral again ooo....just wait on the Lord and prepare to meet. you can as a last resort engage your handbrake halfway and release a few times....works well on level roads till u find a good pole,truck, gutter to end the story with.

2. this is for people like the old me who do not care to check if the handbrake in our vehicles work or not (who doesn't like gear parking on manual tranny abi just shifting to park and jumping out of the car when parking).
Anyway sha, when u notice ur brake on your manual is gone and in good speed and the devil makes u also see you av NO handbrake too, well, that's one lifeline gone...you're still safe, refer to number 1 above without the handbrake part ofcourse, downshift and when speed reduces, kill the engine while in gear BUT if it's an auto, well, pray as usual, wind down your glass,stretch forth your head and yell like hell!!!!!...you can ask some Kamoru or Wasiu to help with throwing stones or a nearby tipper boy can help u throw a heavy duty 'shock' under your car to stop you....else, look for a good pole and rely on your airbags.

They are various android/windows application out their ranging from video editing ,photo editing and so on that you can make use of ,and start to make little income either online e.g Fiverr ,YouTube monetization and co or even offline by creating video tutorial or photo editing for a little token and you will be happy with your self. If you are the type that only use your phone playing and listening to music / movie alone ,am telling you your smart phone is smarter than you.

Without me even saying anything about this set of people I believe you know those who fall under this category, this set of people are the type that always use their device to play game majorly they use 80% of their device functions to play game. Always following the trend of latest game moving from joint to joint to get latest games.


If you fall under this category there are still better things you can achieve with your device instead on playing games regularly, with your advanced knowledge on games, you too can start developing games to for other people to download and play to.With this you can as well make little or huge $$$ from the games by either uploading it to Google play store for AdSense to show along with it.I know is hard to developed high end game with your smartphone ,but you can still developed minor graphic game from your device, e.g puzzle , scramble game etc....or even developed website app for webmaster and by starting it on your device by giving the finishing touches on your PC.

is smarter than them,am sorry if you fall under this category, am only sharing idea for you to see what you can do and achieve with your smartphone rather than making calls and receiving calls only with your phone.


If you are using smartphone and only use it for calling my guy you are missing.
Am not saying receiving and making calls with your device is wrong, No it is not so because it is on of the functions of our device. But they are still better things you can do with your device rather than making calls only, if you are a student and the only thing you use your smartphone for is calling hhhmm your smartphone is smarter than you. You need to start using your for other stuffs, like browsing your school assignment on your device instead of going to the cafe to browse while your smart baby can do all of that, you only need to visit cafe or computer center to print work. You can as well venture into the above mentioned skills so as to outsmart your device.

I've got my reasons for buying the phone initially and if it's more important than that, glory be to God. If the phone wan do rubbish, or try to be smart lasan, na to just remove the battery... Thinking about this topic, I’ve been wondering
who the focus of this post should be – girls or
guys or both. In almost every tertiary institution
in Nigeria, you find ‘undergraduate couples’ living
as husbands and wives. You find a lot of these
misguided people in virtually all schools. It’s so
bad that, often times, they are duly recognized
and acknowledged as couples by lodge
neighbours, classmates and even leaders of
various students associations. Little wonder
there is such an award as “The best couple of
the year award” shamelessly and thoughtlessly
received by students.

Like I said earlier, I really don’t know the
particular gender to address but let me just keep
typing. The rate at which girls live with their
boyfriends in their various off campus hostels is
painfully alarming. Most times, these young girls
are very beautiful, with bright and promising
future. They cohabit with boys who are their
fellow students as roommates. The lugubrious
part of it is that the silly girl would always
introduce the small boy as her fiancé.

Our society is really sick courtesy of those that
live in it. These girls collect either hostel fees or
house rents from unsuspecting (and sometimes,
struggling) parents and end up in the house of a
boy. You struggled possibly for several years to
gain admission. Then you suddenly became a
prayer warrior posting and shouting ‘Amen’ at
the slighted provocation. You fasted. You had
one prayer point filled with promises of your
loyalty and devotion to God if only He would
answer your prayer. Now that He has fulfilled His
part by answering and granting you admission,
don’t you think He is expecting you to fulfill your
own part, to keep whatever promises you made
to Him??
Many of you just got admission and once you
settle down (especially from your second year),
crazy thoughts will begin to creep into your
minds. Yes by then, the heat of the rush would
have been over; If God didn’t capture you
(possibly through the various campus
fellowships), boys would have caught you. Soon,
they would persuade you to move in with them.
Of course, they’d give you one thousand reasons
to make you give in to their proddings.

Before you agree to move in and live with a boy
on campus, consider the reason why you are in
school in the first place. What image would you
be creating about yourself? Can this boy marry
you in case you get pregnant for him as is
always the case, or will you resort to series of
abortions like many other girls before you? What
advice will you give your children in future
concerning this kind of things? After school,
what next? Will the relationship really lead you
anywhere?

This post is finally addressing the female folks. I
didn’t plan it that way. Maybe it’s because they

call it school life but they don’t realize how

the girl say, “We are not doing anything, we are
just roommates”. Yet she commits countless
abortions before graduation.

Yes, your admission has given you unlimited
freedom. Yes, your parents are not there to tell
you what to do or what not to do. There is even
no blood relation around, so there's no fear of
someone reporting you. But what about giving
your womanhood respect and protecting your
dignity? What about living in such a way as to
have a positive story to tell the next generation
(including your children) without your conscience
pricking you? What about guarding and keeping
you virginity till you are married?
