Onyi AKA Alhaji [Right] and his friend [left] saw the other side of the youths in Illah community, Delta state, after they stole chairs and couch from a well known business man in Umuogbu Village in Illah . see the stolen items behind them in the Photo............
The duo were stripped naked and forced to leave their p*nis dangling for kids to see, as they were instructed not to cover their blokos with their hands....

Though they were not beaten by the mob, they were later released and instructed to appologise to the owner....

Choi see that one with Rosary for him neck self!......

But is it right to strip full grown men Naked in front of kids? female kids at that?.... that is why rapists and paedophiles are on the increase in Nigeria...... Cases like this should be refered to correctional facilities,.... lol... do we have any in Nigeria?

PoliticsRe: Anti-corruption Fight: Only Corrupt People Afraid of PMB - Kashamu by ohemdave(m): 9:03pm On Dec 19, 2015
PassingShot:
The Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district, Buruji Kashamu has defended President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption saying only corrupt people need to be afraid of the present administration.

Kashamu whose election was affirmed by the Appeal court in Ibadan last week said only PMB has the will and integrity to wage war against corruption.

Kashamu made this assertion at Ijebu Igbo, Ijebu North local government area of Ogun State, at the weekend during a victory reception organized for him after his victory at the appellate court.

According to the Senator, PMB has the track record to confront corruption adding that his War Against Corruption, WAI, initiative as a military head of state in the 80s brought sanity to the country.

He further stated that the current revelation of how billions were taken away from the treasury is a testimony to the level of corruption in the land that must be stopped at all cost for Nigeria not to collapse.

Senator Kashamu noted the current war against official graft will also serve as warning to new ministers to sit tight.

“If we really want the government to have the money in order for them to be able to put in place infrastructure, to develop the country, the only way is to clear all the problems of corruption. And if they are to do that there is no way the president would not step on toes of many people.

“And who are the people? They are the people who believe that what belong to all of us must be their own.”

He enjoined Nigerians not to politicize the anti corruption war saying though he is a PDP member, he cannot be blinded by sentiment.

“President Buhari is not a president of APC. He is the president of PDP, President of the masses and president of the whole Nigeria.”

“So, if we Nigerians want change and progress, we must be patient, we must have courage, we must do whatever we can do to support this government .”

Speaking on the treasury single account and the BVN, he said these are part of efforts to reduce corruption and bring about transparency.

The Ogun East senator however appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the present administration for it to revive the economy.

“But, I can tell the masses today that since we started having presidents, it is now we have president because, the truth of the matter is that six months are very short to know what any president can do.

“What is causing problem is those who do not understand, who are corrupt and want this corruption to continue. But, you tell me any government which wants to restructure the country, who wants to lay the foundation whereby all the masses would be happy that will not start from corruption.”

“The ministers that he appointed have been warned that what is happening to the former ministers would happen to you if you fumble with me. That is why you see the kind of qualities of ministers that he has chosen. Today, I can say Nigerians have started gaining now, the TSA only has cleared 30 per cent of corruption.”

Kashamu lauded the judiciary over his victory at the Appeal Court saying judges should be continue to be the last hope of the common man.

He admonished PDP members in the state to remain united preparatory for next year’s Congress.

THE BAYELSA ELECTION, A LESSON FOR THE IGBOS:
I have been following events in the Bayelsa state since Saturday and I think it's high time we Igbos woke up and learn our lessons. What is happening in Bayelsa state shows that the Bayelsans have moved on. They are no longer tied to the apron of PDP and GEJ. That state is one of the smallest states in the country and it's the home state of the former president (GEJ), yet the result of the election held since Saturday have not been announced officially till now. I thought the PDP would have swept off the whole votes just like they did during the presidential election, but to my amazement the APC is also gathering considerable votes there. I know PDP may eventually emerge winner in the election, but my point is that we Igbos should wake up and stop crying more than the bereaved cos even the bereaved have moved on.
Other regions have moved on and have even started integrating themselves into this PMB administration to ensure they remain relevant and not schemed out if things, while some of my people are still holding themselves down and throwing hate speeches here and there.
Other region are already preparing for 2019, some are already gearing up for 2023, while my people have failed to arise and shake off GEJ and his failed administration. By 2019 now, we will begin to run helter-skelter and start last minute preparation and when we loose again, we will say we are hated by others but we forget that we are the ones holding ourselves down now that others are already preparing ahead.
The Igbos have enjoyed more "juicy" appointments in the past 16 years of this democratic dispensation, yet none of the appointees or elected officials performed exceptional well for us to present him/her as presidential candidate. But look at the likes of Fashola, Fayemi, Kwakwanso, El Rufai, etc they are all potential presidential candidates going forward cos their achievements speak for them. Tell me the achievements of. Orji Uzor Kalu, T.A Orji, Sam Egwu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Mbadinuju, etc.... none of them made a mark in their various states, yet we leave them and keep pointing fingers to other regions and saying they are our problem.
I advise we wake up and begin to align ourselves strategically with other region now cos we can never produce a president in this country if we continue like this.
While some misguided elements are busy shouting Biafra, and claiming that South south is part of their Biafra, the southsouth have denounced the whole Biafra thing publicly and I understand that just last weekend, Nyesom Wike of River State, named a stadium in River State after Yakubu Gowon. Does that not tell you somethinghuh?
The golden rule says 'DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WILL LIKE THEM TO DO UNTO YOU'..... Love begat love, hate begat hate. Don't expect love from others when you give them hatred, don't expect them to vote for your candidate when you keep calling them animals that live in the zoo.
"Give and it shall be given unto you" whatever you give to others is what they will give back to you GOOD MEASURES, PRESSED DOWN, SHAKING TOGETHER AND RUNNING OVER.
He who has ears let him hear, Wisdom is profitable to direct.... I rest my case...
My friend go and sit down with your write up,seeking notice me. I thought you will say APC will win,if is not so how is it called an election,Idiot.

PoliticsRe: Six Governorship Candidates Step-Down For Sylva by ohemdave(m): 6:23pm On Dec 04, 2015
anigbajumo:
In less than 48 hours to the Bayelsa state gubernatorial election, six governorship candidates contesting on the platform of other renowned political parties have stepped down for the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timipre Sylva.
Channels Television reports that this was observed on Thursday, December 3, in Yenagoa, the state capital as the chairman of the Labour Party, Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Alliance for Democracy (AD), Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Advanced Congress of Democrats (ACD) and the United Democratic Party (UDP) all gave their mandate to the former governor of the state.

Explaining why they threw their weights behind the candidacy of Sylva, they said their decision was propelled by their love for the state.

According to them, it was imperative at this time to have a leader that has the people at heart, hence listen to their cravings and better their lives.

The chairmen further pleaded with Bayelsa people to cast their vote for the APC candidate and realize the long dream of prosperity in the state.

As usual with Nigerian style of politics, there have been series of allegations and counter allegations in the build up to the governorship election slated for December 5. On Wednesday, December 2, Olisa Metuh, spokesperson of the PDP, at a news conference in Abuja said membersOn Wednesday, December 2, Olisa Metuh, spokesperson of the PDP, at a news conference in Abuja said members had been instructed to defend their votes as APC plan to rig the election.

The PDP had also accused APC of plans to arrest some of its members with strong and influential electoral support base to destabilize the electioneering process.

Meanwhile, the suit filed by the PDP challenging the eligibility of Sylva to run in the forthcoming election had suffered set back as the court adjourned till January 2016 for further hearing. The adjournment is obviously a bitter pill for the PDP to swallow as it allows the APC flag bearer to contest the state’s gubernatorial election.

CultureRe: Queen Elizabeth And Buhari To Attend Ogunwusi's Coronation by ohemdave(m): 7:58am On Dec 01, 2015
ORACLE1975:
Her Majesty the Queen of England, Elizabeth Alexandra; President Muhammadu Buhari; Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); and governors from at least 20 states, ministers and other dignitaries are expected to attend the coronation of the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.

The Chairman, Media Committee of the coronation, Mr. Biyi Odunlade, said this at a press conference that started a series of activities lined up for the coronation scheduled to hold on December 7.

Odunlade, however, explained that the queen might be represented at the ceremony. He added that guests from many nations of the world had been invited for the ceremony.

The Ooni also said he was ready to fast-track the development of Ife with a series of policies, which he said, would make the Yoruba people proud anywhere they found themselves.

The monarch, who was represented at the press conference by his elder brother, Prince Adegboyega Ogunwusi, said he would do everything possible to address the problem of youth unemployment in the town.

Ogunwusi, who donated 50 transformers to some communities in Ife before he emerged as the new Ooni, said he would donate additional 50 transformers within the next 30 days to boost electricity supply in the ancient town.

He noted that this gesture would make small scale businesses in the town to thrive because power problem would have been reduced.

He said, “Let me acquaint you with what I have done in less than 70 days. I have given out over 20 electricity transformers worth about N250m.

“I donated 50 transformers when I was a prince. I will buy another 50 transformers within the next 30 days to further enhance electricity distribution. With this, small scale businesses of welders, tailors and others will naturally witness improvement.

“Providentially, I know the core investor and the Chairman, Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, Mr. Tunde Ayeni, personally and very well. I have engaged him and his team to make this a reality and work has commenced in earnest. We will witness this transformation by the very special grace of God.”

“To revamp the stadium, I have already opened discussion with the Osun State Government on this. I will set up a football academy and we will have 16 clubs in Ife.”

The new monarch also promised to establish a football academy.

While the press conference was going on, the new Ooni and other guests were at an inter-religious service held at Enuwa Square.

One of the religious leaders, who spoke at the service, Apostle Joshua Fagbule, urged the people of Ife to rally round Ogunwusi in order for him to bring about meaningful development to the town.

PoliticsRe: FG To Begin Campaign Against Indiscipline, African-time Syndrome — Lai Mohammed by ohemdave(m): 6:43pm On Nov 24, 2015
DONSMITH123:
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says a nation-wide campaign against indiscipline, African-time syndrome and loss of social norms and values will begin before the end of the year.

Mohammed stated this on Tuesday at a strategic planning meeting he held with the chief executives of agencies and other top management staff of the ministry in Abuja.

“You are welcome to this meeting, which I have convened to present to you the template for the massive, nationwide reorientation campaign to be embarked upon by this ministry very soon.

“Those invited to this meeting have been painstakingly selected because I believe they have the necessary expertise to help drive the campaign.

“However, let me state unequivocally, that everyone in the Ministry of Information and Culture as well as its parastatals, is key to the campaign.

“This is because as the lead ministry, we must first buy into the campaign and own it before we can propagate it.’’

The minister said that the National Orientation Agency (NOA) would spearhead the campaign to ensure positive change of attitude, values and behaviours of Nigerians.

“As I have said on several occasions, the National Orientation Agency will be in the forefront of the campaign, because it is in line with its mandate to positively change attitudes, values and behaviours.

“Make no mistake about it, we need to change the way we do things in Nigeria.

“It is important to let our people know that they cannot continue to do things the same way and expect a different result.

“The impending campaign must take on indiscipline, the lack of respect for time, loss of our time-tested values and generally lead to attitudinal change in such a way that there will be a paradigm shift in the way we do things.

“This is also in line with my vision as Minister of Information and Culture.’’

According to him, the ministry has put enormous work into the presentations that it is about to showcase.

He stated that the presentations should be considered the template for the campaign.

“But feel free to critique them and make suggestions so that the campaign can be ready on time for its launch this year unfailingly,’’ the minister added.

A mockery of democracy on the throne of judicial gangsterism. The madness of Buhari's cum APC's judicial system, a show of shame and misplaced priorities.

So Jonathan is begging?

Jonathan got tired of asking others to beg on his behalf, and decided to go prostrate. Where is that man's dignity?after dragging Nigeria backward, he is now crawling on his belly to Aso Rock to beg, like something the rain dragged in.

President Buhari, please do not listen to his plea's.
Above writer is educated illiterate, go and educate your generation with pseudo stories that touch.
BusinessRe: My Experience With UBA Bank. (must Read!!!!!!!) by ohemdave(m): 12:55pm On Nov 02, 2015
desperatem:
I will try to make this story short. I started banking with UBA early last year. Apart from outrageous tranSfer charges, postage stamp charges and very slow service I think its a good bank. I have never had issues of unauthorized withdrawal in my account until August 2015. An unauthorized ATM transfer was carried out in my account on August 8 2015 twice and UBA did not send me any alert for the 2 transactions. The first transaction was NGN 180,000 and the second was NGN 30,000. I got to know about the unauthorized transaction about 1 month few weeks later when I traveled out of Nija. A customer deposited some money in my account, so when I received the alert (My MTN number was Roamed for alert purpose) I knew instantly that about NGN 200,000 plus to NGN 300,00 was missing in my account. I can't wait to get back home to confirm it. Because of this, I came back to Nigeria Ealier than planned (My arrival date was scheduled for 15th November 2015).

When I got back to Nigeria, I visted my branch and I requested for my account statement, I got back home and was going through the account statement that was when I came across the transactions, I reported immediately to my Branch and I was asked to write a letter which I did. My account officer said maybe someone I know used my ATM card to do the ATM transfer but I told her its not someone I know and my ATM was not used for the transaction because I live alone, none of my friends or GF visited me during that period because I was busy planning my traveling and my ATM card is always in my wallet and my wallet is always on me. In the letter I wrote, I requested for the footage of whoever did the transaction and the account information of the beneficiary.

A couple of weeks later, I go a call that they have concluded the investigation. They were able to get the beneficiary account information but they said no footage was sent along. It was a First bank account so they couldn't view the the account holder's information except the name and account number that was sent from First Bank head office. Since UBA got that information, they stopped working on getting to the bottom of the matter. They said they can't work in hand with First Bank to apprehend the suspect. They said they are waiting for the day the suspect will come and do any transaction on his account even if it's 2050.

I got tired of waiting and I visited a friend who is working in First Bank last week, He checked the suspect's acount details for me because I collected the account number from UBA customer care. When my friend checked, he showed me his picture, I swear I have never seen the guy in my life. He went through his transactions as at October, we discovered that the guy withdraw all the money immediately he finished the fraud and he has less than NGN 1,500 in his account. After that revelation, I visited my UBA branch and I narrated everything to then, now they take me serious a bit but they later said "still there is nothing we can do" after then, I withdraw all my money from the account and I deposited it to my other bank account with another bank. I am going there today to withdraw the rest of my money. UBA is not a customer's bank. Its very useless bank and if you keep your life savings with them you might end up having a HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. I just shared my experience with UBA with my fellow nairalanders so you can all be wary of UBA. If you have an account with them, you better take all your money from there to avoid story that touches.

Your comments/contributions and better and quicker way to go about this is highly welcomed. Thanks for reading. I hope you learn a thing or two? If anyone experienced ATM fraud before please share your experience with us.

SAFE.
You can get his phone number and invite the police into the issue to avoid wasting time.

PoliticsRe: Should CBN Print More Money To Aid Our Dwindling Economy? by ohemdave(m): 7:02pm On Oct 31, 2015
[quote author=scofieldsimba post=39535378]I just want to know if it is right for our Central bank to print more monies in order to heal our wounded economy..

We are deficit infrastructural. I think it won't be a bad idea if there is a special fund created by CBN to build roads, improve power, improve health care, and create more industries..

If the above author is paid to write this article then I can see the high level of insanity in him and his cohorts. Bad
leadership culminate to bad governance and economy. This is a bad idea conceived by a bad fellow and from a wrong group.
