you are an engineer indeed. so if I smash walls and break chairs and can't repair a part of a blown off roof, that is not poor maintenance. Do you wait for 15 years to renovate your own building? Bad maintenance culture is a bane in Nigeria. do you expect the government to be buying chairs and tables every year? where is the PTA and Alumni association? you are waiting for Fashola to come and fix only part of a blown off roof. Don't the students pay development dues? The Government can only perform periodic maintenance. The onus lies on the schools to ensure that the little the Government does is properly maintained.

Hello people. I attended my visa interview on September23 and the enrollment extension deadline given to me by the sch I gained admission was October15. Few days after the deadline had passed I sent a mail to the embassy requesting to know the status of my application. They replied that they are yet to receive a response from the alien authority at my proposed place of residence in Germany. I sent a mail to the sch explaining why I cldnt make it to Germany b4 the deadline date. I also sent them a copy of the mail I received from the embassy and I asked for further extension. They have not replied my mail till date and jst last nite, I got a mail from the embassy asking me to come with my passport and the printout of the mail I received. There was nothing like health insurance among the requirements. Please what does this mean? will I be issued my student visa or am I being denied the visa?

There was nothing like health insurance in my mail either and I was given my 3 months visa. The big issue is for you to get the letter (e-mail) of confirmation from your school that you will still be accepted. Again I got my visa without travel insurance.

I have been asked to come to the Embassy with a confirmation letter (which I have gotten) that I would still be accepted at my university along with my passport but no word about travel insurance. I have already done enrollment in my university and I have paid German insurance for the month of October but lectures started a month ago. The embassy said that they wanted to be sure it was not too late for me start my lectures thus the need for the confirmation letter. I hope this travel insurance thing is not a bad omen. hmmmm...

I am planning on traveling to Europe soon. Can I use Tecno F5 there or Tecno is not supported in Europe.

ebele17: I also got mine fixed for the 22/9/2014. Next thing i saw was yesterday, the embassy sent me a mail telling me dat they have rescheduled it to 29/8/2014. My school, TUM, starts 1st Oct. So, i suggest you send them an email. They are very prompt in replying. State your school resumption time and ask them to re-schedule your appointment. I dont think they will refuse. Dont only include your lecture time, the enrollment time is also important. If lectures are on the 15th, then enrollment is usually earlier. So, send them an email.

I got a shocker today! My student Visa interview was fixed for the 23.09.2014. My school starts lectures on 15.09.2014. Is there anything I can do?

DANNIEmore: Print the DB account opening form (2sets) from the DB website,fill it and go to the embassy with your normal colored passport photogaphs(enof of it incase), international passport (plus your admission letter if you've got one or dnt worry if you've nt gotten admission yet) on a Monday morning b4 9am, tell them your for blocked account openning(Pls,dont sign on it till your @ d front of the VO @ d embassy as she wd then ask u to do so). Meanwhile, you can apply for your visa interview with the account opening confirmation slip you get from the embassy same day you file in your application so,while your account openning is being processed in Germany,you would've been done with your interview and then,the embassy would ask you to send them your account status after your interview.sure by this time,you should have received your account info from the DB where you would credit your 8040E into.
Nevertheless,you should expect your account info say within 2 - 4 weeks after filing(hopefully).. I hope this helps and others could add/correct where necessary. Many thanks!

1. I used Bermer Gek as my insurance though there are many of them to be used like AOK, etc so, you can search via the net to get a contact or you could PM me and I give you email of my insurer directly from the company I used (uf you need, 77Euros Monthly and would be ready in just 2 days after sending them the documents they ask for)

2. Yes I sent my transcripts again. In-short, its almost everything again I resent and im sure they gave you a deadline to do this ryt? Also, they want you to sign acceptance letter and send to them too shebi? Ask them if you can send via email so you just scan and email them cos that was what I did though sent via mail but it didn't get there on time and when it was about just a day to go and I noticed they haven't received my documents, then I decided to scan to them which they accepted very perfectly. (You should ask for your dept though).

Thanks for the wish but I never get visa yet o, I still dey the process ni.

Questn: Did they ask you for your semester contribution payment (308.5Euros) at a deadline shortly? (After payment, they would send you your sch ID, semester ticket and some other documents too. Via email and also post(if you ask them for this) 'except different for your dept tho'

Hi my good man. I have received my admission letter from Haw Hamburg. Thank you so much for your comforting words. I have a small problem though.
1) How did you get your Proof of German health insurance company?

2) Did you send them copies of your Certificate and Transcripts again. I submitted them when applying do I need to submit them again?

I would really appreciate your help because my enrollment deadline is in 2 weeks. thank you.
