I am Akinyemi Esther Abiodun, a 300L student of the department of Biochemistry, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo state, Nigeria. I'm crying for help as my scholastic pursuit is about coming to an abrupt end.

Over the years, I have only been attending lectures, writing exams but unable to check my results owing to the fact that I have been unable to pay my school fees since I got admitted. I got admitted 2017, when the School fees range was within N25,000 to N30,000.

HOW TO BE BROKE IN 2019...Part 2

I will do this, I will do that in 2019, the time is now. Many of us have already jumped into 2019 while others are still expecting their pastors to declare the year open on the 31st night before they can launch out.

Yesterday I told us that, one of the things you need to do to remain broke in 2019 is to surround yourself with broke people... I'm sure you read the post. If not, look for it and read it.

Today, I will take the second point I mentioned yesterday...

If you want to be broke in 2019 and beyond, AVOID PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. Yes, pay no attention to your personal development and start chasing money up and down.

Let me share this story with you, am sure it will help you understand why you need to go for personal development.

In 2005, John Obi Mikel of Nigeria and Lionel Messi of Argentina were both at the world youth championship (FIFA U-20) in Netherlands, where they both shone like a Million Stars, to the delight of soccer fans the world over.

Both players played as creative/attacking mid fielders for their countries at the youth championship. Argentina eventually defeated Nigeria by 2-1 at the final to win the trophy; and Lionel Messi emerged the world’s best player, while John Obi Mikel was voted second best player at the U-20 level.

Five years down the line in 2010, the gulf between the two players had widened so much that one begins to wonder what has happened. The Argentine went to FC Barcelona thereafter and developed his skills further to the point of wining several domestic titles, 2 champions’ league titles, 1 club world cup, 1 Olympics gold medal, European footballer of the year, world footballer of the year, etc.

But the Nigerian made the mistake of his career by allowing his father to influence him in choosing to go to Chelsea FC of England. The only achievement he could boast of as at 2010 after five years include a few FA cups, Carling cups and community shield cup. He just won his first league title with Chelsea that year.

What went wrong?

Lionel Messi carefully chose a club side that allowed him to develop further, and brought out the best in him. John Obi Mikel, on the other hand refused a bid from Manchester United that would have enabled him maintain his position as an attacking midfielder and develop his skills further. Instead, he chose to go to Chelsea FC because of the money involved. On getting to Chelsea, Coach Jose Maurinho turned him into a defensive midfielder, and his skills nosedived. During the period he has stayed in Chelsea, Man U has won 3 league titles, 1 club world cup, 1 champions’ league title, etc. Today, he regrets his decision: he would have won 3 league titles, 1 champions’ league, 1 club world cup, several FA cups and Carling cups by now with Man U. He would have also had the opportunity to shine better than he is doing right now and perhaps be close to Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi in terms of skill. But today, he is not in the top 50 players’ list. What an Irony!

Then Register (New User) and Complete the Registration form.

3. For users with academic session before 2012, You will be requested to provide your matriculation number which will serve as your Itranscript user name on the AAUA Itranscript portal.

4. Please, complete the form accurately, providing your personal details, password, Faculty, Department, and transcript degree requesting for. Then click on Register to proceed.
(Please, note that it is important you provide a valid email address and complete information. These would be used by the AAUA Itranscript platform to send status alerts of your application to you.)

5. For student’s copy of academic transcript Login to Your User Dashboard using your Matriculation Number as Username and your Surname as password or your updated password, then click on Make Payment (REMITA) and click on Generate RRR and choose “Student’s Copy”(Note: no registration is required).

The Minister of Labour and Empowerment, Chris Ngige, on Wednesday, said he would hold a meeting with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to find a lasting solution to issues leading to the ongoing strike embarked upon by the union.

In a statement signed by the Director of Press at the ministry, Samuel Olowookere, which also responded to a statement credited to Femi Falana (SAN), where he described the no-work-no-pay policy of the government as illegal, Ngige said every policy of the government was backed by the provision of the International Labour Organisation, stressing that while ILO backed strike, it also recognised provision to withhold wages.

Amina Mohammed also known as Justina Oluoha, who posed as Kogi State First Lady to gain access into Aisha Buhari’s Residence in the Presidential Villa, to conduct fraudulent business with popular Nigerian businessman Dr Alexander Chika Okafor (Chikason) has been arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).

According to the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, Amina gained access into the Presidential Villa in November 2017 posing as the Kogi State First Lady before inviting Chikason to the Villa posing as Aisha who was out of the country. He said:
