U r such a blessing! Am wondering how d plants get watered afterwards. Onegai: Green Walls
So, after a brief hiatus, we are back!
Have you heard of a Green wall/Living wall? Basically, it's a wall consisting of living, growing plants and moss. You can have it indoors or outdoor, but it looks much nicer indoors. Construction is not that hard and the raw materials required can be sourced easily in Nigeria but I haven't seen anyone do it, so I would advise getting one of the kits (they sell them pre-packaged) abroad and assembling in Nigeria.
You'll need: Wood as the backing Moisture retaining material Felt material Potting soil Plants A location that is close to sunlight
It's like hanging a photo on the wall. It's a very unique look. May I suggest if you get one, don't over water it as you don't want the wood underneath to soak in water.
Here are some examples of them. |

It really looks more like reflux oh than colic imo. Coming out of the nose. I think it's best she presents at a hospital, and am wondering what the GA was at birth, and then any history suggestive of birth asphyxia. author=favoredgal post=45648142] The symptoms definitely sounds more like colic than reflux, except it's silent reflux Spit ups are normal With reflux my daughter used to PROJECTILE VOMIT after MOST meal and scream when it was time to eat. So Why not take her to the hospital for proper diagnosis? Nospermin and gripe water doesn't even work for colic talk less about reflux Stay away from those things Infant gestacid is usually recommended for reflux sha - dint get it to buy here in Naija Either ways if its colic (which I suspect strongly) it will be outgrown at roughly 3 months so hang in there. My daughter outgrew her reflux by her first birthday she is now 2 plus. The ff tips will help either colic or reflux 1. Ensure she burped after every meal and she don't use to burp easy at all - sometimes it took as much as 30 mins to get a burp out of her 2. Hold her upright after every meal for at least 30 mins, don't be in a hurry to put her to lie down 3. Breastfeed and avoid bottles or use any ok colic bottles such as dr miracle 4. You the mum - Avoid dairy products, beans products and similar foods 5. Put her to nap / sleep on her tummy - supervised cuz of SIDS and slightly elevate her head by putting books under the leg of the cot or blanket under her head All the best, both are extremely hard to deal with but remember it passes. I pray it's colic not reflux - only because colic passes faster. Email me if you need anything[/quote] |

Mum said they have been friends since school days she has been my physician since infant ,love me for been the only female in the house .I could not reach her on phone so I try to move out and get commercial bus to my destination before the stomach ache got worst reach the hospital saw new faces the lady in blue uniform came up to me after waiting for hours ...have already new mum is not around . "your name ? And your card no. " she said ..i look up at her " i didnt have card " then u will need to get a card and register .... I didn't need that I said humbly . we can't attend to u then , she said now she sound rude as I was about to speak a senior nurse came in " tosin what's wrong? " i explain ...she brings out a yellow card instead of a green card...and directed me to the new doctor office ...
Enter the office sat down and I gave him the card He started asking questions later he was silent and he said "go and lied down there (pointed to a bed few inches away ) I lied down and he came up to me press my stomach with his fingers and later he said "raise your cloth up little" I do that and he start to examined again asking "here or here " I don't really no where the pain was really from so I nodded to reply him a quick no he later stop and clean his face with handkerchief and said " will you take off your skirt then" I quickly raise up my head ,face change "may be I will come back " why he asked
Nothing when mum comes I will be here" I said and walked towards the door and he later said " which mum?" Mum m.o.j Are you m.o.j he asked no ! I reply (frustrated) ok wait .he pick up his pen and prescribed some drugs for me...I move out. U stay long tosin the senior nurse said as I handed her the note and the card she then direct me to the other door ...I was given drugs and receipt total of 15k the nurse there look up to me for cash and the other one said "aunty pls sorry you can go, can't you see the card is yellow" i used the drugs and I was alright. @faith2013, people think it's abominable to speak up and get help when they are dying to get help. A little information can be of help to anyone having the male infertility. The problem is that most men will not talk about it so it's left for the wives to do what they can to help their husbands. We had 2 icsi this year, one chemical, one bfn and if I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have been in a hurry. Fertilaid is good. DH took it and his count rose from 100,000 to 1.8mil within a month. Though they said it's takes 3 months but I know someone who took maca roots and it unbelievably went from 3mil to 120mil in 5 weeks. I want to think multi maca from flp is gd |

Talc in d privates predispose to ovarian cancer. Onegai: It's not about fake Johnson's products, it's about how harsh Johnson's can be in quite a lot of babies' skins. I had issues, my nephew's had issues and I know people who has issues with Johnson's baby wash. We all bought ours from different sources in the U.S. and in the U.K. as in, we were physically present abroad buying them and still got rashes. Even my paeditrician abroad told me not to use Johnson's because it can be quite harsh in some babies' skins. Even amongst mothers abroad, the rashes are a common complaint. But it's the cheapest baby product on the market and since they do have quite a strong lobbyist presence with most U.S. govt bodies, they will sort themselves out. Some doctors in Nigeria are now echoing that sentiment too.As per cancer, I don't know. Personally I won't put any talc-based powder or powder of any sort near my privates or anyone else's (leave the good bacteria there to do its job ) |
Family › Re: A Family Routine That Really Caught My Intrest. by ojac1: 1:29pm On Apr 09, 2016 |
Am happpy oh. I keep saying it. Thank God pple have same reasoning. I tire for shallow thinking. ArinzeAlec: My neighour had a tough time time conceiving, When she eventually did, she had two kids in succession and they closed that chapter due to medical reasons. Kids are grown and enrolled in schools. Both parents are business people which means they also leave in the morning.
This couple developed a routine which leaves me with smiles. Wife wakes early in the morning and most times, the noise from her kitchen rendezvous gets me up to start my day too. Whilst busy in the kitchen, her husband sweeps the house. Don’t ask me how I know, cause I see him do it and most times I greet him in the process. Wifey bathes the kids and the husband helps out in preparing them for school. Before 7:30am, they are on their way out. Kids get to school on time, they get to their businesses on time, everyone is happy.
A win-win situation. I also love the way they have brought up their kids. You could see their male child in the kitchen washing plates while the girl plays. When asked, she would gladly tell you it is his turn to wash the dishes. He sweeps and does whatever his sister does. He is a teenager now and I see him go to the market, I see him cook, I see him do what a normal human should do. He has been trained to understand that being a male isn’t an entitlement and no task is an exclusive preserve for the women.
Wherever he finds himself, I believe sorting out his basic needs wouldn’t be much of a problem to him. I have heard most men say they would never do certain things and it ranges from to cleaning the house, to cooking, to washing etc. According to them, they are for women and the married ones would ask “what did I marry my wife for?
It is very heart breaking to see men who wouldn’t participate in the upbringing of their kids save for bringing money for essential commodities. It is no wonder men who bath their kids, participate in house chores are called all sort of names. What is “unmanly” about a man who know the real definition of being a father? A man who understand the role of bonding with his kids? Who set those standards? You bring a child into the world, you should be responsible for his welfare. It is very ridiculous to say “im helping my wife bath the kids or change diapers, or clean the house”. On your own kids, in your own house?? Are you okay?? I believe two adults who come together to make a family, a home should be responsible for the welfare of the home.
Leaving all duties to the woman because you feel it is her responsibility reduces her to a maid Isn’t it surprising to note that men who would rather be dead than partake in house chores demand their wives partake in the financial responsibility of the family. It is very okay for her to work, raise kids, clean home and then bring her monthly contribution while the other end remains unbalanced because You are a Man and certain duties are not cut out for you.
I have an idea on how I want to raise my kids. If God blesses me with boys and girls, I would raise them as human beings. Humans who should be responsible for their basic need, their environment and welfare. Humans who understand that no role is gender specific save for the ones our biological make up has prepared us for. Humans who shouldn’t feel any sense of entitlement because of their gender Humans who understands the importance of teamwork I really want to break those stereotypes when I have my kids. I want to raise fine men and women who wouldn’t tow societal expectation even if it is BS just to save face The next generation shouldn’t be burdened with the load of BS we take in daily as normal This shouldn’t repeat itself, we owe our kids that much.
PS: I am not responsible for what you make out of this post. |

MAMA zaynie, ekele m. zaynie: Hello mamas, How are you all doing. Hope una no dey vex say I dey always hang out here?
Ok, Ejimikeokwu( I hope I got that right). When you pray, be specific in your prayers. Tell God to give you the strength to defeat this spirit. Trust me, its not in your mind. When we were little and used to have nightmares, my mom would tell us to fight back in the dream. She would say in the dream, we were equals. Havent you ever wondered how you are able to do incredible things in the dream. I am speaking from experience, when I was pregnant with my first, I used to experience this. Then I would see me driving with 2 kids ( an older boy and a younger girl) behind ( I couldnt drive at this time, I didnt even know the sex of the belle yet). He would threaten to kill my husby and kids if I didnt succumb. One day I actually fought him and stabbed him. The thing is I didnt go searching for a knife, it just came into my hands. The shock on his face, I can never forget. I didnt see him again till like 2 years later. He came as husby buh didnt do like husby buh sleep was clouding my eyes. I told husby to stop waking me up to do it, he thot I was playing until the day I mistook him for the spirit and punched him hard. We do it befor we sleep, in the afternoon or when we wake in the morning. There is no mistaking. When next he came, he was limping. He was actually scared to move close to me.
I know someone(A) who was stabbed by B in a dream, A fought back and collected the long pin and stabbed B back. A woke up with plenty body pains and called me to tell me what she dreamt. She didnt know that few hours ago, I saw B and she was complaining about severe pains and poisoning in a body part. Few months later, B died. What if A hadnt fought back? FYI, A isnt a prayer warrior somebody. She is very stubborn and doesnt take nonsense but she prays. In real life, she would never raise a finger against B. In the dream, they were equal. |
