Victor Giabom is the real Chairman of the APC
So what ? Is it Chairman's duty to conduct Guber Primaries or that of NWC? Answer the question and check your spelling Giabom or Gabon?

moderatedguy:
The Primaries is null and void according to APC chairman Anslem Ojezua.
And you think that makes sense? Gubernatorial primaries is for NWC so it was done.

Ask Ojezua who are the contestants he wants to preside primaries on, he will mention that 3 credits, treacherous and confused Obasek who is already in PDP.

He wants to play the role of undertaker but unfortunately, Obasek doesn't want to risk anything so left him hanging to his fate.

The case is not litigable because Ojezua is not a candidate and can't contest the process.
PoliticsRe: "APC Edo Primaries Remain Postponed" - Giadom Writes INEC, DSS by ojbaba95(m): 12:37pm On Jun 22, 2020
Saw a lot of comments saying this letter of nauseating Giadom holds water, absolutely not!

National Chairman is not sole controller of a Party. NWC decisions is what is Ongoing in Edo.

Authoritatively, INEC are currently monitoring the Edo APC Primaries. Police, DSS , Observers are also sighted.

Once Obaseki steps up his compensation package for them and get to promise them some juicy incentives including contracts should he be re-elected, they will step down for him. Those 3 guys have planned how to cash out big o, so nobody should rush them
....but Obasek is genetically a traitor. How would those aspirants believe him?

Why should they step down for him?

If we are going to progress as a nation and improve our democratic processes, we need to start strengthening the internal democracy of our political parties. Political parties cannot throw up the best candidates if we keep manipulating the system to favour vested interests. General election is merely to fulfill all righteousness since the political elites already rigged the party primary against popular candidates.
Both Obasek and PDP have meeting point there. PDP do not reward loyalty, only highest bidder, bring the dollars that's it! Just like Obasek automatic, non negotiable, right of first refusal infact he prefers automatic plus 4years without any election, very notorious!

Do you mind the 3 credits power drunk guy? Until he brings out the dossiers of all the illegal payments Oshiomole forced him to pay or at least the requests, list of all the contracts he was forced to award including the Appointees forced on him, he remains a traitor just as it was historically documented in his lineage.

Mere noise of Oshiomole is trying to be a godfather with overbearing influence remains a propaganda without proven facts because he is now in the hands of godfathers, grand godfathers and even godmothers in that his new home PDP where he must have paid billions.

If Obasek cannot fly his reelection bid in a new party asides those siamese twins APC/PDP, he remains insincere and selfish. Aspirants in PDP are now been placated, that will never come cheap. I pity Edo govt purse right now.

Mimiko(Labour) Ifeanyi Uba(YPP) , Peter Obi(APGA), Omo-Agege (Labour), Kako-Are(Accord) among many others seek Elections on fresh platforms and won based on popularity. Why can't Obasek do same instead of using that party that don't reward loyalty if he is that popular. Shameless ingrate!

PoliticsRe: Tony Momoh: Obaseki Should Be Blamed For His Disqualification, Not Oshiomhole by ojbaba95(m):
Don't think it's all about Godfatherism. Obasek is not specific enough to convince someone like me. We need data in details like how many commissioners and aides Oshiomole forced on him.Contracts awarded under pressure, Money demanded, time, amount and purpose, paid to what account /persons or unpaid with proves. Otherwise I consider shout of godfatherism as vague and ploy just to annihilate someone's personality. Obasek has nothing to gain in APC currently ,he should provide all these details to Edo People now without further delays or hold his peace forever.
PoliticsRe: Atiku: Oshiomhole Frustrated Plans To Remove Fuel Subsidy By Obasanjo Government by ojbaba95(m): 1:22pm On Jun 07, 2020
Atiku againhuh Oshiomole frustrated subsidy removal during OBJ/Atiku tenure.....really? Your methods and sincerety did!!!

For so many that might have forgotten, OBJ/Atiku hike fuel price like six times.

Price was increased from 17 Naira all the way to 75 Naira, even in the face of fervent Labour resistance, so which subsidy was Atiku talking about?

Or are we supposed to have been buying Petrol @200Naira/litre then?

Simple fact was Atiku being in charge of Privatisation wasn't allowed to sell NNPC to his friends like he said last year.

Unfortunately for Atiku, most of the Federal Government Companies sold then were nothing to write-home about today, NITEL, Nigeria Airways come to mind every time.

Yes NNPC still have several issues management wise but no pointer if privatised then would have boom today.

Privatisation is not bad in anyway but for essential services , there are market conditions that should be in place before throwing the public into the hands of Capitalists otherwise untold hardship is imminent.

After years of perpetual increase in fuel price, OBJ/ATIKU Admin granted licence to build refinery to Dangote at the twilight but was reversed by succeeding PDP govt.

The difference between now and then was that many refineries are coming up, modular and large scales like Dangote, that is no scarcity and monopoly are likely to surface anytime soon.

Conclusively, OBJ/Atiku should have followed same procedures of telcos deregulation where MTN, Econet and later Glo were licensed and already building infrastructures before NITEL was handed over to MTEL or whatever then, even though original NITEL is epileptic today and Nigeria Air is no longer existing.
PoliticsRe: Ize-Iyamu: Those Who Brought Obaseki From Nowhere Can Look Elsewhere by ojbaba95(m): 8:45am On May 30, 2020
Obaseki has not done well politically and it is an unpardonable weakness. Not able to show leadership also failed in stakeholder management. Locked out his own elected Party members through his devilish nocturnal HOA INAUGURATION because of spurious feelers he is going to be impeached, that's not easy, impeached a Governor? Continuous name calling and intimidation of his own Party men who helped him to the exalted office with their blood and sweat even when he was least deserving. Parochial approach to governance, bent on not allowing dissenting views shows zero leadership abilities. Forget all those godfatherism shenanigans, Obaseki dug his hole deep himself. Oshiomole is not a saint and can never be, mostly, everyone in politics is for a gain and of course service to humanity, these has to be balanced out. Obaseki failed to do so and can't be rewarded with 2nd coming. Nothing like first refusal in APC Constitution even Buhari didn't get such so who is Obaseki with all his obvious leadership weaknesses to enjoy such. Obaseki has burnt too many bridges and will not survive the onslaught....only God!

What are your suggestions, contribution financially or otherwise to combat this ravaging pandemic. Lagos has been under some form of restrictions even before Buhari"s speech so what's the fuss all about or you just want to speak for the sake of it, I believe. Create awareness, support the needy and encourage the health workers, not a time for all this sentiment. Yinka....wake up!

PoliticsPDP To Sack National Secretariat Workers by ojbaba95(op): 3:19pm On Mar 06, 2020
The Peoples Democratic Party has confirmed plans to sack some of its national secretariat workers.

A memo to this effect has been circulated to all members of staff of the party.

A copy of the document obtained by our correspondent, in Abuja, on Thursday, said the exercise was approved during the party’s 89th National Executive Committee meeting.

The memo, which was titled “Implementation of the resolution of NEC on staff rationalisation,” did not specify the number of workers to be affected.

The memo, which was signed by the PDP Deputy National Secretary, Mr Agbo Emmanuel, also said the affected workers had an option of resigning honourably.

It said, “The NEC, at its 89th meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2020, adopted the following resolutions: NEC approved the rationalisation of staff of the PDP national secretariat. NEC committee on staff rationalisation was converted to implementation committee.

“The finance department was directed to pay immediately January and February salaries to all members of staff. Also, September to December 2019 staff housing allowance is to be paid immediately. That will be the last payments on the present salary structure.

“The list of staff affected by the rationalisation would be published shortly but affected staff members are given an option to resign honourably.”

Recall that the staff had, a few weeks ago, claimed that the party paid N12m as total monthly salaries for the establishment staff and those of the Peoples Democratic Institute and N5m for personal staff of members of the PDP National Working Committee.

The employees also alleged that they were being owed four months of consolidated housing allowance for 2019 even as the party realised about N6bn from the sale of forms for the 2019 general elections.

The workers had sent a separate memo titled, ‘NWC report on staff downsizing – the need for human face’ addressed to the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, and members of the PDP NEC,

Signatories to the document included Innocent Nwankwo (Chairman, Staff Welfare Committee); Imanfidon Samson, (Deputy Chairman; Alhaji Abubakar Mansur (Secretary); among others.

The memo read in part, “In the last quarter of 2018, the party netted about N6bn from the sale of forms for the 2019 general elections. NEC, in its wisdom, approved about N1bn to be set aside for payment of all salaries and allowances of staff for the whole of 2019.

“Later, about N700m was further collected from the sale of forms for Kogi and Bayelsa states governorship elections. All these notwithstanding, four months of consolidated housing allowance for staff for the said 2019 have not been paid as of today.”

PoliticsRe: Tony Momoh: Why Buhari Won't Intervene In Oshiomhole, Obaseki Crisis by ojbaba95(m): 3:09pm On Jan 21, 2020
So elected lawmakers should not be allowed inauguration responsibly because Obaseki is fighting Godfathers? Not logical! Obaseki is unfit for leadership position. A leader can always lobby dissenting opinions to his camp without necessarily applying force. It will end in tears for him. Too much fight with too many allies and political juggernauts in APC.
Dreal1247:
Most of the times, the words spoken tend to pose challenge against the speaker. Oshomole once said that he was destroying godfatherism in Edo State. But he never mentioned that he was to be the god father. Now he wants to be one. The words are now staging a formidable resistance against him and. Unfortunately, he is not quick to understand what is on the ground for the moment.
