Can you explain why Benzema wasn't a better candidate? He surpassed Salah on Goals at league level, Competition level in the Euros and knocked off his Liverpool. Doesn't matter if he scored, he was there 180 minutes on both legs.

If Salah didn't participate in the Euros, then why the arguments of Messi winning the Copa as a criterion for winning the B d'Or? Did Benzema participate in the Copa America?

Let's not make this about Salah.....I like him there, but all I am saying is that his performance from September deservedly places him there.

I remember an Educational Programme way back (Zain Challenge) for Students of African Universities!
Nigeria was represented by OAU, UNILAG and I think UI. Our Students performed remarkably well against CapeTown University, Makerere University, Tanzania, and one Egyptian University!..

If Private Universities students represented us!..Maybe they would have still done well.
